I couldn't be happier!
The service provided by Homebuyer Online was brilliant! The survey was carried out on a Thursday and the report was waiting for me when I got back after the Bank Holiday Monday the following week! It was well written and all aspects had been covered to a high standard. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Fantastic service
Chose this company on the basis of other reviews on the site and wasn't disappointed. We were given a date for the survey within 24 hours of booking and received the report within 2 working days. The price was at least £200 cheaper than another local company. So please we chose to go with Homebuyer online.

Superbly helpful and very flexible
I bought a homebuyer survey for a prospective purchase in Ivybridge, Devon, which was carried out by a Surveyor from Saltash. The booking process was really easy and the instructions I gave were listened to and acted upon. I had a really fast turn-round need, as we are looking for a very tight conveyancing timescale at the buyers behest. The survey was booked and other than a 1 day reschedule, was carried quickly (within a week). The Surveyor called after the survey and provided the verbal results as I had asked and the report will be issued within another week. I am very happy with their actions and found their advice very helpful.

Clear and well written report.
The surveyor Stuart took my concern and instruction extra further in the homebuyer's report. It is very well written and delivered on time. Very pleased. Definitely recommend this company.

Excellent service! Don't be put off by the website!
Homebuyers website was recommended by a friend and I was a bit dubious because of the fact that you just input your details in the website without actually speaking to anyone. My nervousness was not needed because they contacted me immediately to confirm who my surveyor would be and the survey was carried out within 4 working days of registering with homebuyer. The survey completed is of a really high standard and has been really informative and helpful and was with us three days after the survey was completed. Would highly recommend for future home buyers!!!

Perfect – no reservations, I would recommend this company to anyone.
Very detailed report - clearly explained - highlighted some issues with electrics and gas. I spoke to the surveyor who took the time to explain everything. Will probably save us a couple of thousand pounds on works we will have to have done!

No Communication with actual surveyor
Asked to be present during inspection, I live next door to the house I'm buying! No knock or courtesy call. Very standard service

Quick to survey slow to report
The surveyor was straight out to the property the following day. He rang and informed me of his findings and that he would be writing the report in the next couple of days. It took a week before we had the report to hand. I still think they offer an excellent service and would definitely use them again.

Excellent service - highly recommended
Completely altered our views of what we (wrongly) thought would be a long, drawn-out process that costs a lot of money just to receive a document that you cannot make head-nor-tail of.......this could not be further from truth.
The whole process took less than a week - we booked and paid on a Thursday, had a surveyor assigned the following day along with confirmation that the report would be carried out the following Monday, and received the completed report 2 days after the survey was done.
The report is clear, informative and easy-to-read - it's highlighted areas that we are now ensuring are completed by the vendor prior to exchanging contracts, so it has saved us money from having to rectify problem areas ourselves.....money that can now be better spent on furnishings and decorating!
And to top it all off, they came in as the cheapest - we got 4 different quotes, 2 of which were from local estate agents, and they were cheaper by £100 - £200.
An excellent service - we would highly recommend them.

Clear as crystal
Informative and easy to understand,also the cheapest quote i could find online.
Also kept in touch all the time even when gaining access to the property was tricky at times.

Great value and super fast service!
Did an online quote for the homebuyers survey and this came as cheaper than any other surveyor we had received quotes from. Ordered service on a Tuesday and received the report by Friday. I know the surveyor had contacted the agent on Wednesday for access. The report was carried out by a local chartered surveyor, the report was very detailed and just what we needed to reassure us and gave us points to question the vendor. Can't fault the service.

an excellent service removing one more headache from the moving process
Shortly after ordering online the surveyor made contact by email to personally introduce himself and confirm when he would carry out the work and have the report uploaded for me to see. Both were done quickly and efficiently. Very pleased with the service.

Quick allocation of surveyor, but one week on after the survey still waiting for report. This should be quicker.
Report should be quicker, as in this day and age with the internet, it should be received within 48 hours.

Good Price, but slow
I have used homebuyer online for 2 different properties in the last few months as they are very competetive with the price. Only gripe i have is that the surevyour was very slow completing my report on the first occasion and i am still waiting for him to send me my second survey which will be nearly 1 week since he attended the property. So in summary they need to keep a better eye on thier Surveyors as they can be very slow and i'm sure i will recieve some excuse as i did the first time.

Cannot Fault
Survey was completed just 4 working days after ordering. Was downloaded to the day after survey completed. Gave me all the info I needed to know. Was £150 cheaper than the last survey I had done on another property recently. Would definitely use again.

Excellent value and prompt service
This is the second Homebuyer's report ordered though Homebuyer Online, and once again, the quality of the report was excellent. The only reservation was that different surveyors have different SLAs for producing the reports (first took 48 hours, second took 4 days), but they both produced a quality report within their own SLA.
I'd recommend this service to anyone looking to purchase a new house. The reports are easy to digest and the website is very easy to use.

Outstanding Service
A very prompt and efficient service. I had a surveyor appointed within 24 hours and a survey available to me within a week. The surveyor made imself available to discuss his comments etc. I would absolutely recommend this service to anyone wanting a survey undertaking quickly and efficently at a competitve price. The opportunity to understand the costs in advance and the content of each type of urvey is another great feature. Top service!

Outstanding service
I was nervous about using an online survey company, but I need not have worried. I ordered a survey and within a couple of hours the surveyor had been assigned and he had arranged the survey appointment. The surveyor was extremely efficient and was in direct contact with me regularly. The report was very well laid out, easy to read and gave useful infirmation. Really trustworthy and honest
I was a bit skeptical about getting a survey as all the people (including estate agents) said it's really not worth it, the surveyor will briefly look round the house and tell you things you already know and if the bank are willing to lend you the money then it will be fine. Because the house we were buying had had some structural work done on it I decided to get one anyway as it was playing on my mind (we are first time buyers). I called Homebuyer online just for some advice really, Hugh was so thorough and really took the time to talk to me about the process. He really pulled the stops out for us as we needed a survey done the following day. He was again so thorough and really knowledgeable and gave us really good advice. In short it just goes to show that all surveyors are not the same. Really nice guy who knows his business!

Accessible, efficient service
Hugh Greenhouse was our surveyor and his report was clear, concise and covered all areas of concern that we had previously highlighted.
He was readily available to answer queries and took the time to answer separate queries that we had raised in an email.
All in all, I would definitely recommend Homebuyer Online - charges were reasonable too.

One Click to a Homebuyer Report
The report contained useful information on the positive and negative aspects of purchasing the property. The survey was carried out within a week of ordering it and the cost for the report.was resonable. I would recommend Homebuyer Online on reasonable cost, speed and good service.

Efficient, hassle-free, value for money
This is an excellent service which involves the minimum of time and hassle. If you need a Homebuyers Guide then I really don't think you need to look beyond this website. We received our report on-line on the afternoon of the surveyors's visit to the property.

First Class Service
I thoroughly recommend this service the detailed report I received was detailed and was invaluable in making a decision as whether to purchase a new property.A very slick and efficient Company to deal with virtually everything is done on line however you always have the reassurance of telephone access to the Head Office and the Surveyor who is allocated for your inspection.Certainly very useful if like me you live 130 miles away from a possible new home.

Excellent service.
I was really happy to find this website as I was beginning to think surveys were a waste of money. But after I spoke to Hugh I felt reassured as he took time to go through things with me before the survey and again afterward. The survey report contained lots of useful information about the house and the long term maintenance issues. I would defintely reccommend using this service.

Not impressed.
Firstly we booked and paid for the house survey on line on 21st November 2012, we received no communication as advertised as to when the survey would be carried out. I rang and left messages on 2 x seperate occasions and eventually i received a call back to say they were struggling to carry out the task and did i want my money back, or if i gave them a day or two they would hopefully find a surveyor.
Well i received no replay only for my wife to receive a call from the surveyor saying he would carry out the task on 3rd Dec 2012 at 10.00am, if he found anything that would be an issue in terms of purchasing the property he would call her before he submitted his report.
We heard nothing, so due to the fact that we wanted to complete the purchase but obviously concerned about the survey she rang they surveyor, left a message and finally received a call back on 4th December, indicating some issues but said we would receive his report on 6th Dec, time will tell !!
We paid alot of money for this service and i feel we have received a very poor service and customer care is non existent to say the least.

Excellent service
Homebuyer online is a great idea. It took the stress out of finding a surveyor and at least in my case was very quick: I found the website on a Sunday, the survey was done on the Tuesday, and I had the report on the Thursday.

Homebuyers report brings us peace of mind.
We ordered our homebuyers survey on the 16 th October and the survey was carried out on the 19th October, with the report ready on the 23rd October. The report was well written and it pointed out 1 urgent problem and a couple of minor problems. We would recommend the service, it was of a reasonable price, which has brought us peace of mind.

Brilliant, fast & helpful.
Wow, brilliant service. Submitted an online quote, was given a courtsey call. Ordered online one evening, advised the next morning that a surveyor had been assigned and would be visiting the property the next day. Report good standard and delivered online very quickly after the visit. Thoroughly recommended.

Homebuyer online was great. I was sceptical at first as its an online service but I spoke to someone in the company and was happy with the response. And the assigned surveyor was brilliant. 100% Fantastic!
Everything about using Homebuyer Online was perfect. I called all around for survey quotes speaking with an arrey of surveyors who were generally expensive and difficult. Homebuyer Online was so efficient and helpful. And not to mention a lot cheaper than everywhere else. We needed our survay done in a hurry and they made it all happen. We've already recommended them to our friends who are also buying a house right now.
