Misleading pricing structure that requires further payments
The icarcheck website clearly states with a green tick that a mileage history check is included. I paid the stated price. I did not get the mileage history until I had paid a further 3.50. I complained to them and have copied their response below. Assuming they make you aware that there is a pricing menu for each individual packet of information then in order to get all possible information available the total cost will be astonomical. The best eventuality is that they actually give you all possible information for an initial one-off stated price and let the customer decide from the outset if they want to pay as much.
This is the first time you have asked for a refund, which we will happily give to any customer who isnt satisfied with our service. There is no need for review threats or trading standards. A refund - no problem!
I have taken a look at the tick you mentioned and yes I totally a gree it can be misleading. I will get that changed over the course of the next 24 hours. Thank you very much for the feedback.
