Peace

I wanted a new bed and mattress to create some peace in my hectic life. Loaf helped to achieve that - everything went very smoothly from start to finish inlcuding the helpful delivery chaps. My bed is beautiful and the mattress is a joy - so good that even my two small children commented on the fact that it feels much more comfortable and warm than my old one. Thanks x

Good and personal service

Never heard of you before being recommended by my daughter . Certainly pleased with the personal service received by both Loaf and their delivery people . Not tried bed yet as we live abroad but Zloaf even left cover on mattress so we could change if the firmness was correct. Would recommend . The price seemed very competitive also.

Fantastic headboard

I have been looking for a suitable headboard for a superking bed for some time, they are either too tall or too fancy but Loaf has come up with the perfect one. Delivery was within a week and it looks fantastic.

Bed is nice enough but...

The upholstery took forever and cost a disproportionate amount of money. Also when it did finally arrive, a superking mattress hangs a little over the edge of the superking frame.
Pretty underwhelmed to be honest.

My wife and I bought a super king smoke bed and it is perfect. The only problem we have with the bed is that we do not want to get out of it in the morning!

Good service

Apart from having to chase to find out a delivery date, very happy with the service. The bricks and mortar shop in Ladbroke Grove is very nice and the staff really friendly.

Not a moment too soon

My timely divorce from my mattress of over twenty years proved not only painless but far less costly than I had imagined. The new partnership is proving infinitely superior. I am stll enamoured, even though the honeymoon is now over. I will not go into details of the specific pneumatic and other qualities as you might find it odd from one of my great age. Suffice it to say that I am fully satisfied with the exchange, which was, by the way, recommended to me by my own daughter!

Bad Experience

First and foremost, Loaf appears to be a great company, selling great products at great prices. I cannot deny they are friendly, helpful and offer good value for money. Due to all this we decided to buy a daybed and a Coco Bed from them. All was fine until the goods arrived. The Daybed was a completely different colour from the one displayed in their store and on their web. The one they advertised is a natural mango wood colour and we get a light baby blue one. To add to this, we also found they were parts missing off the coco bed and the instruction manual was wrong.

Upon calling them they initally said that daybed is the same in their shop and in the their web. When we sent them evidence (pictures) they eventually admitted that this daybed was from a " batch that was done in this colour " . The quality of the daybed we got sent is very poor so be very careful about this. Since we are abroad they said that they would not give us a refund and would only offer 100 pounds as goodwil To add to all of this the parts for the Coco bed which they did send eventually took a good 6 weeks to come so we couldn't build the bed!

My biggest issue with Loaf is that they are refusing to give us a refund based on the fact that they sold us the wrong product. We are not going through Citizens Advice Bureau, the Trading Standards and our lawyers to get our money back.

Very content!

We are very pleased with our chest which we're using as a toy box. I couldn't find anything on the market that would blend in well with our lounge, until I found this. It was expensive but I feel it's worth it. First time 'Loafer' and I very happy with the service I received.

A brilliant service, a beautiful product

Once I had made up our stunning new bed in the beautiful bed linen it looked like a bed from a posh hotel! It's better than I imagined and the 'extra firm' mattress is exactly as you described! I love it. Thanks Loaf :)

Bloody brilliant!

We ordered a couch from Loaf and was willing to wait the 7-9 weeks for delivery. It was a huge bonus to get a phone call, numerous weeks before schedule, to ask when we can take delivery of our couch! I'm 6 months pregnant and it was great to have a beautiful, soft, perfectly formed couch to rest on after moving into our new home. Thx Loaf.

a good matress does make you sleep better

The mattress is fantastic, I have had amazing really deep sleeps since getting it. Liked the return policy of trying it out with its protective plastic on. Only reservation was I didn't get a say in the delivery time and I did ask.

A mattress to die for and service to match

After looking at what a number of other retailers offered in the way of pocket sprung mattresses we opted to go with the much better handmade quality and competitive prices from Loaf. We bought the extra firm superking following really useful advice from a lady in the showroom. The delivery arrived on time and the guys even carried it up to our second floor bedroom without any complaint! Will definitely be recommending Loaf to all our friends.

Lid of the Indian box doesn't close properly - would expect this to have been tested before it was sent out.

All as it said 'on the tin' - no hassle, friendly and helpful delivery and an instant transformation of an empty flat!

Super king comfy Bed, sheets, pillows and duvet all perfect,
pretty breakfast china, jazzy striped rug, elegant lamp, practical table and
big mirror and a great contemporary painting to turn a recently bought
empty flat into a cosy home. Thank you Loaf.

Furniture which stands out

We bought the coco bed and lab table with 4 monk chairs. Very pleased with all items, both for style and quality. We have had many comments on the table set which really stands out. Items were delivered as planned and were fitted by the delivery guys. All went very smoothly. We will certainly go back and order more from Loaf.

versatile stylish double daybed - Brill!

Aside from having to wait 3 months for the product to be restocked , I so made the right choice in my lovely Loaf double daybed - it's very simply designed with one bed stacked on top of the other, each with a lovely indian mattress which my guests say has been very comfortable to sleep on, even though they're not "proper" mattresses...

I basically needed 2 sofa beds, but bought the double daybed instead, which can be converted into a massive comfy double very easily (160 cm wide), OR the 2 beds can be separated into two different guest rooms, OR you just pile one on top of the other and barely notice because they equal the height of a normal bed. When they;re not acting as guest beds, but in separate rooms, you have 2 daybeds, stacked with lovely cushions they look great.

Really good value for £700 as they solve several problems at once!

Great product, but the staff contact gave me wrong information

We are delighted with the Chloe headboard, it matches perfectly to other bedroom furniture. It was delivered in timely fashion and the men unpacked and installed the headboard and took away wrapping.

My only gripe concerns the answer to my earlier query about fitting. We have a super kingsize bed which is two single beds zipped together and hence it has two sets of fittings for headboards. I regret to say I didnt take notice of the picture on the web site, but I had telephoned the office and a young lady answered (I didnt take her name) and I asked whether the headboard fitting would match the outside fittings (of the two single fittings) which she confirmed it did. She did not mention the Chloe board is free standing, not that it would have been a problem, but clearly she didnt have product knowledge.

Fabulous service!

What excellent customer service. Received a call from an exceptionally polite lady, who promptly organised delivery. When the box arrived the two young men were happy and smiley and polite. They unwrapped my box so I could check it over and brought it into my hall (they offered to take it somewhere else but I hadn't decided where it was living yet). The box is beautiful. I cannot fault the experience in any way at all. Thank you Loaf!

The mattress is perfect, firm but cosy and lovely quality. My husband loves it too although he was determined to prove me wrong as his first choice was memory foam. Great delivery service and proud to buy British. Thanks! Could be back for a sofa soon!

First class service from start to finish

We ordered a crumpet sofa (medium) after spending ages agonising over which one to use. The staff were able to give really helpful advice regarding the size and style- especially considering the house dimensions. The delivery fellas were on time, polite and moved the sofa in perfectly.
I would definitely use Loaf again- the sofa is so comfortable and great value.

Cosy new furniture for my cosy new flat!

Loaf furniture meets the look I've been dreaming of for my new space. Couldn't be happier with the Bonjour daybed, now I just need to decide on the bed, sofa and chairs!

Change your delivery company!!!!

Your delivery company has left us close to cancelling our £1500 order with you. The staff have been rude and unhelpful. We were offered a slot in their 'very busy' schedule - when we asked if we could call back once we had confirmed there could be someone in to receive the delivery (my fiancée and I both work full time and are needless to say also 'very busy') we were told this was no problem - but when calling back only an hour later we were rather haughtily told the slot was gone - this happened not once but twice!!! Staff were rude and told us we should have just booked the slot and rescheduled later as 'that's what everyone does' - well TELL US TO DO THAT THEN. Frankly this was really obstructive and unhelpful. When we called you, we had an equally unhelpful conversation - either we have to stick to your preferred delivery company (and add another 2 weeks to our already 7 week order) or go with TNT who will only deliver to the door - i.e. we have to get the bed upstairs ourselves. Really poor service. We're not buying a forty quid chair off e-bay!! And yet ironically when we did we got 100x better customer service!! Sort it out Loaf. We definitely wont be recommending you to our friends from our experience so far. I'm nervous about the quality of your products now if this is the attitude of the companies you partner with.

PS given your response to another unsatisfied customer below we very much hope that you will try and get it right first time around with us - you still have a chance, so perhaps a little less of the 'loafing' and a bit more action please.

Lovely products and good service

Products are well presented on the website (visiting the showroom is useful but I think the website does a very good job of conveying the products accurately). We bought a bedbase only - which is beautiful and good quality. Delivery went without a hitch on the day that was convenient for us. Would unreservedly recommend.

I love my new coffee table

It has taken my husband and I about 5 years to agree on the style of coffee table we needed in our sitting room. We still couldn't agree so I ordered the Field coffee table anyway knowing that I could return it if he hated it. We do however both love it, hurrah! I changed the delivery date about 3 times, customer services were easy to deal with and made it very easy. I will definitely use loaf again.

What a good night's sleep!

We recently received our large order from Loaf & for the most part, we are extremely happy with our purchases. Our new bed, chest of drawers & wardrobe are fantastic and beautifully made. However two of our items appear to be slightly damaged & marked. We are currently in contact with Loaf's customer services & will hopefully get this situation sorted.
