Although they did not have the exact Item that I had ordered- They promptly contacted me the next day to offer an alternative- which was the same price and almost the same specification. I would not hesitate to make purchases from them in the future.
Satisfying, but the returns-policy is too much work. I received the ordered goods within a week, so nothing to moan about. But.... I now need to return an item and this is where the work starts. Call/email for a reference number, enclose a covering letter and sent back. Why not sent a receipt (which is not enclosed) with the order with a returns-form? I know we need to use less paper, but enclosing a receipt with an order can help as well in an insurance claim. So please review your returns-policy, furthermore as said before satisfying service.
I ordered a wetsuit on line, them got an email saying it was discontinued. The same suit is still available on line. I feel this is a ploy to get you to order with them knowing it's not available as they then emailed me offering me a more expensive option.
When ordering two Fourth Element wetsuits which I required in a hurry, the stores communication during the process of the order was fantastic and the order when it was received on the day it was promised was spot on.
Also not to mention that the prices are also competitive!
Would recommend to anyone if looking for diving equipment just because of the customer service I received.
having broken my fins trying to change straps less than 2 weeks before going on holiday I ordered oceanic vortex fins from Mikes. they were out of stock on other sites so I had my fingers crossed. I chose royal mail as I knew the postman would leave my parcel in my secure place if I was out. in my account I could track progress so I knew they were in there way to me. my order arrived in just 3 days. They were well packaged. and now safely packed in my suitcase ready for 20 fun dives in the Caribbean. Great service and holiday life savers
Placed a few orders, all delivered very quickly. When there was an item that was not in stock, I was informed and it was still delivered very quickly. More than happy to recommend Mike's, deeper and down........swim like a fish!
Pity that what I wanted was out of stock and I had to cancel as I was hoping to send the book I had ordered to Australia to my diver son. I was credited almost immediately and dealt with really efficiently. Will order sooner next time.
The items I have purchased have all been competitively priced, well packed, very quickly delivered, and always as described. I have never had occasion to raise any queries with them so can't comment on that side of their service. But hey, the important thing is that has never been necessary. I'm a happy customer and would use them again without hesitation.
mikes dive shop i found to be very helpfull, i bought a dive knife online, it was out of stock. that was no problem to mikes i had my knife in two days, they ordered it in and rushed it to me. i will definatly use mikes for my dive kit and tell all my dive buddies how pleased with the service i recieved i am. thanks to all the staff at mikes
Didn't manage to send me my items in over three weeks. No indication of items not beeing in stock on the website. Did not get back to me, had to ask several times, despite they knew I had a deadline. Don't trust their service!
Edit: After almost 4 weeks, the items are sent. No items for this vacation and no way to collect the items because I will not be at home :-((((((((((((((((((((((
This has gone from bad to worse. STILL haven't got my items. After two months. It's really hard to believe all the positive comments on this site. The service they use to deliver the items sucks. Mikes has no control. First the items were lost for one week. Then Mikes could not fix the simplest thing, to order an extended stay at the pickup point. Package sent back and now it's stuck somewhere again. The service uses home delivery. Who wants this these days?
