I placed an order with geotees on Jan. 31. Because of an error, which they acknowledged, I did not receive my items until almost three weeks later, at which time I no longer had immediate use for the items (or time to use them). The package sat in my living room, nice and dry, until I opened it it last week (five weeks after I received it). The package was fine and dry on the outside, but the inside was moldy! The invoice, rock, the stick and the screw were covered in mold. It seems to have originated with the stick, since that was completely covered in a smelly pink mold. I sent geotees an email with a photo of the moldy items and asked for a refund. They refuse to give me a refund unless I pack up the moldy items and pay to have them shipped back! And they act like they're doing me a favor because I've gone the 28 days I have to complain. Never mind that they shipped the items to me late and that the items were obviously wet and moldy when they were sent!
Only ordered 4 items, but when the package arrived 6 days after order (not too bad considering it was a bank holiday weekend) only 3 of the items were in the package. Admittedly the missing item is only a pack of 5 replacement nano logs (50p), but regardless of value, a missing item is a missing item.
I immediately sent an email to the firstname.lastname@example.org but have yet to have any response or acknowledgement.
Doubtful I'd use them again as a supplier and currently wouldn't recommend them to others
I ordered a couple of containers and a trackable window cling (and a few other things) One of the pots was badly cracked due to it being poorly packaged and the window cling tracking number did not match the copy tag so I now have a useless trackable in my car. I did open a call with GeoTees and they have said it will be rectified in a few days so hopefully not all bad :)
The other products I got were very good quality, the order process was easy and the delivery was quick.
I ordered a achievement award for as a gift and specifically asked for the packaging to be plain so it could not be Identified by a member of the family, sadly GEOTESS was stamped on the postage label, so they instantly recognised the parcel.. so no surprise for them. Further more I received a refund for excess postage, which was very nice, but the invoice wasn't clear at all. It inferred a further charge to my credit card, on making an enquiry on this, I found the response to be rather sarcastic. I hope the company will review their credit invoice so they read correctly.
It was easy to do business - though when I left things too long, my basket kept being emptied - and what I had previously put in there wasn't readily accessible - I had to start the process again. The free postage was appealing - but having to spend £40 was a pain - it forced me to buy stuff that I didn't necessarily want at this stage - just to get the free postage! A quick delivery - too quick I wasn't expecting anything so soon - that I had to pick up my delivery from the post office. Thinking about it - the delivery date was never mentioned.
