Easy to use their website and food was delivered quickly.

Worked a charm food on time hot and correct order. What's not to like.

poor service and difficult to complain other than be email.

Dreadful..the system often gets the order wrong. When your order arrives and it's wrong, it's usually because the system they use had gone wrong. Very difficult to get though when you call the 0800 number I waited 20 mins and gave up in the end.

Excellent customer service

I had a bad experience with a restaurant (entirely their fault, nothing to do with the intermediary), and the guy I spoke to in customer service (Oliver) was absolutely lovely, really apologetic and sorted it out immediately. If I was reviewing the restaurant it would be a very different story... but Hungryhouse themselves were brilliant.

The payment system refused my entirely valid card

I tried to pay by card and it was refused - even though I had used in onsite before. I called my bank who said there was no problem with my card. I re-ordered as a guest rather than a member and my card was again refused. I was forced to go with the pay cash option and then go out in the rain to use THE SAME CARD to draw cash from an ATM. This card issue has happened more than once and I now feel that it is a waste of time using HungryHouse

Useful site

I like Hungry House, the site can be fiddly to use and the app I used for the 1st time yesterday was a bit fiddly too,however it won't put me off using it again.

Useful - Sometimes frustrating though

This is a useful service. Like the way timeslots can be booked, and the fact the whole menu with accurate pricing is at your fingertips. Here are my negatives:
1. Sometimes the menu system in the app is a bit confusing, leading you to exit right out and start again.
2. Don't like the way some restaurants charge 50p for a debit card. They wouldn't do it on the phone or in person, so why in the app?
3. Card payment is over complex. Having to load your account, and then spend it is cumbersome. Why can't CC details be saved, or how about Paypal?

Great for those night in and you don't want to cook.

Brilliant website, just write in your post code and all you ever want is there in your area.
Quick delivery and good service, value for money too. I would recommend this to anyone.

Good idea, good site.

I work in education and have designed a number of web sites for different E-commerce solutions. If I had been involved in Hungry House then I would have done it the same way, at least in this first phase.

Next phase developments need to include discounts for repeat visitors and loyalty or rewards specials that only repeat users can access...or it will soon wear thin and competitors will overtake.

I like hungryhouse a lot and I get cashback whenever I use them because I'm a member of this website www.happypockets.co.uk that and their good service keeps me coming back. Justeat was annoying as Iwould often mke oders that would get rejected because they were too far. Thats never happened with hungryhouse

Doesn't work as well as it should.

If i could I would give it 2.5 stars - when it works, it works well; when it doesn't, it's pretty annoying. Great idea but both Hungryhouse and Just-Eat don't always live up to their promises.

No reply from customer care and late orders. DO THEY REALY CARE??

It took 2 hours for our food to arrive after trying to call customer care promised to sort out and voucher will be delivered with food nothing of a sort. Send complained to there email no one has responded or tried to contact us......................

So is that the service leve of this company? l I can understand the food part is out of there hands but they not responding to complaints and doing as they said they would.

Thats the sad part!!!

Very Useful Website.

We had just moved to a new area and did not know who to order from.
I've tried to order through the internet before and had nothing but grief with transactions failing when it comes to the payment processing page and not knowing if the order had taken place or not. We found the Hungryhouse website efficient and robust enough not to mess you and for introducing us to our new Chinese takeaway. Thank you.

Good enough

some Chinese food is a little expensive, but the hungryhouse helps a lot for me .

better than just eat!!

i was on just eat for a while and i have to say they are rubbish.... it asks for your postcode and searches for take away's near you yes? so why did my orders get turned down cause they were to far away... turns out just eat cant work a map, since i have started to just hungry house, i have not had one problem!

Have used Hungryhouse a few times now. The layout is easy to navigate which decent search engine enabling me to find what i am after.
Very well laid out and easy to use. Glad i started to use it.

No complaints, No bad exspirences, No lateness, No letdowns

I've ordered from Hunryhouse a number of time now. Because i was let down by a similar site (justeat.co.uk) Who was a Yes to all in the topic.
But Hungry house is a nice site simple to navigate. You know your order as gone through. And mine as always arrived on time by polite driver who actually says something.
Will keep ordering from hungryhouse again and again.
All in all a great site i would highly recommend.

Does what it says on the tin

The choice of cuisine is baffling and often makes my head hurt. They don't tend to listen to "special requests" so just pick from the menu and wait for it to arrive (within the given time frame).

50% of orders turn up late

I've ordered 6 times through Hungryhouse, and 3 times the food has arrived late. Not exactly what they promise in the adverts!

A great way to get takeaway delivered

Although I have only used for one restaurant currently I am planning on using for others as the site is so easy to use and ordering is so easy to do when you have had a long day and just can't be bothered to cook or go out for dinner.

Simple, Quick and Easy

I've had no problems with Hungry house and have used them at least 10 times in a short period of time. The website is very user friendly, a great selection of takeaways and the delivery times are as stated.

Will definitely be using hungry house again!

Can't deliver on time

Ordered a takeaway from good earth express in Wimbledon at 8pm and given a time slot until 9.20. Called restaurant at 9.20 and told it would be another 15 minutes. This service seems totally pointless if it can't do what it says on the tin. Won't bother again. Would have been quicker to go to the supermarket, buy food and cook it. Maybe that's the lesson. Hungry House living up to the name in all the wrong ways.

Multiple let downs

I've used Hungryhouse a lot and usually have a decent experience. However, twice now my order has been cancelled because the affiliated restaurants don't respond. Cancellation takes 20 minutes to be done, then they only email you so if you don't happen to be sitting at your computer you are unaware. Therefore, by time you've ordered elsewhere, you've lost nearly an hour, which is pretty annoying when you're hungry.

I contacted Hungryhouse to complain and their response never came. I only ever use Justeat now, with whom I've never had any problems.

Makes ordering food easy

I've used Hungryhouse a few times, although on this occasion I was disappointed to see that my favourite restaurant was "Temporarily Unavailable".
However, the ordering process was quick and easy as ever and the food was delivered well within the quoted window.

Efficient, on time and easy to use. Listed resturants generally supply good food and are friendly when delivering

The perfect place to find food, no needs to know all the restaurants around

Every time I want to get some food to be delivered home I'm going on hungry house, it is really easy to order and to filter. I never had surprised on the price, the review system helps me to find the best places.

I would definitely recommend hungry house and use it again.

Brilliant service

Awful customer service

Ordered a takeaway on Friday and it was cancelled within 10 minutes. The reason given via email was due to payment problems. This was incorrect. There were NO payment problems.

When this was followed up 4 days later, with customer service, I was told the reason was because I was black listed in June 2012. NO reason for this was given. NO apology for this random black listing. They still took my money and now I am chasing this up with them.

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.

First class take away always enjoy our meals from Hungry House.

We love using Hungry House as the food is always excellent. I really like their Malaysian curry and I more than happy just to have chips with this. The sweet and sour chicken is great too; you get big pieces of chicken and the sweet and sour sauce is good too. If you like pancake rolls the Hungry House large pancake roll is lovely; however we always share one between the two of us.
Thanks for the excellent food and service and last but by no means least the person that delivers the orders is really nice too. With much appreciation Tim

not good

ordered food at 5.10 online..... food did not arrive called the restaurant at 6.40 they claim not to have received my order but i did get a order comfirmed ... after 2 hours of calling hungry house finally spoke with dominic who was helpfull but to late !!!!!!!! 8.05 food has just arrived and been turned away...... dominic at hungry house has comfirmed a full refund for me .... but that doesnt help the fact that im hungry

Took TWO payments & left me in DIRE STRAIGHTS!!!

Was horrified to find that TWO payments had been taken for my recent order to Hungry House , now yes e-mail of apology sent to me explaining it would be back in my account in 3 working days BUT I am on INCOME SUPPORT & on a VERY limited budget so to treat myself to a take away is a rarity and of real importance to me as in quality of food and service as I don't have money to waste!!!!

The meal itself was dire , I had to wait nearly 2 hours for it and it was cold on arrival & the delivery driver had a car parked outside my door with around 3 other guys in it at 1am with me in my nightclothes & I felt VERY uncomfortable & find this to be extremely unprofessional plus like I said the food was dire anyway but my issue is the EXTRA £10.80 which was taken from my account was actually for MY ELECTRICITY for over the weekend!!!!!!!!!

So to find that money GONE from my account meant I had NO money for my electricity for over the weekend and my electricity ran out this morning ( I had used the emergency credit ) so I was panicking of course and I cannot even DESCRIBE the hassle I went through to borrow money to put on my meter and actually spent my Saturday afternoon in tears thanks to Hungry House and it is NOT just about an e-mail of apology and a refund of my money in 3 working days as it is of no use to me when it was my money for my electricity for over the weekend! :-(

User-friendly online takeaway service

I've never had any problems using this service. A wide range of takeaway restaurants are available in our area, covering all the cuisines you could wish for. I like being able to look at the menu online as we don't always get them through the door. It encourages me to try something different from time to time. Payment can be made by card or cash. The only gripe is that offers usually only work with card payment, and there's often a card surcharge from the restaurant.
Other than that, good service.

There has been plenty of times when a takeaway night is in need, but I've had no cash and can't leave the kids or take them out in the cold, so having Hungry House online with easy access is fab, I can pay using my card with the cash option too. I also like Hungry House because the special offers and deals they are constantly doing unlike Just Eat!!
