The Hilton Finance is the worst hotel we've stayed at in a very long time. We experienced very rude hotel personnel and poor customer service. In addition to the poor service, the hotel was extremely noisy. When we tried to address our concerns with the GM, Mr. O'Brien, it was clear he could care less. Mr. O'Brien wouldn't even return our call or respond to an email. Extremely poor management skills.
My wife and I were at this hotel on 12/26/13-12/29/13. The stay was great until Saturday, 12/28/13. When we woke up, our room smelled like cigarette/marijuana smoke as if someone had been smoking in the hall way. We were on the second floor so the smoke was not coming from outside on the ground level. It became so strong that my wife and I left the room. My wife and I both have Government jobs and cannot risk any contact with marijuana smoke. When we got into the hall way, there was a hotel worker walking past and we brought this to their attention. They stated they would look into this and my wife and I left for the day. On the night of 12/28/13 we received our early check out sheet that was pushed under our hotel room door. When looking at this, there was a $250.00 charge in addition to our room fees/charges for a “Cleaning Charge!” When the front desk attendant was asked about this, she stated it was for the cigarette/marijuana smoke in our room. We were told to speak with Tracy on Monday, 12-30-13 but there was nothing this clerk could do. When the clerk was told WE were the ones that reported the smoke AND neither of us smoke ANYTHING, she again stated she could not help us but our credit card would be charged for the fee. Messages have been left requesting a return telephone call however none have been returned. Looking at our bank statement, this hotel did charge us the fee. We just want our hard earned money returned as we thought we were doing the right thing by bringing this to the attention of the hotel staff. We will NEVER stay at this chain of hotels due to the way the flex their muscle, take our money and have no explanation of why WE WERE CHARGED this fee?????
My husband booked us to the Elara Hilton Vacational Resort after watching a youtube video of one of the rooms, after watching this video we decieded to give them a TRY... DO NOT MAKE OUR SAME MISTAKE!! the first warning sign On the phone the lady assured and promised us we would get one of the top rooms floors (50-55) when we checked in they gave us floor 17 where we saw NOTHING BUT THE BACK OF PLANET HOLLYWOOD, I got to admit the lady who was checking us in was very nice and kind (Jenice)!! she is definatly working in the wrong hotel she belongs in the MGM family..... after being told that floor 17 was the only floor avaliable the manger Brent come out to talk to us and offered us a $25 credit to the room and said he would follow up with us if he heard anything....... We were not and do not wanted disscount sure they are nice but if we call and specifically want the TOP CORNER ROOM at which ever coast, and they promise it to us then i think we have all the right to be upset.... wait it gets WORST!, when we walk into our suite the carpet is torn here and there, the master bed room jacuzzi had hairs in it and WORST of ALL the bed was DIRTY with Higines (lipstick, probably blood,) when we call to order a new comfitor and bed sheets not only do they take 45 mins but they bring us the WRONG thing, so we call again and 1 hour and 45 minutes later we recieve our items, the next morning i had a rolls royce from the skylofts pick us up saying " lets go home". Never ever will i make the mistake of staying at a hilton.
Me and my wife have stayed at the doubletree at least a dozen times in the past few years, we've ran several events there, and have a monthly event. The staff has always been very helpful, they even helped me recover a lost Ipad that I left in the room. I enjoy every stay I make here and plan to stay many more times, in fact I think I have reservations there in the new future.
We will not return to this hotel. Our room was not cleaned and the desk staff not friendly or helpful. The bell boy broke our bottle of wine and was very rude. I have travelled extensively and have never been in a room where the room has not been vacuumed or the trash removed.
We're at the Hilton Midtown NY. Six night stay for a large tech conference. The room is nice, and it's comfortable. When we arrived the lady behind the desk said that we were "late" check ins. It wasn't even 9:30pm. Then she tried to say our room was gone and put us in something smaller. When my husband started getting annoyed she managed to find it finally. Imagine that. Thank you Darlene for starting our stay off with attitude. There's no coffee pot in the room, no fridge, no microwave. Even the cheapest hotels in the middle of Arkansas have these amenities! At almost $500 a night, what's up with that? We had to "rent" a microwave for $35 for the length of our stay. Seriously the worst part is not having a coffeepot! No, I do not want to pay the $15 minimum to order coffee from room service. No, I do not want to get up first thing in the morning, and walk across the street to Starbucks. Utterly ridiculous. Very disappointed.
Stayed on the executive floor. Views awesome.Breakfast Food in the executive lounge over the top: bacon sausage bagels and breads eggs and lots of fruit and other foods plus any type of coffee you could imagine. Yummy. The bar is so cozy and warm and inviting . Check in is extremely friendly and helpful. We only felt positives in all areas. They know how to make you feel good. Love it there and will return !!! I was a guest of this hotel September 11 and 12th. Have not commented until this date as I was awaiting to hear from the hotel direct inquiring as to my stay. Have not received anything. It cost me 80,000 HH points per night. Had the following concerns. Upon registering the front desk couldn't fine me reservation. Ordered a cheese platter for the room at time of booking. It was in the room refrigerator cheese crackers and all . One of the sinks in the bathroom was 99 % clogged. The room was never cleaned This is not a 4 diamond hotel and I plan to advise AAA they might want to evaluate their award program as this Hilton falls far short of the mark. I have had the privilege of staying in Hampton Inns that would put this Hilton to shame. What a waste of 160,000 points.
I called (909) 889-0133 trying to make reservations. Burnette answered my call, speaks broken English and does not understand English when I asked her to page the GM; she transferred me to an answering machine. I called back, Burnette did not transfer me to the GM, but to Kasy, another horrific clerical staff who heatedly argued with me and then slammed her phone to disconnect my call. I called back, Victor talked over me, and then Lori (front desk mgr) who refused to listen to the abusive service that I just experienced at Hilton. She slammed her phone to hung up on me. I called Hilton Worldwide Headquarters and am quite shocked to be treated the same hostility by C. Dominguez and M. Layfield of the guess assistants. These workers are full of hate that represents Hilton is quite appalling! My family, friends and I would not spend a dime at this outrageous and hostile place. Strongly NOT recommend this place to anyone!
I not only have the pleasure of working for Hilton Worldwide as a Corporate Team Member, but I am also a loyal Hilton customer. Even before I started working for the company, I can't remember any single stay I have experienced at a Hilton property that didn't live up to my expectations and customer service level standards. I will continue to support the Hilton branded properties due to my positive experiences over many years, and look forward to visiting many more of them in the future.
I'm an employee of Hilton Worldwide and am very happy to be working for one of my favorite hotel chains. We recently stayed at the Embassy Suites downtown Fort Worth and had an amazing time. From the moment we checked in, we were greeted with friendly, helpful staff. The rooms were huge and just really clean and well-kept. It was incredibly comfortable and had great views of downtown. The hotel itself is located in the heart of Sundance Square and you can walk to restaurants and shops nearby so it's very convenient if you're traveling without a car. They also give you free cocktails in the evening at their manager's reception and then in the morning, you get a complimentary breakfast too. Whatever you do, don't skip the omelette bar. These guys know how to cook an egg.
The staff at The Embassy Suites Ft Worth did a phenomenal job caring for our comfort, anticipating needs and ready with a genuine smile. Even one of my family member turned to me in the elevator and commented, 'wow, they were refreshingly nice!' I would recommend staying at this hotel for their customer service alone. Added bonus that it is located in the middle of downtown and an easy walk to Sundance Square and Bass Hall and all the great restaurants and fun spots. The rooms are modern, comfortable and well stocked.
First, full disclosure, I'm a Hilton employee at a different location. But my review would be the same even if I weren't -- it's a new hotel with striking contemporary decor (love the lobby especially). The room was great, and we especially loved the breakfast each morning (it's not free, but it's not expensive either and well worth it). The strawberry pancakes were beyond amazing; you must try them! Also the hotel is directly across from the Salomon Center where you can do indoor skydiving, indoor rock climbing, indoor surf/body boarding, and there's an arcade as well as a multiplex theater. Plus there are at least a dozen restaurants around, and so everything's within walking distance. Perfect for families!
We were visiting Granbury for our son's Regional Track meet, and chose the Hilton Garden Inn Granbury to stay overnight. We were greeted at the front desk with a smile, and recognized as a HHonors member, and team member - that was a very nice touch. The General Manager personally greeted us, and welcomed us to Granbury. Our rooms were clean, and the sleep system beds were very nice. This hotel has a great view of the lake, and a nice boardwalk around the hotel - my husband and I enjoyed a morning walk, looking out over the water. The breakfast was truly one of the best we've experienced. The chef was amazing - we enjoyed fresh pastries, and yummy eggs benedict. I would come back to this hotel just for the food! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and we had a pleasant stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Granbury area.
I travel frequently for work and really like the hhonors program. it's perfect for business travel as well as when i travel internationally for fun, since there are so many hilton properties around the globe!
I recently stayed at Hilton in Fort Worth downtown, and very much enjoyed the hotel. Lobby service was fast, and they were serving icy water with fresh lemon, cucumber, and strawberries on a hot summer day. I loved the historic feel of the building as well as its location being next to many restaurants and scenes. Will definitely stay at this Hilton when I'm back in town!
Whenever I travel, I am always on the look out to stay at a for a Hilton property. I've never had a bad experience at a Hilton property and am always impressed with their hospitality and cleanliness. As a Hilton Honors member, I've encountered exceptional customer service when making a reservation, during my stay, and after checking out. Hilton all the way!!
