Price of cover very reasonable for peace of mind in knowing my phone is covered for anything unexpected. I would be lost without my phone and let's be honest there not cheap so this really is peace of mind. The online application was quick and simple
I went via Quidco to buy mobile phone insurance as they were offering £38 for 'level 5 cover'. On Gadget Covers website where was nothing anywhere about what levels there were, so I rang the customer service helpline and the lady I spoke to didnt know what level 5 cover was, so she asked her manager who also didnt know. So I purchased the mobile phone cover at £4.99 per month but my cashback was only £7.50... I feel a bit cheated out of my cashback! If Level 5 was covering a few bits such as mobile, laptop, camera etc I might have gone for it to get the extra cash back and Gadget Cover could have made a bigger sale! I am still curious though - what is level 5 cover?!
I have to say that i am not impressed with filling out your insurance application online. Although it was very straight forward it did not take all my details and left me without cover for my new phone. If it had not been for me sending an email to you asking about cover and payment i would have been un aware that this had happened and not covered which would be a disaster had a claim needed to have been made!! I did get a quick reply which was the only positive thing about my experience. I do however still have an issue with my level of cover still not including loss so have to say that I am far from happy if this is the case.
I would have expected a renewal to carry forward all the phone details so that I didn't have to put them in again. I was slightly disappointed that I had to enter the phone details (model and ID number) again - albeit that I just cut & pasted them from the reminder email!
Went through the process. Noticed at the end it said please click to confirm your phone is less than one year old. Didn't tick the box as my phone is just over a year old thought it may say on the next page that i have to pay more or answer more questions but it didn't and it still processed my order. Then thought it must be ok if it's gone through otherwise it wouldn't have let me. Didn't want to take any chances as wanted to be sure my phone was insured so I sent an email. Got a reply to tell me that it wouldn't be insured and my application would be cancelled!! Had I not checked I would have assumed that I was insured and would have been paying for it!! Can't understand why you can't insure a phone that is more than a year old. It's still valuable!

I queried some points about the cover and received excellent and clear advice by email reply with 12 hours. I bought the cover as the quote matched the best I could find and I could buy it for my my daughter as a family member.
No policy details provided as promised. It took 3 emails to customer services to get them sent and on two occasiosn the action promised by the customer services did not materialise.
Pretty poor really and raises concerns about teh level of service if making a claim. Fingers crossed at this time!!!!!!!

Good price, but limited documents provided, even after purchase - I'd like my policy email to any email addresses I'd like it sent to - Julian@1bignightout.com - if it's possible email it.
Also no mention of the limitations of making a claim - for example, can you claim without proof of purchase - what is necessary?
Good price , with discount but it didn't adequately cover my situation which was purchasing insurance for my 14 year old daughter .I had to email to get an answer - yes we would be covered .Secondly , the fact the cover doesnt start for two weeks is a bit worrying as I will have to wait (whilst quietly panicking) to see that nothing happens to her phone over the next 2 weeks .Improve these areas and you have a winner - regards David
I thought that I had found the best and easiest gadget insurance in a competitor to your selves when I insured my wifes mobile, but when I decided to insure with the same company it became swiftly apparent that this was not so, inasmuch as that the stupid questions asked, and the number of phone callls needed to even get a responce from them, the final staw was when talking to one of their operatives who wanted to know the value of my mobile down to the ladst penny, because it was not on their list, they said I should get on to my service provider and find this out before they would even entertain insuring my mobile, they were told politely what to do with their insurance?.
