i paid the extra £2 for my pick up to be be four 2 pm on the Friday . i waited till 4 pm no one came. they came on the Mon. the delivery man said sorry he got lost . i emailed on the Friday to tell them about it. no feed back whatsoever not even my £2 back. as this was the 1st time and i will be shipping to USA on a regular basis. don't think i will use again .
Paid two quid for a collection Tuesday morning. Never arrived. Sent enquiry email. Nothing happened. Next day nothing happened. Sent another email enquiry. Sent parcel with Parcel Force @£60. Collection man arrived on third day. No offer of refund or explanation.
Really easy to use, and the staff at the depot were lovely when I dropped my parcel off. E-mails kept me updated on the progress of my package and the price was so much better than the others I looked at. Definitely using again.
I had never had the need before to send a package abroad but with my daughter in Australia, for at least another 12months, it was a job I could not put-off any longer. With my clumsy search 'parcel to Australia' Google presented me with sooo many choices, I began to despair, procrastination was just around the corner when luckily my son, looking over my shoulder chirped up, "i-post, they're meant to be good Mum!" ...So that is how I came to click the right button. The site is friendly, easy to get a quote with good guidelines and clear instructions. Even the label printing was a doddle with excellent pointers to walk you through the process. Working close by I decided to save a £1 and took the parcel to my local depot. There I was met with lovely friendly staff who assured me the parcel looked good to go. With a quick good luck kiss (the parcel that is, not the depot staff!) it was on it's way to the other side of the world. Delivery was quick, my daughter was over the moon and so was I. Now I know it's so easy, I'm already preparing the contents of the next parcel to Oz and there's no way I'm going to entrust the job to anyone else.
I was worried at first because the status showed DELAYED , I emailed to check why , no reply, NO PHONE NUMBER FOR HELP, BIG DOWNSIDE , but then the item status changed to delivered , whew !, STRESS OVER .
Parcels were scheduled for time time specific collection between 8am and 1pm (£2 extra fee per parcel), driver rolled up at 5pm. Actual delivery to the U.S. was fast. Very frustrating re late collection as no telephone numbers for customer service and they take 36 hours to reply to emails.
What is regarding delivery – all fine. But when tracking information was not renewed on website (how I understand, because UK Mail is using third party service for international deliveries) and you need to contact UK Mail, then it is starting madness: everybody refusing to talk, by telling that ipostparcels.com is just web service – no live people. Respond to question on web form - after few days.
I arranged for a parcel pick up, destined for North Carolina USA, on a Friday 28 Feb. It was duly picked up that morning. Two days later I viewed my order, and the eta was for 10 March which I thought was pretty good. What a heck of a surprise I got when I received an email saying that my parcel had been delivered on Monday 03rd March. Now that's quick, quicker than I would expect a parcel to be delivered in the UK, especially for the exceptionally good price that it cost me to send it. I would certainly use this courier again, and I have already recommended them to some friends.
I have used this company on many orders. There prices are reasonable and that's it. I've never met a business with a service and customer service as bad as this one. They don't have a telephone number and their emails are very rarely answered. This makes everything more difficult. I have many customers who require special next day and I use the ipostparcels service but on five occasions, they have assigned the wrong driver to my parcel - someone from the wrong depot. Which means that the parcels were not collected on the right days - and then I have to try as best I can to get through to them in order for them to collect on the following day. 5 times - I have complained constantly and they have never learnt the proper lesson. What do I need to do to get through to this company to amend their mistakes. I will never use this company again as they have made me lose more money as I've had to refund customers for delayed orders.
I sent the parcel and the phone number was wrong, I updated them with the correct phone number, heard nothing for 2 weeks, then got an email telling me that I did not provide information and that the parcel has been returned to the UK. They would not resend the parcel and I also have to pay £42 to get my parcel back even tho it only cosy £26 to send it.
Never using them again... and I will tell anyone I know of this severe problem. Shockingly bad communications. They don't care what happens to you or your goods.
