Along with everyone else, they did not tell me that they would be charging me monthly for their horrible jewelry. I bought a "mystery box" on sale for my mom for Christmas and was rewarded with shitty, cheap, and ugly jewelry and a monthly paid membership, WHICH I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR. Calling their customer service number leads to a half-hour wait which ends in them hanging up on you, and emailing them only cancels your membership WITH NO REFUND. I am disputing the charges with my bank, but don't make the same mistake I did! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
I just wanted to take the time to explain how JewelMint works. After the first credit card purchase that enrolls you in our preferred membership where you can either "skip the month" or a monthly store credit is placed into your account. Skipping the month is very easy! You would just have to log into your account and click "skip the month" in the top right hand corner between the 1st-5th. Once you click that link and confirm the skip, you are not billed anything! There is never an obligation to pay and essentially the membership can be completely free.

Other benefits of our membership include a personalized showroom based on the style quiz our customers take at sign up. Keep in mind, that all products are available for purchase. You do not have to solely pick from your showroom selection. We also offer Mintsider rewards points after each purchase you make on our site.You receive 10 points for each dollar you spend. These points can be redeemed for free merchandise. Similarly, customers can rack up Style Points by reviewing a product, becoming a member, pinning a product etc.
In regards to returns, all Mints offer prepaid return labels. If you were not satisfied with your purchase, you would just need to contact customer care and they would be happy to assist you with the return or exchange.

I signed up with them as part of a Swagbucks promo... and have religiously skipped my credit every month. This past month, I was billed anyway. I got my money back, but it was a pain to have to deal with.
I was excited to hear about the concept but I don't think they've done it very well. The jewellery is 'meh', and the quiz is 'meh' and the general design and everything else is also 'meh'. Why didn't they be a bit more creative with it all?!
