My wife placed an order for a Stokke pram using her debit card. Since we were only 4 weeks from expected birth date and the pram is supposed to take 3-4 weeks to deliver, she checked on her order on the website and it stated there "suspected fraud".
She emailled the company and asked about the situation if there was a problem. they said there was a "payment check" on the order and it was fine and the order went through, and we would receive an email when the order is despatched.
2.5 weeks later we recieved no email and despite many calls we could not get through to the company. So she emailed the company again and they told her she should email someone else in the company. No reply. So she called again and the person on the phone said that the payment had not gone through because they do not accept payments from outside UK.
So Kiddisave cannot accept payments from outside the UK, and yet they actually did debit my wife's account, and had her money in their account!
For some reason our money was not good enough, even though they had it, and they had to refund it and reject our order!
My wife asked why they did not say that earlier, and there was no explanation. My wife then asked about the previous email saying that the opayment had gone through, and it turns out that person was a temp who had no idea what she was doing.
So we lost 3 weeks. Why can they not accept a payment from a norwegian account I cannot understand.
Hello! WAKE UP AND JOIN THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY Kiddisave! There's a big wide world of potential customers outside the UK .
Unbelievable. We can get cash from any cash machine anywhere in Europe with that card, and pay for anything in any store in Europe so why can't Kiddisave take a payment from a Norwegian account? By they way, Norway is just across the North Sea from us. Its really not a far-off, foreign, exotic, third-word country.
Besides this ridiculous problem, their customer service led us to believe the payment had gone through and was being processed for 2.5 weeks.
After all the phone calls and emails Kiddisave eventually refunded my wife's payment.
In the end we got our pram from www.Pramworld.co.uk. We ordered at 15:00 in the afternoon, and the next morning it arrived. Price was not much higher than Kiddisave.
Take my advice - avoid this company and go to Pramworld instead.
You make an order, nothing arrives, no communication, do not answer phones or emails, then have the audacity to to send a customer satisfaction survey, despite no delivery or communication. They were suddenly fast to refund when I initialised a dispute with Paypal. Thank goodness for Paypal.
Order placed on 18th December and was told to expect delivery in 2-3 weeks. After 4 weeks and no email regarding delivery I tried to phone on 7 occasions, one of these times I was on hold for 45 minutes and the call still wasn't answered. I emailed and was told that they were looking into when my delivery would be made. Eventually I received an email to say that my order would come that Friday. Only half the order arrived, I again tried to call and after holding for 20 minutes I got to speak to someone. I was told that they didn't know when the other part of my order would arrive. They get delivery from supplier on a Monday and Tuesday but they have no idea what's in it??!! There was no email or phone call to keep me informed, the manner of the person I spoke to in 'customer services' left a lot to be desired, you can never get through on the phone and they don't respond to emails. Basically, if you want what should be an enjoyable and exciting part of preparing for the arrival of your baby spoiling, then order from this company.
Placed my order on the 2nd of January as the price was very good. Website claimed item was in stock and delivery is usually 2-5 working days, once I ordered I was told it would be 4-6 weeks. When I asked for a specific delivery date I was told that the manufacturer would be in touch with me, this was on the 3rd of January. Didn't hear anything by the 12th so I emailed kiddisave, because they never pick up the phone, and then was told it would not be delivered for at least another 6-8 weeks! I asked for a full refund, which is £902.50, on the 12th and was told it would take 5-7 working days, fair enough I thought. Did not receive it in that time, so emailed them twice to see what was going on, no reply to either and still no refund as of yet, the 27th of January. I am disgusted with this. Prices seem good, but it's only so you order with them, don't be fooled like I was.
This is my first negative review about a company ever - but I feel so strongly to WARN sleep and time deprived parents to not waste their time, energy and money on this awful company. I've had a very similar experience to Therese from Jan 2014. I ordered a Little Bird Told Me Rocking Horse. I was a bit hesitant as I've heard bad things about the company, but the price was competitive. I placed the order on the 9th Jan with a 48 hour delivery slot given. By the 16th the item still had not arrived, with no communication from the company. I tried several times to contact them by phone and had to give up. I eventually got a reply by email to say the item would be delivered by 21st. It hasn't been. I contacted them by phone - it took 3 attempts and I was in a queue for 10 mins each time - one time someone actually hung up the phone! I finally spoke to someone to be told it'd be delivered tomorrow. When I said this was totally unacceptable and I'd had to ask my mum to wait in all day for the delivery as I have a full time job, I wasn't given an apology or any sense that the company felt it had failed to deliver on its commitments.
My complaint is a simple one - an item was not delivered anywhere near the given 48 hour time frame (even if you take that to be 48 working hours) - an order placed on 9th was not even out on 21st! It was difficult for me to get through to customer services and when I did the information given was partial and unhelpful and the attitude was distinctly unapologetic. This is no way to run a business. I may be just one customer who won't use them again, but I'm sure there are many more. Kiddicare are very reliable - use them instead!! I've ordered tons from them and delivery is literally next day, even for evening orders. Avoid Kiddisave like the plague.
I placed an order with kiddisave 1 week ago for an out n about nipper v2 stroller, the website states a 48 hour delivery, which is great, the money was promptly taken from my bank account 2 days after placing the order, fair enough, a week later I still have not received my pushchair. It has taken 2 days of numerous calls to finally get through to the enquiry team. I'm told a new computer system has caused the delay but the warehouse has been checked and my pushchair will be dispatched tomorrow, I was dealt with politely and was happy with the outcome. Shortly after I was left a message to say they don't actually have the v2 model in stock any more and they will refund my money. I am furious, the item should never have been on the website for purchase if it is no longer available and my account should definitely not have been debited, what a con. I'm guessing they wont be so prompt to return my money as they were to take it. I will now place my order with Amazon and steer clear of this amateur company. Very disappointing experience.
I have had an appaling experience with Kiddisave. The website allows you to place an order promising you a specific day for delivery. This day was not met. When you log into your accounting just says order processing and no real information. After emailing for an update I got a delivery notification for the next day. Order arrived with one item missing which was part of the pram so pram unuseable without it! I phoned and was told that it was dispatched from a different warehouse and that I would receive it the next day. Lady seemed surprised that I did not know this but why would I as no email updates on orders are sent out and there was no paperwork in the delivery saying item to follow. I also asked for an update on my second order which again website allowed me to place with a specific date for delivery but this item is out of stock. Then had call back to say the missing item actually had not been dispatched and was also out of stock at the supplier for the next 2 weeks. This time the lady was much more apologetic whereas the first time I spoke to her I felt like she didn't care! I have been charged for a pram package but only have half the package! Overall very disappointed..........
I found ordering from this website okay, I did not receive emails to update me about my order process which was a downfall. I did not know when or if my order had been shipped but I am happy with the products I have received :)
Received a phone call regarding an item being out of stock the second day of ordering. The alternative is provided and I received the goods in 2 days. Very happy with the customer service and delivery speed!
First time I've used Kiddisave after my normal supplier took my order and my money online then phoned me the next day to say they did not in fact have my item in stock as per their online shop but I could chose one of two other designs! Since I had spent a long time chosing the item I did not want the other design so they will refund which leaves me in a predicament on the 22 nd Dec for my Granddaughters Christmas. I found the same item at Kiddisave who delivered it on the 24th at 7.45pm, just in time for me to wrap it. Thank you so much to everyone for their prompt service. You have a new customer who will definately recommend you to all.
This is the second time I've ordered from Kiddisave and been disappointed - although I have to say the problem was rectified eventually with the first order, which is why I (stupidly) ordered from them again. The main problem with this company is that they are appalling at managing their customer's expectations. They do not make it clear that certain brands will take up to 4 weeks delivery, even if the item is showing as in stock. This, coupled with the fact they never give you an estimated delivery date, just makes it a complete hassle to order from this company. You may think you're saving a few quid but it's just not worth the inconvenience of having to constantly chase up the order! Customer service started off helpful then I dealt with a gentleman who was totally insincere and quite patronising. In the end they ignored me until I bombarded them with messages to get a reply. Eventually got a refund, but only after they'd taken my money and told me 3 weeks after numerous chases from myself that the earliest the item would be available was a full 2 months later! Do not buy from this company if you want a smooth, easy transaction.
I bought the Kiddy Guardianfix Pro car seat from Kiddisave, and the customer service over the phone was excellent in terms of trying to work out what they had in stock, and what the warehouse might have. I went ahead and ordered after speaking to them, and I was hoping that the seat was the newer Kiddy GuardianFix Pro 2 seat, as that's what all the words on the website referred to. Unfortunately, it was the older one, which I was told was discontinued a long time ago, so I was a bit disappointed about that. The delivery was fine and the price was reasonable even for the older model anyway, so I would still recommend Kiddisave even though the description was wrong.
I've just received my new Maxi Cosi Rodifix in Confetti. Couldn't be happier with the service! I've ordered from Kiddisave because it was the cheapest offer in Internet for this particular hard to find model. I've read a few reviews prior to ordering, some weren't very positive, they mentioned slow delivery, no communication etc. But I wasn't in a hurry and thought with that price I can give it a try and wait for a few weeks if needed. So I couldn't be more surprised to receive the car seat just 2 days after the order!! And take into account that I live in Northern Ireland so delivery usually takes a bit longer! That definately exceeded all expectations!
i found that the bouncer was awful and wouldnt recomend it to you my riley was in it at 2 weeks and the leg rest colapsed imagin what could of happened if i didnt strap him hin luckily all that happened was he was badly shocked n had to go to hospital because of this i have hospital records to back this up .my buggy that i orderd is realy good i am realy happy with it and would recomend it to people .and the custermer services are bad .we were sending messages to and forthe about the baby bouncer the second i ask how i put in a complaint the man stopped messaging me and hasnt replyed even 4 days after .
The website mentionned that the item was in stock with a 2 days delivery - 2 weeks afterwards still nothing, not even an appology after 3 emails sent. Surely will never order from there again, I find it a disgrace that a company can treat its clients like that - if it was my company, custumer service would be key, I would have offered a discount, a voucher, and before anything appologies.
