Ordered an Nvidia Shield. Called first and was told this has to come from the USA warehouse. 5 days later I had the product! Very good tracking service and I was kept up to date the whole time.
Very impressed and would recommend this company to anyone.
I was a bit sceptical when placing order with MobiCity due to some of the negative reviews but I must say that my experience was perfect. Mobicity kept me posted with the progress of my order; I was provided with a tracking number and I could check the status of shipment. The product (LG G2) arrived on time, in excellent condition, although I believe it was from Korea as the default language was set to Korean. Few weeks since the phone has arrived and it is working perfectly without any problems.
I paid close to £700 for an Asus tablet. It shut down randomly so I sent it back. They kept it for 3 weeks then returned it, telling me there was nothing wrong. The problem re-occured immediately so I phoned them to complain. I spent 20 minutes arguing with some idiot who told me he was an IT professional and that in his opinion it definately wasn't a hardware issue and that it was my fault for installing Skype. According to him Skype is incredibly unstable. When I pointed out that I used Skype on my android phone all the time with no issues he said "no you don't". I'm not kidding. Luckily Asus confirmed there was a hardware fault and refunded me, but this was MobiCity's responsibility and they ducked it in the most unprofessional way possible. They are liars and morons, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.
I did a lot of research and MobiCity seemed good, with all the items I wanted in one place, at a competitive price. I wish I had never ordered from them though. The items were for a leaving present(s) for a colleague and friend. On ordering delivery was quoted as 1-3 days, which then changed to 1-5 days. Anyway it took over a week and that was too late and they had left, and left the country! A different 'phone was delivered to the one I ordered but I have been assured it is the same...except it's a different colour. 2 items were missing. One has been sent, but I'm still waiting for the 16Gb microsd card. The order was placed on 18th September. It's now 21st October.
My advice, do not buy from this company.

My experience with Mobicity (UK) was faultless, though I have seen less than flattering reviews from other customers, so I can only report my experience.
I ordered from the website on a Thursday, having first checked by phone that the phone was in stock (in HK). The brand new phone was delivered, much to my delight by Tuesday.
A good job, well done. Would certainly use them again.
The only unknown factor is the warranty support, should I ever need to use it.
I was very disappointed in the service provided by MobiCity UK. I ordered an item indicated as "in stock" for Next-Day Courier delivery. Two weeks later I had not yet received the product and was getting differing information on why the order had not yet been shipped. After 12 days, several phone calls and a series of very unhelpful email with their customer service department, I was finally advised that an error had been made on their part, and that the item I had ordered that was indicated as "in stock" was actually not in stock and was being re-ordered from Hong Kong. Had I gotten that information at the beginning off the process, I might have had an opportunity to get a refund and make the purchase elsewhere for more timely delivery. Once the item had finally arrived in the UK warehouse, I was advised on a Tuesday that I'd have it by Thursday. Even with that, the item did not leave the UK warehouse until Friday. I received it the following Monday. A full two weeks after my order date, and a full week after my husband's birthday for which I had purchased the product. I did get my shipping refunded, but it was rather unpleasant having spent nearly 800 GBP and wondering for a time if I'd actually been scammed and if I'd ever receive my product or have to fight for a refund. While I really like the product, I most likely will not order from MobiCity UK in the future. I will just stick with Amazon.

The goods were excellent quality and value but the delivery experience was disappointing. They were shown "in stock" but two weeks later no delivery. Promises of updates were not met. Three weeks after my first complaint they finally arrived. Not good enough
I useuly buy my gadgets from the like of Pc World or Currys i was looking to buy the Galaxy note 8 3g n5100 which is the cell phone version it turned out it.s not available in the Uk only the Wi Fi version so after a great deal of research i opted to contact Mobicity Uk who have offices in Wimslow Cheshire what i liked about them you could talk to them on the phone lots will not this helped in me making my decision .I spoke to Roger whom i think is a Dir of the company he was most helpful and not pushy he put my mind at ease and talked me through the procedure as i was unsure on doing it on the internet i took the plunge pressed th button and within the week was trying out my new tablet i must also thank there couriors DPD for there wonderful service from the moment i placed the order i reicieved an email from them regarding the tracking system which worked like a dream it was deliverd within 15 min of the said schedule well done DPD again thank you Mobicity ps the unit was well packaged with no marks or damages yours gadget grandad Stango07
I came to MobiCity from a friends recommendstion, but on my experience I find it difficult to justify that recommendation.
Having placed my order and specified Royal Mail delivery, MobiCity saw fit to hand that task to DPD. Consequently an order which was given a lead time of 2-3 working days took nearly 2 weeks to get to me.
I was in communication with the operatives during this escapade, but delivery promises were made which just were not fulfilled. Only when I suggested that we cancel my order did things improve.
I accept that I may have been unlucky, but it was my experience; if products are too expensive to send by Royal Mail, then that option should not have been offered at time of purchase. If I had known that DPD were involved I would not have placed the order and bought my handset from another retailer.
I came upon MobiCity in a Google search looking for a 64GB HTC One 'phone - they seemed to be the only people in the UK selling them. The website said it was "in stock, fast delivery". At 4pm on 21st June, I placed an order and paid an extra £5 or so for faster delivery. On 25th June I called the helpline number and spoke to a nice girl in the Indian Sub-Continent who couln't get a reply from the warehouse. He gave me the number and I eventually got through to a man who said I would have it two days later. I suggested a refund of the express delivery charge, but he said he couldn't do that but he could chuck in a screen saver and a car charger instead
The day came and went with no 'phone, so I lost patience ordered a 32GB version from Amazon (which was here the next day) and tried to cancel the MobiCity order, whereupon I was deluged with helpful e-mails telling me my order was about to be despatched! I ignored them and decided to forget the whole exprience and got on with enjoying the Amazon delivery. Then, Lo and Behold, four days later (10 days after I ordered it) the 'phone arrived!
Interestingly it is a model for the Aussie market...not as advertised and throws up one or two interesting issues. All in all very poor service.
When I placed my order the lead time was displayed at 1-2 days, but it actually took 41 days before I received the item. This is understandable as the phone was only just released in HK/TW and when I received it there was still no other place to purchase in the UK.
Whenever I interacted with Mobicity they were courteous and professional and tried to give me as much up-to-date information as possible.
My experience with Mobicity was overall good, and I would buy from them again.
Initially I was impressed with my order from Mobicity, as the prices were good and it seemed like a trustworthy company. It was even very easy to change the colour variant of the product I was ordering and my delivery address through the online suport. However, the stock level on the website was not accurate, so when I thought I was buying something that was in stock in the UK, I was in fact buying something which was not in the UK at all but in a foreign warehouse. This meant that my order was not delivered the next day as expected, but actually over a week later, but no-one from Mobicity would tell be what was happening until it was actually being sent to me from the UK warehouse. My order then also seemed to go missing for a couple of days before it was actually dispatched. To be fair to Mobicity they did refund me the postage cost, but only after I had asked for it due to the fact it arrived late. Many other people have had good experiences with Mobicity, so I was surprised that I had so much trouble. The online support was helpful and very polite, but slightly frustrating that I was left without an explanation of what was going on for a whole week.
Would I try them again? Possibly, but I'd check that the items were in UK stock first, regardless of the what the website stock level states. Plus, the phones that Mobicity sell are international variants, so don't have the same warranty as UK models. While Mobicity do provide a free year's warranty (which you can upgrade for a fee), you don't have to spend much more in some cases to find UK models with a full manufacturer's warranty.
Got a gorgeous phone for a great price(£50-£150 cheaper than other stockists). Just wish they'd be up-front about the fact that the phone is not aimed at the UK (comes with a 2-pin EU charger and MobiCity-provided UK adapter). It's not a problem for me, it's just the lack of transparency that niggles. There's nothing to hide, the phone I got is 'intended for the EU market' and therefore works fine in the UK. In fact, I believe they're doing a good thing in sourcing the phones from cheaper markets to give us a better price.

Ordered a tablets before christmas, took 2 week to process the order then I cancel the ordered but they wouldn't cancel it. In the end I never got the tablet waited 3 months for refund but still no refund. I tried to contact them via email but they didn't respond. I rang them up finally got in touch with someone but he was very rude and he wanted everything in writing, I explained to him that everything is in writing if you can be bothered to check your web support system but he insisted that he wanted everything in writing because he didn't know anything about web support tickets. There was nobody else in his office because he was the CEO.
WHAT A PLONCKER!!!
Finally I had to contact my bank to get my money back. So don't bother if you are thinking of buying anything, its completely waste of time and money.
Avoid at all costs.
I ordered a Galaxy S3 from this place last year and, upon seeing it dispatch from Hong Kong on the tracking website, contacted them for clarification. I was assured by email that my phone was a UK version definitely covered by Samsung's 2 year UK warranty.
9 months later my phone started to crash and freeze so I took it to my local Samsung repair centre. They advised that I almost certainly had the inherent S3 "sudden death" fault but that they would have to send it back to Samsung themselves as they are the only ones who can fix this fault. Then, upon checking their system, they advised me that this could not be fixed under warranty after all as it was a United Arab Emirates handset.
I called and emailed MobiCity and after being fobbed off then ignored for a week I finally got to speak to [private data removed], their charming MD. [private data removed] refused to give me a refund regardless of the fact that I had originally made it clear I wanted to cancel the order if it had no manufacturer's warranty, then actually threatened to sue me for going to Trading Standards and trying to get a refund through the credit card company! Never did figure that one out.
Eventually, after Trading Standards told me my only option was to go to the small claims court, and the credit card company told me that their contract was not with Mobicity but with the Moneybookers 3rd party payment processing company that Mobicity were using at the time, I had no alternative but to send my phone back to Mobicity to be repaired under the "Mobicity warranty".
A few days later I received my phone back with a note that it had been fixed. As soon as I switched it on it crashed. It was no surprise that they could not fix the fault after what the Samsung repair centre had told me about it, and the ongoing Mobicity lies were no surprise either.
Eventually I opted to sell the phone as faulty on eBay just to end the nightmare.
So, the moral of the story is- do not trust a single word these guys say. [private data removed] told me himself that all of their phones are imported from"global markets" meaning that any phone that does not carry a worldwide warranty will not carry a valid manufacturer's warranty in the UK. It will only be covered by the "Mobicity warranty", so you better hope Mobicity are still trading if and when your phone suffers a fault.
Mobicity service, pre and post, top notch. Don't know them from 'Adam' but they feel like family. Their very responsive to your queries and purchases. One of the most likeable companies I have had reason to do business with. I will return when needs must and I would highly recommend this company and its' staff
I have been very pleased with my Tablet. When I did have problem with the battery charging, my email was responded to promptly and a solution offered which worked just fine. Full marks for post-sales customer service which is not the forte of some other on-line suppliers of electronic equipment .
I bought a padfone 2 from mobi city when they were first released in asia. Mobi citys website stated they had stock and would deliver next day, so i ordered, unfortunately somebody else ordered the last one in stock moments before i did. The next day my phone hadnt arrived so i rang them up a little irate, they explained what happened and prceeded to order me one direct from TAIWAN!!! for next day delivery to my door so lord knows how much that cost them.
5 months later my phone broke through a known hardware issue with the phone, mobi citys live chat was very helpfull and a pleasure to use, the people were polite and useful. My phone was bought from asia and covered under local warranty so it needed to be sent there for repair, i of course was covered under mobi citys warranty so i sent my phone back to them, they forwarded it onto asia. It turned out my phone wouldnt be back in the uk before mobi citys 30 day guaranteed repair or replacement on warranty items, so they sent me a nice shiny new phone. I would certainly recommend mobi city as a company to anyone.
Having paid for next day delivery it took 10 days for part of the order and 4 weeks later is till do not have one item, even as I was told it was being shipped last week noting arrived. as for the support e-mail it took 4 days to respond I would not recommend to my worst enemy
I bought a phone from them which arrived swiftly.
Unfortunately it developed a fault, and they didn't have any spares in stock and was unable to repair or replace it within an acceptable time frame.
They did, however, provide a refund immediately.
I would happily buy from them again.
I love my Wildfire S so decided to buy one as a gift for my Mum. I scoured the internet and chose MobiCity to purchase from as they offered good prices. I thought it would be a while before we received the phone but it was delivered within days. Excellent!! Great follow up emails
Although it was my first time purchasing smartphones from MobiCity, I am very pleased to say that their service quality and products are top notch. Every problem and concern that I had was answered within a day or less. Their security verification is amazing also. I will definitely be recommending them to my friends and family. Thank you MobiCity, you guys are the best !!!
