Extremely efficient service and competetive price
I recently purchased a Kenwood chef from Hurst and Son, I was absolutely delighted with the service . I placed my order on Sunday evening after researching prices and which model to buy. At 9.30 Monday morning I received a telephone call to discuss a point regarding my order, I didn't feel I was talking to an impersonal call centre but really someone who was involved with the business and knew the product. My Chef was delivered on Tuesday morning, I can't think of anything that would have improved the service. I will definitely use Hurst anf sons again

Fantastic service
I ordered a coffee machine through the company and the item arrived two days after the order had been placed. When I ordered the item the delivery time given was 3-5 days so the service provided was fantastic. Would definitely use this company again. Also got a very good price on the coffee machine.

Hurst is first in my opinion
Went for this model as recommended by Which magazine. I also have matching kettle.
The build quality put others in the same price bracket to shame.
As we use Warburton's Toastie Bread which is large in dimensions it will fit in sideways.

The cheapest and the best.
Excellent service and very swift delivery, in fact I wasn't going to be at home the day you wanted to deliver and changing the day was no problem at all. Delivery time 3.05-4.05pm, arrival of goods was 3.10pm - brilliant.

"Amazing shopping experience"
Can't recommend this department store enough..!! Very nice helpful staff on the end of the telephone when I called for product availability. They were the cheapest for the product I was ordering as I researched google for weeks.
Delivery was lightning fast too with step by step progress texts and emails so I knew exactly where my item was all the time with a 2 hour delivery slot by text.
I will definitely buy from this department store again and would recommend anyone to give them a try..!!!

Pleasantly Surprised
I confess I had never heard of the company before I went looking for a food processor on Google Shopping. So, when I found it on this site at the cheapest price, I was bit nervous. However, I ordered the product and it arrived a couple of days later. An added bonus was the one-hour time slot given for the delivery. You can't get more convenient than that! Excellent.

This service could not be better - just what i like!
This service was great! No more than what we should expect really but i can't remember the last time i had such a good service. I even had a text giving me three options to change the delivery arrangements and an option to do nothing if i was happy! Oh, and a one hour time slot which they stuck to. If one company can do it so can everybody but these days it's usually a 12 hour time slot or at best am or pm. This couldn't be faulted, i'd give them a go every time - and the product was the best priced too.

Excellent customer service
I ordered a fruit juicer and when I received it, I realised I should have bought a more expensive one. Trevor was a real gentleman and did not dispute my desire to return it. In fact, he did not even ask me to return the item - he said to keep it as a gesture of good will. It has now gone to a hospice shop and we ended up buying another fruit juicer elsewhere but I would use W Hurst again if they stocked an item we wanted.

Fast and Convenient Delivey
I ordered a food processor just afer Christmas and expected it to take the full quota of days to arrive. Instead, I received it within 3 days, one of which was a Bank Holiday. I received text messages notifying the time and date of delivery, and giving me the option to change it. Brilliant service.

Amazing on-time delivery !
I placed an order and was advised by email that it would be delivered by DPD courier between 11.26 and 12.26 on Friday 18th January. By the time 11.30 came there were 3 inches of snow on the ground and there was traffic chaos being reported on most roads.
I checked DPD's website using the tracking number provided and there was a general notice that due to the severe weather conditions most deliveries would be delayed by a day.
At 12.15 there was a knock at my door and lo and behold the DPD man was there with my delivery !
Truly amazing effort and greatly appreciated - well done !!

COMPETITIVE SUPER SERVICE
Fast response to my order & after delivery the item (dyson heater) did not
perform as dyson describes. After contacting yourselves I returned the item
& was reimbursed very quickly.

Good service, rapid delivery, minor communication issue
Overall good service and very happy.
Only complaint is that I had to chase up the order status as they forgot to inform me that they were awaiting a new assignment of the product which was ordered.
However they send it out next day and that was great.
Would use again.

Excellent local business
We ordered some indoor steps and the order was delivered on the day they said with very little hassle. The only moan we have is that the website is a little tricky to persuade buyers they are local, i.e Isle of Wight delivery is free to Isle of Wight residents, but you have to change the Uk location to achieve this - in our view a bit ponderous. Apart from that, W Hurst is one of our favourite shops and we always go there first for household stuff. The staff in all the Island stores are very helpful and efficient.

Great all round service
Before purchasing a Magimix 3200XL from. Hurst IW I emailed them to ask a question and got a prompt reply almost immediately which is top class customer service in my book, I then ordered said item which arrived a day or so after. I was kept informed about delivery & told within an hour when it would arrive.

Excellent prompt service & Great product
Bought a Magimix Citiz & Milk machine to replace my Tassimo coffee machine. Really simple to use & the coffee has a more superior taste than any of the coffees I have tried before, You just need to be careful how much milk you put in the Aeroccino as the pressure will lift its lid off. I have found that skimmed milk froths really well - enjoy.

Service Above Expectations!
It was the competitive price of the James Martin Stellar 3 piece knife set that first caught my eye on a web search.After placing the order I was emailed about 3 times to update me about progress & finally a text message advising of delivery.Initially the price of the postage relative to the cost of knives I thought was a lot.On reflection it was worth every penny as it was both rapid & very informative,DPD advised me via the website when to expect the order including a time estimate within a 1 hour window.This was a very pleasant shopping experience courtesy of a company with old fashioned principles ie,putting the customer 1st & offering a superb service - thank you!
