Saved me a fortune and helped me cancel my confusing exisiting agrrement

I found the offer very good having researched the market to find that almost everywhere had a cancellation fee or something called a restocking fee which really meant that at any point even if I was out of contract I would have to pay to return the machine. Handepay rep came in and explained there were no hidden charges for returning the machine and so long as I gave my 3 months notice my contract would end in 3 years time and someome would come to collect the machine FOC. Along with this he gave me a good deal on my rates which after all is where most of my money is spent. He also went through how they would help me out of my current contract and all so far seems very seamless. I would recommend them to anyone.

stay clear of them

I took out a 3 year contract with them for a card machine, their salesman never said anything about the unusual and very long cancellation notice required. which if you dont do it they roll you over for 2 more years. I've fallen foul of this 12 months notice period and they just seem to laugh at you as they have you hooked and there is nothing you can do about it, i wouldnt use them again and i warn all my business friends about them and their sister company merchant rentals in the hope that no one else falls foul of them.

A Bad Experience with Handepay and Merchant Rentals

In my opinion Handepay are not the best company to use. Their sales people mis-lead us and failed to explain key facts instead focussing on the benefits of their services which resulted in us being locked in a three year contract paying £23.99 a month with Merchant Rentals for our card terminal even though this had been returned to them without use.

In my opinion I would not recommend using Handepay and if you do make sure you read the small print extremely well and ensure the information completed by the salesperson is correct.

Absolutely awful company! Mis-selling, Hiding behind Merchant Rentals when dealing with customer complaints. False promises and high pressure sales. Stay clear of this company! 1 star is too much.
