Amazing quality and surprisingly cheap
Got an A2 giclee done here and it looks really beautiful. I collected rather than having it delivered, but it was very well packaged, which was a bonus.

Nice'n Easy
It doesn't get much simpler than this - supply decent jpgsand get good prints quickly at a reasonable price.
It's the first time I've used Metro-Print and I was impressed with the results. I'm a pro so I know the ropes but even as a beginner Metro-Prints' upload service is so clearly and efficiently explained enough that you'd have no problem getting what you wanted.
I also want to mention that when I called in Great Sutton Street to pick up my stuff, the guy manning the counter found my stuff immediately and smiled as he handed it to me. That gives a great impression of a company and goes a long way in my book.

Great prints, good prices, fast service!
Metro print fulfilled my order quickly and efficiently. The packaging was good and the prints were of excellent quality.
I also recently had to email them about an unrelated issue, and found their support to be friendly and personable, as well as having my issue resolved with minimal hassle. Highly recommended.

Reliable quality and very professional colour correcting assistance
Tim was really helpful in color correcting the images for my portfolio. It was done fast and at a high level. Nice job. I would print my c-types with Metro from now on.

Good quality prints but lacking confirmation email with full details.
I am very happy with the quality of the prints and uploading is fine. All very simple to use. My only issue was when I left the name field empty for the delivery address it defaulted to the billing address, which was not the intended delivery address. Unfortunately the confirmation email does not contain details of the order. You must click on the link to follow the order online.

Quick and professional service

A One Service
The ordering and turnaround are fabulous. Need a box to verify where you are sending the print. I order several and have them sent to clients but the box doesn't reflect that. When it is for someone else I need to have the invoice sent to me and not the client. One needs an instruction box that prints out on the order receipt. Minor points but important to me.
I would recommend the service to everyone. 5 STAR

Stunning quality prints turned around quickly
Metro have always offered a very personal service, their print quality - even for very standard stuff - is second to none and competitively priced. Clarity and colour saturation is beautiful. Their turn-around time is excellent. There is no better premium photographic printer in London.

Best Printers in The UK Hands Down!
Having tried every pro lab in London and beyond over the last 20 years Metro have always provided me with the best prints and serve without question.
Now that they offer a DIY online service I am over the moon as it means I have full final control but yet with the same quality of print I have come to expect from Metro.
They're going to save me a fortune in inks!

Quick turnaround. Amazing quality. What more can you ask for?
I only had few days to get some giclee prints made and they told me up to five days to turn them around. I got an email a day later to say they were ready to collect.
Opened them up and really gorgeous quality.
In the run up to getting them printed I emailed some questions and got a reply almost immediately from a chap called Martyn, who couldn't be more helpful.
I just can't fault them.

the website is not very user friendly; it could explain a bit more clearly the way the pics need to be downloaded and have an option to save and revert.
It would be good to see the cropping on the screen too.

Poor staff attitude and slow production
My original order stated production time of 5 days. It took 9 days and when I phoned up to ask about service the member of staff was abrupt and disengaged.
Further, when I went to pick up my print the shop was disorganised and again the staff were curt.

We know our General Manager contacted you after leaving this review and were very pleased with your final print and mount, but we are disappointed to hear you had a negative experience as we take our level of service very seriously.
We spoke to our front of house staff regarding the difficulty of finding your order. They said that when you arrived in the lab to collect your order you informed them that it was a big print. They therefore checked the area where we keep prints but, in fact, your order was for a small print so they were looking in the wrong place! As regards turnaround time; our service time for prints is 2 days, and mounting 5 days, making a total of 7 days. We sent you an email on the 7th day, (Friday) that the order was ready, and you collected it on the Monday. Unfortunately we are not a 7 days a week operation, only 5, perhaps this is where the confusion lays? We hope you continue to use our service for your printing and have now reassured your concerns.

7 working days later and still waiting for my prints
Metroprint sent me a discount voucher so I tought I would try them to compare quality with my local printers. I ordered 2 prints with mounts and understood it would take up to 5 working days to receive them. We are now up to 7 working days and still haven't received them. It is disappointing because I needed them for an exhibition. In future will use my local printers
To be fair Metroprint did offer a further 20% off my next order and explained the delay was due to the time it takes to do the mount. The finished prints were fantastic

Our mounting times are from print time, so should have been ready in seven working days, not five – this allows two working days for printing and five working days to mount. As we've encountered this issue a few times, we've reviewed our website and automated emails to make this clearer to avoid any further issues people may experience.

The online service at www.Metro-Print.co.uk provides high quality, affordable printing. My artwork are A4 black-and-white prints, but Metro-Print can print in A3, and also A2 sizes, which is perfect for my print-to-order service.
I hope to get my artwork online soon (www.papart.co.uk), and also into stores by the summer of 2013, so the print sizes of A2, A3, and A4 by Metro-Print is perfect for me, and also affordable, which means I can pass on appropriate prices for the artwork to customers, and supply the artwork with or without frames.

damaged work and dishonest management
Having ordered 10 prints online with Metroprint, I was very much looking forward to receiving high quality results. Unfortunately one of the prints was delivered to me damaged (it looks like tape was stuck to it and then removed) - I immediately contacted Metroprint and spoke with Martyn who was happy to have the print remade and resent free of charge - however the next day I received an email from one of the staff who informed me it was not their fault that the print was damaged and that I would have to pay (50%) of the orignal price plus shipping. I immediately called the store and spoke with Martyn who assured me this would be resolved. After 2 weeks and 2 emails I have yet to hear back from anyone there and have had to dispute this transaction with my credit card company. Simply, Metroprint offered shoddy worksmanship and tried to pass it off as professional. Beyond this, they were dishonest about the resolution and have "buried their head(s) in the sand" and hoped the problem would go away. Clearly it hasn't. I would advise everyone to avoid Metroprint at all costs and choose from one of the many other printers in London.

Superb, professional service.
I have been researching a few online photo labs & came across Metro. I was intrigued & impressed by what I read & thought that I'd give them a try.
I have to say, that I have been extremely impressed with the professional service, the time taken between upload & the print being in my hands (24 hours), but most of all by the quality of work.
The paper I chose for my first time was the Hahnemuelle fine art baryta & I am blown away by the result.
Really just want to say thanks & I'll be using Metroprint on a regular basis from now on.

Better than brilliant, excellent service and excellent results
I cannot fault anything abut the whole process, from using the online ordering service - for which I was able to call someone at metro and find out what the best options were for what I needed - to to receiving my prints quickly, and exactly how I wanted them.
I would recommend metro without reservation to anyone, anywhere!

Fantastic service, with fantastic results.
Really easy to upload images. All information needed to get images ready was online. And then the people where helpful and contacted to make sure all was ok. Then the work was done quickly and the outcome was amazing. Really good and will use there service again.

Excellent all round!
Would and will definitely use again. Not being a professional photographer, I didn't know where to turn to get a large family portrait printed and found Metroprint on the web. With some concerns as to the outcome I was very pleasantly surprised by the ease with which I could place my order and the help and options available on the website. Initially thought of going with the more expensive advisory service but in the end just placed the order. Communication back to me was prompt and clear and the print arrived as expected and very promptly. Would definitely recommend this company.

Uploading is unreliable
Uploading files to be printed is very slow and unreliable. I tried to upload 50 files 6M each and could not do that, in the end I uploaded files in three sets. This is inconvenient, but also will cost more for me; I have to pay multiple shipping costs as uploads can not be combined to one order.
Otherwise, image quality is excellent, and e-mails I received were friendly.

Thank you for your feedback, since your comments we have upgraded our servers to cope with increased demand. Do be aware, that broadband upload speeds are much slower than their downloads, so 300mb of files would take some time to upload. When placing your next order with us, please select collection and we will provide delivery free of charge to compensate you.
If faced with the same situation in the future, or if it suits you to upload orders seperately, we can of course collate your orders with one delivery charge.

Excellent service! Brilliant for all my art prints
Can't fault quality, superb! Fantastic service and excellent turn around. Had many prints done now through Metro Print. Would be good if there was a recorded delivery postal service as I don't like relying on first class postage but the next available signed for service is too expensive.

Metro Print had network problems, almost didn't manage to get my order to me
Always had a great experience with Metro, even for the small non-professional jobs I bring very sporadically.
With Metro Print was looking forward to the convenience but couldn't upload any files for 48 hours on any platform. Metro couldn't replicate my difficulties but weeks later they found it was a corrupt network card on their system.
My prints were also held up by unexplained problems with the lab but after prompting they managed to get them to me in the closing hours of the day via a bicycle courier.
