I would recommend this service to anyone. My only reservation is that my reviews of the actual meals delivered have not yet appeared despite, on the whole, being positive.

Easy to use, easy to pay, just right for lazy me!

I have found the Hungryhouse website easy to use and there are so many choices of take-aways in my area. I also like the order accepted email so I am kept up to date with what is happening.
The only problem I had was once was when their website decided not to pass on to the shop my special request and the delivery time!
I do like to give written reviews but find they can sometimes take weeks to show on the take-away's review page.

Have used Hungry House many times and as yet it has never let me down.Simple to use, great choice of places to order from. Service is always prompt and you can check your order at all times. Have been offered a discount a few times which always comes in handy

A godsend

Where has Hungry House been all my life? For Deaf and Hard of Hearing people, calling for a takeway has either been impossible or very difficult (most busy takeways put the phone down if you call via a relay service!).

The great thing about the site is that it remembers your previous bookings and meals and keeps track of your spending all the way.

Give it a try next time you want to treat yourself.

Really handy way to order food for home delivery

I've use Hungryhouse a few times now and mostly the service has been brilliant. The only issues I have had have been with the website itself . The first time I used it it took me a while to get it right. The second time was a lot better. The third time the website was not working properly - a fact that was not made clear until I had spent about 20 minutes trying to place an order. When I got as far as the final step it just froze and eventually gave me the message that there was a fault. I used it again for the first time yesterday and was delighted with how fast the system had begun. Almost as if I was using a new computer (which I wasn't). I will happily continue to use the site as it is more convenient than phoning, especially during busy times.

Excellent Service, 5 star!

Have been using Hungry house for quite some time and was never disappointed. Many different of choices and never had any problems with the restaurants they use. A variety of cuisines and payments makes it easy from start to finish.

Good concept but food company's let you down

I have ordered a lot of food from hungry house web site and I have been disappointed with the quality of the food on many occasions hungry house need to up there game by getting good take always on your books and get rid of the rubbish ones , until that time I'm steering clear of your web site

Easy to use and never any problems.

Easy to use, handy when you have no cash in the house. The only down side is the limited options in my area.

because you keep your restaurants up to date it means I don't have to go trawling for what takeaways are available in my area. choosing the dishes is easy and there are enough options so we can get each person's how they want it

A student's best friend

By showing the opening hours and including multiple takeaways who are open late at night is exactly what a student needs. Too many times have I found myself, or one of my flatmates, craving a pizza or some chicken at 2am. This website has enabled us to find what we want with no hassle.

Always spot on

I've never had a problem with them. The sites easy to use, the payment system is straight forward and I always go to them now when I want a take away.

Not as easy to use as some competitors

The overall website experience, in particular filtering/finding a restaurant to order from is not as smooth as that offered by Just Eat.

It's easy and quick to order. Food is rated by others and that helps to choose where you want to order from. Company reliable. Nice to deal with.

I was hungry, I clicked, 20 mins later he food arrived. I ate, I enjoyed. Simple and it works.

rubbish

Web site kept crashing wondered if my order was taken as it would not let me know as connection kept failing. Went to JUSTEAT.CO.UK ordered of there no problem then the next thing I know is I had to pay for 2 x takeaways no good not likely to use again not a happy chappy at all

very good

I've use the service three times, and all of the times its brilliant.

Working well for me so far

I have only recently started using Hungry House and so far so good. Unlike some other services the same, HH don't charge you more than the regular prices for each item.

I like that you get an email when the order is accepted at the restaurant so you know order has arrived and been seen at your restaurant.

One downside, where I live it only shows one place to order from, unlike another well known provider. Luckily where I wish to buy from is the one showing. Maybe more recruiting is required.

Great to be able to see other peoples reviews, where is open, delivery charges, all the information we need

I never fail to find a new restaurant to try

The takeaway advice and information is very clear and I always make a good choice since signing up to the website.

Had a dozen deliveries so far and not a single glitch...

Had a dozen or so deliveries from a range of local take-aways in the SE13 area of London and have yet to have a single problem. One order was slightly delayed but that was not the fault of hungryhouse.co.uk and they kept me informed all the way... :-)

SPEEDY QUICK CONVENIENT

This site provides quick easy way to order takeaway without having to find phone numbers and hassle with ppl to get what u want with ur food. Works for me as I can order dinner and by the time I gt home voila. It's there.

Disadvantage : no discounts for loyalty!

We've used HH to order from our favurite local Indian restaurant and so far we've never really had a problem and we'll continue to use them.

not the best

the app crashed so often it took over and hour to actually place the order. It refused one card several times until I had to use another. please note there is nothing wrong with this card. the food was late, they'd forgotten an item, they'd ignored the special requests we'd added.

this is probably the worst experience we have had with hungry house to date and we've been using it for a year at least. the service seems to be getting worse

Straightforward site - does what it says on the tin

I have ordered a few times from hungaryhouse and I have never had any problem either accessing the website or navigating around it. It also has just the right amount of feedback to give you confidence that your order has been taken correctly and transmitted to the take-away correctly. I will certainly be using it again in the future.

great easy to use website.

They have a mobile site as well as full site which others do not have. Its quick and easy to order and they only give you open take aways which can confuse you when other sites just list them all.

Very good and always use

Used this app several times, I made an order to be delivered at 9pm and they said they will make sure the restaurant gets the order at 7pm which they did and my order was on time. Everytime I fancy a takeout I use this app. Very good don't think I have had a problem with this app yet.

Great when it works, terrible if it doesn't! A bit more bad than good...

As previous reviews have said, Hungryhouse is as only good as the take-away you order from. I've ordered from them quite a lot as I live in Birmingham and find myself blessed with an abundance of take-aways.
The good:
When it works, it is fast and easy, you can pay online and the food arrives without you having to get cash or talk to someone on the phone.
The bad:
I've had a couple of appalling experiences with individual restaurants and Hungryhouse were impossible to contact and/or get an individualized response from.
If you complain to Hungryhouse, they will blame the restaurant.
If you order for timed delivery, Hungryhouse will not send you request to the restaurant until 15 minutes before your scheduled time....I've never had a timed delivery arrive at the scheduled time and when I complained, restaurant/Hungryhouse just blamed each other.
You cannot order something for collection and pay for it online, which we hate since our favourite Chinese is only a three minute walk away.
You do pay a credit cart fee variable by restaurant.
Reviews for restaurants are skewed....I have won a £25 credit for writing an "exemplary" and helpful review but any negative one I have written has been buried or does not appear in full with the restaurant's other reviews so take them with a grain of salt.

Easy, convenient and time saving

I have never had any problems ordering with Hungryhouse. My orders have always been accepted and delivered in good time. I know this may be down to the individual restaurant but Hungryhouse must been keeping them in check. Well done and keep up the good work.

Brilliant service, have never faulted it

Always very quick and effecient service, if the restaurant ever gives me any problems hungryhouse have refunded me or in the case of one of the delivery men who was harassing me and calling me on the number I provided hungryhouse took them down off of the site and spoke to the manager to prevent the delivery man from calling me further. They really do go beyond being just a place to order food, they really value their customers

Great idea, not enough takeaways subscribed in my area

Love the concept, love the fact that you can view the menu and make selections and place the order online. Delivery times I have found to be too long, is that the takeaway or hungry house??

The only criticism is that there are only three takeaways to choose from in my town despite their being 20+ takeaways. This means that there is also a very limited choice, basically Chinese or Indian. Please sign up more alternatives.
