We have been told for two days now that the mattress is being delivered "today". Neither day has it come. The first day the courier phoned me to say 'there was no flat number' on the order and he had already left; I asked him to phone the next day before arrival so I could leave work to come for delivery. This afternoon I took the call, was in the flat within ten minutes, but after waiting 45 minutes, nobody came. I could not get through to the courier despite ringing many times, and in the end left a voicemail to say that I had to return to work. I was unable to get through to anyone at the delivery office, but will be trying to phone them in the morning. Neither time has any note been left to say that someone has come to deliver and I haven't been there.
As you can understand this is a very frustrating situation, especially considering we ordered the mattress almost a week ago.
I ordered a 'super king size' bed online with these guys, and when I placed the order it duplicated the order a further two times, resulting in my card being charged three times in total.
I initially rang my credit card company, but rang Home Furnishings afterwards, and they just sorted it out no bother, refunding my card straight the way.
My bed turned up next morning on their free next day delivery service, and the driver was a really nice guy who helped me to get it up to my first floor apartment.
Oh.....and the bed is amazing!!
All in all very happy with the service, and yes, I would most certainly recommend them to other online shoppers.
