I felt very confident using Instantprint to print flyers and posters for my event as the website was so helpful and the prices so cheap. I ordered on a Tues and was told that my materials should arrive on Thurs as per their 24 hour turnaround + 24 hour dispatch promise. However on Thursday they were still marked as in production on their website and I phoned and messaged them they then assured me that they would arrive Friday morning. I then received another message saying their had been a 'mechanical failure' in the plant and that I would now not receive my stuff till Monday! Unfortunately I needed the prints for distribution on Saturday so I had to cancel my order, they did however offer me a refund without dispute. I have now had to get the printing done locally as a rush job which has cost me 2 x the amount. However I wish I had just gone local in the first place as this whole experience has been very stressful. Business users beware this company may not provide your prints in time for your deadline-AVOID!
As a live event producer it is important to find a printer that is cost-effective, communicative and reliable. Instant Print UK is so far, and by far, the best printer I have come across. Their customer service has been kind, informative and friendly and helped to assuage some initial doubts i had. The print quality has been good and delivery timely (except for a mishap with DPD UK).
In our order we incurred a technical issue which delayed two of our orders which Instant Print quickly informed us of and kindly offered us a £15 voucher in apology. It is this kind of considerate and responsible behaviour mixed with competitive pricing and quality printing that will keep me as a loyal customer.
I hope everyone is treated with the same respect i have received.
I had ordered 2 batches of cards, One was purchased a couple of days later which the correct version. The original order placed was incorrect and contacted customer services to arrange for the first to be cancelled and refunded. Then my order was suppose to arrive on wednesday, that was not so and was informed that it would be the following day due to mechanical issues. When I received the cards the design was the first one which was incorrect!! After contacting customer services again, I was informed that he had cancelled the incorrect order and would of been to late to cancel the other which is understandable. Now you're probably wondering after all this hassle and mistakes I still rate them 4 stars?! This is due to the companys great customer service, print quality and pricing. First of all the customer service was great, I was treated with great respect and they owned up to their mistakes whilst providing money off next orders. The pricing is fantastic and probably the best bang for buck you can get for the quality, I don't know what the other people are complaining about but the quality of my prints were superb! After this I would recommend using them as they do care about their customers.
Ordered some business cards and they arrived badly cut (crimp marks) and the edges were scuffed. Contacted customer service and got some new ones sent out, which was great, but the cards didn't arrive much different. Guess no one checks the products when they are printed?
Second order and flyers were still marked as in production even though they should have been dispatched days ago. Contacted customer service a few times regarding the combined order with banners which I was happy to separate and pay extra postage - as they said you did not have to have artwork ready, you can just take advantage of the special offer, and I did not hear back at all.
Contacted customer service today again for a refund and letting them know I will be taking the business elsewhere, and they just didn't seem bothered. Not asking for any freebies, but it'd be nice if they cared they lost a customer or even apologised for not responding to my emails or their Live Support feature:

I placed the order for business cards - they arrived not only very poor print quality but also badly trimmed and with a laminate peeling off some of them... They agreed to reprint the order - second batch arrived even worse. Obviously nobody checks the product before it is posted to a customer, even if you specifically ask for it (as I did). On top of everything, during the whole process they also experienced software failure and some mechanical problems (twice) which resulted in despatching both lots later than the promised 24h ( as they advertise on their website as 'standard'). Not worth a penny and all the stress.
The print/item quality of the business cards was pretty poor. cheep feel, print is kinda sketchy... it just looks cheep (paid for "luxury" grade) Delivery was cr*p. Took them long enough to dispatch and then sent it via slow methods to further drag things out.

First time I ordered from instantprint I required a very quick turn-around for a large two-day event and paid for rush printing with morning delivery. I was given a 1 hour slot by DPD which I stayed in especially for. At the end of the 1 hour slot I received an automated e-mail saying I was out (I was about 5 metres from the front door, nobody even walked to the house) and that my package could not be delivered. This meant I had to drive 1 hour round-trip to the depot in the evening to ensure I had my flyers for the last day of the event.
Once again, last week I required another batch of flyers at a few days notice - accepting that the previous issue wasn't due to instantprint. I ordered on the Tuesday for delivery on the Thursday. Called up on Thursday when no information was received from DPD and was told my flyers hadn't been dispatched but would be dispatched that day for Friday delivery (1 day late). Called up on Friday (today) and was told that the flyers had in fact been dispatched on Wednesday but DPD tracked delivery had managed 'lose' the package and they would arrange to re-print and send out for next Tuesday (7 days after ordering). Would be very weary of relying on instantprint to deliver to their advertised times and seek other services when needing a reliable delivery time. I feel pretty let down and will be looking at using other firms in the future.
I was requested to write a review by instantprint on their preferred review provider but I seem to be unable to get my review to display so I'm writing it here instead.
Instantprint seemed almost totally unable to provide me what I had requested and paid for. I used their online upload which I was then told didn't work so had to email in my artwork. I did so but was once again prompted for it via email.
I ordered some leaflets and some large posters and they seemed unable to match the poster artwork to the posters and the leaflet artwork to the leaflet. They tried to print the A0 poster on the back of the A6 flyer and DID send me the A6 leaflet blown up to A0 size. They then sent me incorrect A0 posters twice more so don't expect much from the online proof as they didn't even bother sending me one for the 4 sets of A0 posters I had to throw away.
The whole process of dealing with them or any of their partners is draining and not worth the budget prices they charge.
