Excellent service and a good looking door, neatly installed.

The ordering process was easy and Globaldoor were very helpful in finalising the specification. A convenient day for installation was arranged and that all went smoothly as well.
The door looks superb and appears to be of excellent and substantial construction. The fitters did an excellent job and I am very happy with the result.

Absolutley brilliant Service with a top rate product.

The door is beautiful, and got comments before it was properly off the van! Ordering it was so easy with the step-by–step online process, but what really impressed me was the fitting. Local companies tried to pursued us that this ‘remote’ company in the North East would not provide good customer care, but that is rubbish. The surveyor and the fitters were brilliant and provided not only a good final finish but a really courteous service.
We went to global doors for a cheaper version of the Yale lock proposition, as we wanted the fobs and the key pad, which are easy to use. What we got was a great product and brilliant customer service. So, thank you global doors, and thank you Andy Napoleon!

Reliable Courteous and Fast Service at market rates

reliable, courteous and fast service, although market rate is not cheap at close on £1k when doors available for £400 from DIY store- you pay for the survey, installation, expertise, speed and reliability. Would recommend this service.

Lovely door - great installation

Right from designing & ordering to installation this has been a wonderful purchasing experience. The door designer is true to how the real door looks, the payment terms are clear and adhered to, the survery was done quickly and to time, the guys that came to install the door were early, organised, friendly, polite and cleaned up well after the work was done. Could not recommend GlobalDoor enough!

Fantastic service from start to finish

Excellent service from start to finish. I was kept updated with my order given an installation date and time to suit me and the two lads who fitted my door were very polite, clean and did a fantastic job fitting the door, ensuring i was happy and leaving no mess behind

Excellent product and customer service!

Purchasing items on the internet isn't always simple, especially when it includes arranging delivery and fitting. However, Globaldoor provided excellent customer service by keeping me informed of payments, delivery date etc. The fitters were punctual, polite and professional. I recommend Globaldoor!

Easy process from ordering to installation, without hassles.

After getting quotes for a new front door from various other companies that were all ridiculously high to begin with and then amazingly because their managers were able to, reduce it by half to a still high price, it was a refreshing change to go to Global's website and pick what I wanted and get a price there and then that was realistic and reasonable.
I was especially pleased at the effort the company made to accommodate my individual needs. With plenty of communication via phone and email to make sure I got just what I wanted.
Don't get the sales reps in from other companies to give you there waffle. Use Global

Never thought I would get so much pleasure out of a new front door!

Every now and then you come across an organisation who clearly has it so right from VFM to great customer service. All contact with global door and its associated companies has been highly professional and certainly a massive and very welcome improvement from previous poor experiences with the market leaders. If you are thinking of using them ...do...you will not be disappointed.

Service and qualility as it should be

Thank you buying off line is difficult to judge the quality but talking to you on the phone put my mind at rest and the quality at the right price was important to me you meet my expectations and the fitters you used where very professional I am in the building trade and was not disappointed with the end result .This was fitted as a security measure for my elderly mother and the turnaround from order to fitting was reasonable and you even brought it forward slightly as requested and thank you for accomodating us with that

A Quality Door that stands out.

Hi Front door delivered on time with no marks.Easy read instructions on how to fit door.Fitted door looks terriffic,with several neighbours saying how posh it was.Good communication at Globaldoor and saved quite a bit of money as a Company fitting it.The Glass design realy stands out,excellent quality throught out.Hope to do business again.

Great service, took longer to deliver form point of ordering than I had expected but not a problem.

Initial survey completed very quickly and although several weeks until delivery the installation was excellent and and the fitters re-fitted the internal architrave and basically left nothing but minor paint touch up to complete. The fitting looks excellent.The door itself is is great although I probably would have chosen a different threshold if I had known in advance what the one that has been fitted looked like as it is basically uPVC and detracts from the overall quality look of the door. I'll probably cover with wood or similar. The service from Global Door was also excellent and prompt throughout

Exceptional service and incredibly fast and efficient

From the first contact (website) to the telephone call to book the survey, everything was incredibly smooth and efficient.
We were kept advised at all times and the quality of the door and the workmanship from the installation team is fantastic!

Quality product very prompt delivery

I spent quite some time researching which composite door I would buy and decided upon Global Door. I am really glad that I did because am very impressed with quality and solid construction of the product and now that I have fitted it even more impressed with its operation and thermal insulation. The door feels really solid an secure and I am thinking of buying another one!

Quick Install of a quality door.

Ordering my door was a simple process and survey was completed within a couple of days. Door was installed just over 2 weeks later which was quick considering it was a non standard composite 30 minute fire door, required for a 2nd storey flat. The installers were quick and courteous and left no mess and removed the old door and all rubbish. Only negatives with the job were the door numbers and door closer were not sent with the door, as ordered, and were posted out to me later, as I asked to fit these myself. Also, the brochure for my door stated the glazing was fire rated glass and appeared to not be double glazed, which I enquired if this was correct but was wrongly advised that it was double glazed windows in the door. This was not critical for me as the door faces a closed stair but might be for some and was misleading. Lastly, the door pricing was excellent and communiaction with Global Door was good. As mentioned, only downside was the missing door furniture which really should have been delivered with the door and fitted on the day of install. Apart from that, no complaints at all and no salesmen to negotiate in the process.

After finding Globaldoor online, reading the reviews and spec'ing my door I decided to get in a window firm to give us a quote too (having already quietly decided who I was going to order with). Having spoken to the lady at the other window firm and her giving me a provisional quote of £999 for a uPVC door she proceeded to book a sales visit to measure up and give a formal quote. The salesman arrived and had a look around, didn't measure then got into sales mode. Price started at £2600 (this was for a uPVC door and not the more expensive composite!), then with a 1 time 40% discount the offer was brought down to £1560 at which point I advised him that the lady on the other end of the phone told me £999. "Oh" he said.."then I'll have to honour that" at this point my mind was made up. The salesman left, I placed the order with Globaldoor.

The whole process was painless, no hard sell, quick to order and no delays. The door was delivered and installed on the day they said and within 7 days of my order. The fitters were pleasant, clean and extremely professional. I will not hesitate to order again or pass on my recommendations to friends and family, in fact I have already as my work colleague was waiting to hear my experience before ordering herself. I received a call from the uPVC window company within a few days of refusing their offer reducing the price of the door to £900.

Globaldoor, if you're thinking of moving into windows too you'll have an order for the whole house soon as we're renovating. Keep up the good work Globaldoor!!

Quality product and a good price to match.

Me and the other half decided to replace our ageing wooden door in 2012 and so we started looking around for companies to provide a decent composite door. This lead us to the Globaldoor website where we were impressed with the products on offer but also the pricing to go with it.

Naturally we were sceptical of this so we brought in 4 or 5 local companies to quote for the same door & install service we had from Globaldoor. All of these companies quoted between 50-150% of what we had been previously quoted!

The installers were good (although they are contracted from another company - the product itself is also resold by Globaldoor from another company).

One downside - the product we spec'd was designed & sold to have a door number on the door itself - although when it came to be fitted there was no actual room on the door to put it - so more a design & validation error on the website itself.

I would happily recommend this company & the products to anyone who is thinking of purchasing a new door.

Excellent Job – 9.5

From initial booking – timescales were as Global suggested; a very efficient service. I didn’t feel it was a “rushed job” even though the fitters were based out of our area. Taking out the existing wooden door was a bit of a concern but plaster work was rectified, outside light and doorbell reinstated and all it needs now is a splash of paint on the new plaster. The door ordered arrived with wrong handle ie not lever pad, but this was rectified next morning when the team unexpectedly turned up to change it and add mastic to the fresh plaster work luckily we were in! Lock system is a bit more complicated than my old wooden door but overall the hallway feels much warmer now and all in all a job well done – would definitely recommend them to my neighbours and friends. Very proud to have this smart door!

If only everything in life was as easy

After much debating and surfing we plumped for a Global door and couldn't be happier (and no before you ask, I am not an employee or in any way connected to the company).
Global doors were extremely helpful on the telephone giving advice and sending a sample straight away and the installation was done immaculately. I didn't even need to clean up after they had gone and the door looks lovely.
The product wasn't cheap but we wanted something which was draught-proof (unlike our previous wooden door) and looked good too and I think it was money well spent.
There was a slight delay in fitting because the door hadn't arrived with [Link] (the fitting company) on the due date, but I got a phone call first thing to tell me they weren't able to come and they turned up as promised on the revised date 3 days later. Would happily use again

Cannot recommend enough from start to finish

Initially obtained the quote from the website which allowed various flexibility though on a few occasions I had to contact their sales team and every time was dealt with efficiently (Andy is excellent). Order then placed had a call within the day to arrange for the survey. Survey was fine and no hidden extra's the engineer explained through items that I should be aware of (fitting etc). Order then placed and as agreed this was 50% of the final outstanding value.
Fitting went without issue - the fitters were very professional and were happy to discuss any aspects of the fitting. I had a keyfree system fitted (more later). Very happy with the quality of the door which is excellent and the fitting. We had one minor issue which was a security chain not fitted by accident but emailed Andy who organised the engineers to contact us, at that point we decided against the chain but they were still happy to send it to us should we ever wish to use it. Final payment occurred a couple of days after final installation.
Regarding the keyfree system we had a real debate about whether to go for this or not - I am really pleased we went for this option. The system is straight forward, opening from the inside is by pressing a button in the handle. From the outside either by a numeric code (up to 10 digits) or by the key fobs supplied. Now no longer have to worry about any of the family getting in. Setting of code is very straight forward for amending the main code or adding and removing the visitor code. On other reviews of keyfree there has been comment regarding the voice confirmation - silent mode removes most of the confirmation but leaves the confirmation that the system has been deadlocked - personally I am happy about this and if like me you are never sure the door was locked the verbal confirmation does assist :)

Good product, nice service, expensive keys

The whole process was pretty painless, placed my order on line and all the documents were issued straight away, bit of a hitch when booking in my survey as the installation company [Link] kept calling my mobile from different mobile numbers without leaving a message so i had no idea it was them. Finally booked in and the installation was very good, 2 guys turned up early, unfortunately pulled out our BT line while removing our previous door but stopped to help us reconnect everything before carrying on with the work. The constantly cleaned up after themselves and the door and area around it was cleaned and looked like new, didn't have to do anything except cut one more key. Not as easy as we were led to believe, not everywhere can cut them and it costs £15 each and 2 weeks to get. Overall very good service would recommend this company.

I have to admit that buying something like a door online was a little daunting at first, I didnt have much knowledge, other than knowing i needed a new door. I found the global door site extremely informative, and being able to play at designing a door and getting a price online, made the whole process easy and dare i say fun..

I still had some reservations about parting with cash online, but having spoke to the gentleman at global, was fully reassured, he even pointed me their other customers trustpilot reviews, to help ease my mind.

From ordering the door, with a really low deposit, everything was done as they said, a professional polite surveyor came to measure everything up, and the door was fitted promptly and without any fuss or mess.

I just wanted to say thank you, the whole process from start to finish was so simple, and easy, whats more, my new door looks superb!
