Beautiful furniture but let down by bad quality and disappointing after care!
We ordered a sofa and a bed earlier in the year for £2000+ which we had delivered to Jersey C.I through an external shipping company (that we paid extra for) as Loaf does not deliver outside the mainland. Staff was friendly during the whole process and also refunded the VAT as Jersey is outside the EU. Very happy all around! A couple of week after receiving the furniture we realised that something wasn't right with the sofa and that it was faulty and therefore contacted Loaf with our concerns. After a lot of email correspondence, waiting, chasing, calling and chasing again, Loaf finally agreed to send us a new sofa and take the old one back. The process of returning the old sofa and getting a new one took nearly 11 weeks (almost 3 months!) We appreciate that it made things complicated that we didn't live on the mainland but there was alot of chasing and calling before the decision was made by Loaf to recall the sofa and we were then given 6 weeks estimated delivery to receive our new one, a little bit disappointing! Lydia (member of staff) was VERY helpful throughout the whole process and she even arranged for the sofa to be delivered free of charge to Jersey, thanks again!
The point with this review is to say that the after care, when something goes wrong and needs to be returned, have to be improved and more efficent!
Finally - Bed looks beautiful and we have now received the new sofa which looks (and so far) feels great. Fingers crossed!
