Clean, friendly and a great location
We stayed here for 6 nights, it was clean, spacious and the beds are really comfortable! Excellent location, would defiantly stay here again and recommend to friends. The staff are really friendly and always happy to help especially gabe!

HouseTrip - a practical solution to finding foreign accommodation
My friend and I stayed in Barcelona for a week and decided to book via Housetrip which is staying in individual rooms let my a house owner as opposed to staying in a hotel. I thought it was a great solution to the problem as hotels are expensive and you are limited to your room only. At the flat where we stayed although theroom itself was small, we could use all the rooms in the flat so could also use the kitchen for preparing food, and we could sit out on the small terrace, and be in the living room in the evening. As you are booking with an individual who lives in the area, they know what is on (ie we went to a local fiesta (not a tourist place) but was just on for a few days and so saw original flamenco dancing etc). Would definitely try House Trip again.

Way to get great holiday accommodation at great price!
I found Housetrip via search engine when looking for places to stay in Amsterdam. One of my priorities was to find something really nice but at a decent price as the funds available varied greatly between all the people going on holiday. Housetrip accommodation fitted the bill completely. As I was unused to the site, I used my credit card to pay for the holiday as this offers me some protection. However, it wasn't needed! My host and I were in touch about a number of matters and the whole process from making enquiry to going on holiday went very well.. I would have no hesitation in using Housetrip again, although they need to be careful when promoting something as "entire", because our houseboat wasn't, it was a semi detached houseboat and that caused a bit of a problem one night with noisy neighbours and no sound insulation between the properties. Overall though I am very pleased am already using the website to look at other places we could holiday together.

Great way to find a place to stay ANYWHERE.....
Working our way around Europe as a couple it was important to find reasonably priced accommodation.... We found that the property's on housetrip were cheaper than most hotels and hostels for the time of year..... The hosts have so far been great and would recommend to anybody...

Very helpful
House trip very very helpful when booking and afterwards at helping us to contact our hosts. They also helped use to sort out the international phone codes.
Their web site is good at keeping you informed and helps you communicate via e-mail with your host.

Customerfriendly is every possible way!
Dear reader,
I came across HousTrip by chance and am very happy I did.
The whole process of finding a suitable place to stay (website) thru booking, personal contact with an employee from HouseTrip (as well as the fact that I had a choice to speak to somebody in my own language) and being kept up-to-date on the progress through Emails ... perfect!

We will absolute use House Trip again
Looking for an apartment in Paris for 2 elder couples, we found House Trip very informative and easy to use. It's a good idea that you get a description of your host, and can contact your host for further questions as extra keys, arrival and departure time etc.
Having contact to a named person in House Trip - not only an agency - made us confident to book a private residence in Paris.
We will with pleasure contact House Trip for our next holiday and recommend it to anyone.

Perfect family house at a perfect location in Normandy
Perfect house, very light and fully equipped. Perfect for a family with children, lots of toys. Very quiet location near Caen is superbe to make day visits to for example the D-Day beaches or romantic cities with beautiful churches or just drive through the beautiful meadows.

Mis-connect corrected & refunded
Two HouseTrip reservations made: Barcelona & Rome. After being unable to contact Barcelona Host and incomplete address, my concerns were addressed by HouseTrip staff, res. cancelled, payment refunded promptly allowing me to make Hotel reservation instead. But, Rome reservation worked fine, including pre-trip Host contact. Will use HouseTrip again and do recommend it.

Nice place to stay and catch subway trains easily.
This is a house with 5 bedrooms. Nice owner, he helps whenever we talk with him. This place is nearby Fresh pond subway station. 5mins walk. Its not easy to drive in Newyork and parking is really hectic over there. The subway station can connect many places and its easy to access.

Highly recommend this apartment.In such a peacful area ,with beautiful view and yet not too far from the main city Split.Host and her family such a wonderful people! and Croatia is the most beautiful country i have seeing.We hope to come back soon!Greetings to lovely host and her family!!!

I found using HouseTrip to be a very easy way to find an apartment in another country. Their site was very easy to use and you were able to contact the owners and get replies back in a very easy fasion. I would recommend using HouseTrip to anyone trying to book a vacation rental.

Good Aparment in Paris
We have holiday trip to Paris with family. Thanks for your help. Apartment was good, what we wanted. We were with children(two adults and three children), 27th April - 4th May 2013. We are very glad our choise.

HouseTrip is really worth using for visiting Paris
HouseTrip has lots of properties and dealt well with my booking. The apartment I stayed in was chosen for its location and the price, which I think was very good. It wasn't luxury but was perfectly adequate to our needs.
I will definitely use House Trio again next time I go to Paris.

A great alternative to hotels and get a more authentic experience.
This service works better than I expected. We have used it to reserve apartments in two different cities, and both went very smoothly, with us renting places at better prices, better locations, and more character than a room in a hotel. Highly recommend trying it!

This is the way to travel.

I am somewhat suspicious towards internet providers of international services as I had some bad experiences in the past. The service House Trip provided me in all the levels of the deal was fare, precise with no hidden articles which sometimes comes as a surprise when one close a deal in the internet. A True, Calming Jem!
I found staying here was so calming after a busy visit in Rome. The streets were very quiet. The apartment had wonderful views from the balconies. I loved having a washing machine, as I could cut my packing in half! The supermarket was nice and close. Bus to Florence was quick! Being on outskirt of Florence, getting to Chianti country did not take long! Paula knew a lot about Florence and the area. She was so pleasant, and made sure everything was perfect for us! Love, love, loved it!
