On the 22nd October, I ordered a box of 25 slim line jewel cases.
Eventually! on the 30th October they were delivered.
23 of the 25 had broken hinges and are useless. This could have been caused by substandard manufacturing in China. Or they could have been delivered to Impact in this condition, in which case they should never have been sent out. Or given that all the broken hinges were in he bottom of the cardboard box they came in, maybe they weren't packed adequately by Impact. My money's on that option, because the jewel case box had been put inside a bigger cardboard box with no padding and it was free to rattle around.
They don't answer the phone, the email is offline. (But they will TRY to get back to you!) What a way to run a business! Never again.
Found out about this company by accident but thought I would give them a tryout..can't fault them so far...have ordered items twice and have arrived well packaged, in good time and at a great price..can't ask for more than that and I will definitely use them again
I ordered a pack of blank DVD's and they were delivered free of charge faster than most companies where you pay for the postage, I will use them again.
Some companies say free delivery 'up to 5 days' then they post it on the 4th day. Impact posted it straight away without delay.....
Ordered a cable for a client. Cable hasn't shown up and it has been a week so far. Have tried calling to find out if the order has been dispatched or if there are any issues with it but whatever option you choose on their phone system diverts you to voicemail.
Not very professional. Steer clear. Will not be using them again.
Placed an order on 29th September for an in-stock item, paying extra for next day delivery.
As of 15th October, my order hasn't been delivered and still shows as "Processing" on their website. The money has been taken from my credit card.
I've tried to phone them (just got an answer phone) and used the "contact us" form on their website, and have received no response at all.
I'll be contacting my credit card company to get a refund.
After seeing a few laptops (MSI GT70) at great prices £399, i placed an order on the item that was left as the other had been sold. No confirmations, all my account said was processing. So emailed them to find out what was happening and was told the item had been shipped on time.
A few days later still no sign of the item i emailed again and was simply told the item was unavailable and a refund was issued. Checked my credit card and this indeed was the case. This is odd as the item is still available on the site at a much higher price. If only the company was more open and honest about the error on their part. Will be enquiring with trading standards too, since they said the item was shipped on time whether this contract is legally binding.
It doesn't appear the pricing to be errors, since it wasn't confined to a single item but from another review below it could be indeed be misleading advertisement and a way to direct traffic on to their site from Google and other search engines. As the old adage goes to make one error is careless but to have so many smacks of incompetence or worse.
Doesn't inspire alot of confidence to deal with this company again.
Having funds removed from my bank account for a ASUS RT-66 at what I thought a good price and receiving confirmation the item was dispatched the item never arrived.
After several emails I was then told I had been refunded the money - no discussion, no warning, no nothing. I then tried the phone lines - ALL voicemail (constantly - as I do not think they're manned).
I then receive evasive responses from that point as I quoted "binding contract".
I also offered to take an alternate "as they'd conveniently no longer had that item in stock"..... I think you can get the general drift.
Trading Standards have now been informed and the company investigated under criminal law of misleading advertising. (as per Citizen Advice consumer helpline 08454 04 05 06). AB10710576 - Kim
My options now are to go to small claims court to "claim loss of bargain" if this doesn't get the desired affect.
i had a look for usb to parallel cable for my old printer and new pc. i saw the cable photo and incorrectly assumed it was a photo of the product i was buying rather than a misleading photo of something else. The parallel card arrived rather than the cable i thought i was buying. As i know enough to instal a card i did so. unfortunately the computer does not recognise the card and the miniture disc supplied with it will not load on my computer as it like most computers has no spindle to hold the disc in the centre of the drive. I rang the phone number at 4pm hoping to speak to someone. there were i number of options which i selected and was sne to voicemail. I tried all the options with the same result. It would be a good idea if the website included photos of the produscts on offer and that someone where there to answer problems during "normal" business hours.
was between these and a seller on ebay, £1 between them, payed the £1 more for these guy`s cos i figured better to deal with a company than a guy on ebay.
had conformation mail after i orderd, then two days later had dipatched mail, then 5 hour`s later had a mail stating they did not even have item in stock, thats two days of my time wasted, order on ebay.
The 200 mbps powerline wireless plug works a treat
At the router its putting in 20 meg ,and on my laptop is picking up 20 meg plus uploading at 6.5 what more can you want

it is a shame that this company firstly did not send the cable I paid for, then their email support tell me that the problem is most likely with the royal mail, then I called and got a message to say no one available and it auto hung up, then I get through to a person to find out that the recorded delivery first class postage I had paid for was not used. They did send out another cable by recorded delivery eventually but from the date they said they would do this to the date received was another 3 working days, this whole process took 10 days in total to get my cable. The one that was supposed to be sent out on the original order never arrived. I say this is a shame because the cable was good quality and now I need them for the entire office, shame because I have had to purchase them elsewhere.

purchased an item which was listed in stock, which turned out not to be, company failed to issue a refund and had to go though paypal dispute to get my money back, they failed to issue a refund in the despite and i had to wait for paypal to make a decision, nearly 3 weeks to get my money back, rubbish company with dishonest stock intentions,
I bought two Newlink home plugs. They arrived quickly and safely. I havent bothered installing the CD; I simply plugged them in and the laptop worked, seemingly even quicker than Wi fi. A friend had given me what I think may be a rather old Vivanco plug, and it worked fine with the new ones.
This was some weeks ago I have e-mailed you that it was the post office delivery that was at fault, the parcel was taken back to sorting office but no slip put through door, I terefor did not know anything about it
