'We will let you know when your order is shipped....'- I quote from their order confirmation email. So after 10 days and hearing nothing, I emailed them. 'We will reply within 24 hours....' - no they do not! Further email sent - no response.
So I call them on their well publicised phone number. Unobtainable! Alarm bells ring. So post on their Facebook page.
Mysteriously parcel arrives, sent not from Dinky Cartridges, but a private individual. Seems very strange. But at least I received the order without having to go through my bank for a refund.
Would I use again - no, not unless they can convince me of their customer service. Oh, and apparently they are in the middle of an office move. I dispute that this should make their customer care so bad.
Recieved a CCTV system at a cost of £190. The main DVR does not power up. Telephone rings out but is not answered. Three mails and no answer. Anyone who would like to join me in a complaint to Trading Standards please let me know.
I bought an Epson printer on the 12th August. Paid £60 online. They stated that the product would be delivered in 2-3 days. Its the 1st Sept and still haven't had it. Have tried to ring them now probably 100 times plus emails. No-one answers or responds. How can this company be operating. Trading Standards need to shut them down. I am going to write to Watchdog cause I'm fed up with this Mickey Mouse outfit. If I wasn't so far away from Sunderland I've drive there and give them some grief. Shocking company.
HP compatible cartridges supplied in May. First one failed in May. They agreed to take it back for credit but I had to pay for the replacement. 3 months later I am still waiting for a credit. They ignore emails and they do not answer calls on the number on their website so not sure if they are still trading. The remaining cartridges are now failing. Do not waste your money here. Trading Standards are on the case.
I never will buy anything again from Impact Computers as they seem to be a very poor company as far as service is concerned.
Admittedly I ordered a mini-DVI to HDMI cable on boxing day but the delivery took several weeks to come through. Thankfully I did not need it straight away but it was very frustrating having to wait for so long. I understand it was during a 'holiday period' but it would have been 5* if the delivery had come through a little sooner. Otherwise no grumbles whatsoever.
Ordered USB cable 29th December and promised delivery within 5 working days.
Arrived 11th January - better late than never.

Placed order and was informed that it should be with me within 5 working days. It is now 9 working days and I have received no product or contact advising me of any delay or whether it has even been dispatched yet :(
I know I was chancing my luck ordering my cable, micro to normal HDMI, which is why I paid for the first class post. l shouldn't have bothered with paying extra because it is all bumped together at this time of year and you do not control things at the post office. All's well that ends well however, it works great with my BlackBerry PlayBook.
Great value for money and really good delivery time. Would definitley recommend. The only thing I would say is that I would prefer the price quoted to include VAT as the price you think you are paying suddenly increases when you get to the payment stage, but apart from that good service.
after recently buying 25 double dvd cases, they arrived in a box a third too big for the items with a small piece of bubble wrap over them, when I inspected them there were 4 in all that were actually broken and a further 2 with the clear plastic across the front actually torn, I buy in good faith from the internet companies and still manage to get ripped off, needless to say this is one company that thinks little or nothing about customers just their money as usual I will never use these ones again beware anyone that reads this these are people that will take your cash and send you rubbish, I buy 500 a year from my old sorce without a single complaint to them concerning their products and customer service that is where I will be in future, buy from inpact computers at your peril. begrudgingly 1 star
Ordered item as shown on web page, no mention of stock availability.
Used PayPal so money was paid out immediately.
Stopped seaching for item thinking it was going to be delivered.
Only to be informed later that the item was out of stock and would not be replaced and money would be refunded.
This day and age with modern technology I would have thought the web page could have been updated so that out of stock items would not be displayed or allowed to be ordered.

I was a bit dubious about ordering the Micro HDMi cable I needed online as I thought it would get caught up in the Christmas post but I should not have worried as it arrived within 3 or 4 days which I think is pretty good considering the time of year. No problem with the order, I will use them again and recommend them to anyone.
I was a bit wary purchasing off of Impact-Computers due to the reason that i'd never purchased from them before... secondly the product I was looking for was extremely cheap (Verbatim Dual Layer discs) compared to other places such as Amazon & eBuyer.. but they arrived very fast and in perfect brand new order! Great! Buying from them again!
I purchased a microphone from Impact Computers. The item was packaged extremely well and was delivered extremely quickly. My overall experience with this computer business is extremely good and I would recommend anyone to use them, they can be 100% trusted.
I ordered a SATA to Molex power adaptor - I received an audio jack! Perhaps an order got crossed? I report the issue (including a photo of the shipped jack) and suggest they send me what I've ordered and paid for, and if they send me a stamped/addressed envelope I will send back the jack. They are refusing to send me my order until I send back their junk AT MY COST!!
If it was anything worth a dime I could maybe see where they are coming from - but it isn't even worth the postage!!

I ordered a miniport to VGA lead. What I expected was... a lead! What I got was an adapter. I had one of them already so I gave it to my son, who has just bought a Mac. Good fir him but I'm still looking for a cable!

Have left several with contact numbers.
Nobody has tried to repy to me

Been in touch with Pay Pal to recover monies and hope thay are banned from selling on line.
Are they still trading ? If so THEY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO.
