A really excellent service for our First with Hurst!
This was our first order with Hurst. The price was excellent and the order was shipped quickly. On the delivery day we were told within an hour when the courier would arrive. Really impressed with price and service and would definitely try Hurst first in future!

Pleasurable, efficient, painfree shopping.
From ordering my toaster online, and at a very good price, I was kept informed by email of packing & delivery progress. The item arrived quickly, securely packed to protect against damage which was reassuring. My only reservation was that the enclosed guarantee form, to be posted back, was clearly well out of date: this is now 2013, and the form referred to a competition which closed at the end of 2008. That apart, I'm delighted with the toaster, which is working brilliantly, and very pleased with it's design and solid build.

Faultless Service
First time I have used Hurst Iw and I found that the service was excellent. Good communications which kept me informed on the status of the delivery, which was very quick. Product was much cheaper than other stockists. So very pleased!

Fantastic service and quick delivery

TOP COMPANY, FAST DELIVERY, QUALITY GOODS.
From start to finish i can't fault W Hurst and son. I wondered weather it was a good idea to order something i wanted quickly from a company that was a boat ride away from mainland UK. The fact that they were £40 cheaper and had free delivery swung it for me. As soon as i placed my order i had an e mail confirming and soon after , another one with links to my parcel tracking with a 1 hour slot and a choice to change the delivery date if it wasn't convienient. Magimix 5200 xl premium food prossesor arrived next day , on time and in perfect condition. And it is brilliant .

A great transaction from start to finish!
Bought a Magimix Nespresso coffee machine as a Christmas gift for my dad. Hurst had the best price but i had never used or heard of them before.
Anyway, I placed the order via their webiste and was kept informed every step of the way from order to dispatch and delivery. They even gave me the delivery time within a 60 minute window. How many suppliers can do that these days?
So, overall very happy with the product and the service Hurst provided. Would have no hesitation in using them again or recommending them to someone else.

Excellent service and speedy delivery

Value for money and reliable on time delivery.
I ordered a Magimix 11300 M190 Citiz & Milk Nespresso Coffee Maker on 21st December 2012 and received it as promised on 24th December at stated delivery time.
The cost of the quality item was very competitive and I would recommend this company to anyone.

Hurst IW - Did not deliver but let me know in good time
I trawled the internet to find exactly what We were looking for and at the cheapest price we could find. Despite the delivery charge Hurst came out on top by a couple of pound in a £45 order. I ordered and paid on line. Next day an email was sent letting me know that the item had been discontinued from thier stock for some time and the Web page had included a number of ranges it should have not and this would be addressed with a high priority. My money had been returned - I checked with my bank and even though I ordered late one evening an e-mail had been sent early the next morning to let me know. Disapointing for us but as least we were had the money back immediately and were able to source another one in time for Christmas elsewhere. Though it was slightly more expensive it was delivered today and we will be wraping it and taking it to the appropriate relative tomorrow.

A totally excellent service just before Christmas.
W Hurst's Kenwood Prospero was the best value I could find either on line or in the shops. But more importantly, it arrived within 3 working days of my ordering it, delivered by DPD. This is the first time I have been informed twice by email of the exact hour a package is to be delivered - and it was there exactly on time!

Service good on this occasion but not what it used to be.
Hurst's used to be the best hardware shop I'd been to anywhere. Regrettably, service in the stores themselves has become so poor I no longer use them.
On this occasion I was after a couple of kitchen appliances and had seen a Hurst advertisement in a local paper. I looked on line and found the items to be cheaper than anywhere else. Delivery was free but slow. Hurst's own delivery service on the day was like the service used to be in the shops, efficient, happy and polite.
I would use the on-line service again, but it will take a major improvement in staff attitudes before I use the shops again.

I used Hurst for the first time and I will tell you it wont be the last!! What a wonderful organised company, I ordered my item Saturday evening and had my delivery Tuesday morning, so straight forward and no problems they keep you informed so you know exactly when to expect your purchase. Fantastic service - so hard to come by these days.
We bought a Dyson fan heater and it was cheaper here than anywhere else we saw. The order went through smoothly. I asked for a specific delivery date and that was no problem. The person I spoke to on the telephone was friendly and everything went without a hitch. Would definitely order from here again.

Beat all the Mainland Competition on Price, Delivery and Availability
I bought a Dyson Fan AM04 Heater for a Christmas present. I only found Hurst IW after first ordering from "every little helps" who delivered the wrong colour twice, and kept us waiting for a replacement on a Saturday with a delivery slot of 07:00 to 19:00 (it arrived 20:30 and was still the wrong colour).
We also tried "never knowingly undersold" who initially had the heater for only £10 MORE than Hurst's, but, by the time we had ditched "every little helps" they had re-priced to £50 MORE than Hurst's. It is such an irritating policy that JL prices track competitors, but do not really compete.
Hurst IW we had the colour we wanted, Blue/Grey, (cited as "exculsive" by some) and the delivery was very quick with email updates telling us exactly when it would arrive and asking if an alternative destination would be available if we were out.
There was no charge for this excellent deliver service and the price for the Dyson AM04 heater was the lowest on the Internet.
