I heard about this online shop from a friend, Dumitru Nicusor. I wanted to try it out to find out if it the company really provides such a good quality for the products available for selling. And what do you know? They really passed my test and they even passed my expectations: my product reached home in about 4 business days, I delivered the money and the process was finished! Big thumbs up for Moby Memory! They really deserve all the good words. Keep up the good work guys! I really appreciate what you are doing out there.

Ordered the 64gb ultra micro. Was sent the same day and I received it two days later.
When I first wrote a review here, it wasn't good. I got an odd message from Paypal and the companies site dissapeared. All my nerves jangled and I called foul.
However, I got a message from the director telling me they'd have major faults with the web hosting and the site and email had been down. I have since received the goods, very good they are too.
I've always said that any fool can get things right, it's how you're treated when it goes wrong that counts. I'd say this company pulled themselves out of the mire and has now realised a few home truths about social media and the importance of being in contact with your customers.
I would in retrospect deal with this company again as they offer a quality product at a very keen price.
Despite admitting they have not sent the memory card, they have not refunded the transaction.
I received this notification:
"Our System has reversed your payment and the funds should be back with you shortly."
THEY ARE LYING. My payment system registers a refund immediately.
15 days later I don't have the money and I don't have the memory.

I ordered a hard drive and paid via paypal on 5th April...I didn't receive the item. I sent email after email requesting that I be contacted, and heard nothing for about a month. I then received a call from the owner of the company, [Name], who advised me that he wasn't sure what link I had followed but they no longer supply the item that I had managed to purchase!!
[Name] assured me that he would sort the situation out in the next few days by either sending me the item or refunding me. It is now 2nd June, and I have heard and received nothing!!! I have emailed...LOTS...and had no response. I have rang [Name] mobile and still no response.
I am extremely frustrated and saddened by this experience...fortunately the first I have had...but it's companies like MOBY MEMORY that cause a bad rep for buying off the internet.
I am not planning to give up just yet....even if it means a wee visit to the registered offices.
Please Moby Memory, just give me my £39.99 back!!!!!!
It is now 14th July and still nothing. I did receive an email on the 18th Jun askine me to stop contacting mobymemory via their website as the problem was with Paypal. On contacting Paypal I was advised that the transaction of £39.99 went through on that day to Santrade Limited who Moby Memory trade under.
Again I spoke to 'the owner' and he assured me that he would do his best to sort this out and refund my money. He said that he dealt with orders worth thousands on a daily basis so why what would he want with my £39.99!!
NOTHING...I HAVE RECEIVED NOTHING. So I shall endeavour not to let Moby Memory forget about me. Let the emails continue...daily now I think.
Do not touch MOBY MEMORY unless you desire rubbish customer service and want to give your money away

I'm unsure where to begin? Firstly this company's trading name is "[name removed]" I bought a game for £4 from them 2 years ago and it never turned up (link removed) Transaction ID: 41R53756214260126. I wrote them emails and nothing. I simply put it down to a bad experience and my first bad experience in 10 years of online shopping, I never went to dispute using paypal. This was via [links removed]. Note, they don't trade through [Ext ref] any more....[links removed] ) Now fast-forward to the present... 30th April 2012 I bought a pair of Dr. Dre beats headphones from Mobymemory.co.uk and they arrived several days later and if you look at the photo you'll see that the red cord has been sliced through the protective sheathing. You'll also see that there is no packaging with the headphones, this is how I received the product in a jiffy bag. That's right! I paid £40 for headphones, with no packaging and damaged cords. I emailed this picture to them within minutes of receiving the goods (there's no phone number) and they asked me to post the item back. They received the item and have said there's nothing wrong with it! even though the cord has been sliced, which is visible from the photo. I'm speechless. I then discovered to my dismay that its the same company (albeit a different name) that no longer trades in [Ext Refernces] . Well, I've written emails, provided proof and nothing.
This is my experience. I'm not saying you shouldn't shop here but I never will.
Poor service, Poor products, zero satisfaction.

In response to Moby Memory's comment below. I think its important people know that it was the same company and it is registered at the same offices. This is no coincidence.
Secondly I have not received the refund for the postage I paid for to send the (used) item back to them. No apology and plenty of excuses.
Found MobyMemory whilst looking for a cheap 32GB microSD. Decided to use the site since I could order through PayPal.
Item took almost 3 weeks to get here, so no points there. I was a little alarmed when the product arrived with no SanDIsk packaging.
Despite this, the card looks legitimate, has a clear serial and tests write/verify 32GB OK with h2testw @ 4.2 MB/s constant. However I'd still have avoided them if I'd known this card would come without packaging. According to the results of a quick Google search this probably means it's OEM channel with no warranty (and probably not for retail sale). It's possible to check the serial with SanDisk, I might do that.
All in all, 2 stars since the item got here and its (afaik) legit. Next time I might wait for a cheap Play.com deal.
Update: Appreciate the personal response; do apologize for the negative review but waiting 3 weeks for a memory card from an e-tailer than you haven't used before is a little bit annoying. Also I didn't receive a dispatch email until the 17th but otherwise, thank you.

I'd just like to thank Moby Memory for their excellent all round service. I ordered a Micro SD as I thought their price was very reasonable. They delivered very quickly. I'm impressed by the website as it was very easy to use too - always a bonus. Thanks, I'll be using them again for sure.

Purchased a couple of items from Mobymemory and received them in a week in a perfect condition. They were worth every pound! I'm definitely going to use them again for my future purchases.

I've been ordering from Moby Memory for over a year, they've always provided a reliable service. I ordered a Micro SD last week and got it today, I'll definitely be ordering from them in future.

Took over 3 weeks to arrive, did not respond to any emails, phone calls or the message service on their website.
The only reason they sent out the cards was because I filed a PayPal dispute.
I think the good reviews below are bogus !

Without a doubt the worst company I have had the misfortune to deal with. A month to receive an SD card is crazy. I doubt I would have received it then without numerous Emails and a threat to cancel my order. Believe me, you do not want to deal with this company.

Have made over 10 orders with Moby Memory in the last 2 1/2 years. Only had 1 problem where the item was severely delayed over Christmas. I got a full refund, the item turned up a couple of weeks later and they said I could keep it! Great service!
Just had to comment. I first used this company around 7 years ago and got great service. Used again for a 16gb card and again truly excellent. Card arrived on time - bargain price and works 100%. So........... I guess either I am a very lucky person or else the company are as good as I think they are. I speak as I find, and find Moby Memory ACE.
I placed an order for a Sandisk 32gb microsd card before reading all the negative reviews.
As you can imagine reading the reviews was a concern so I have emailed moby memory expressing my concerns and stated that is they cannot guarantee the 3-5 days delivery time then they need to tell me.
To be fair I got an email straight back that was very friendly and understanding about my concerns and I have been told my card has been dispatched recorded delivery and I have a tracking number.
A lot of people are complaining about on confirmation email, you do know you get an order confirmation after placing the order on screen to print off?
So far so good for Moby Memory despite the negative reviews I will give them the benefit of the doubt and wait for my memory card to arrive, if it doesn't I will let you all know.
I bought cyclone media player recorder,great product happy with customer service. delivered item in 1 working days impresive service.definately recommand.
I bought a 32gb micro SD card, however, after 3 days it not get to me, was asked to wait 7 days as they needed to conform it was lost before sending a new one out (not my problem but i can undersatnd they cant lose money as well). 7 days later rang up told them nothing, promptly upgrading the card to a class 4 and with me next day. i gess it was Royal mail.
i read the reviews after i ordered a few things from mobymemory.com and was then concerned about whether or not i would recieve the items and the service. however, got the items very quickly (to be exact within 2 days). good prices and good delivery. memorys working brilliantly. could not ask for more. no problems :). definate recommendation.
despite the money being taken immediately the wrong card turned up after 3 weeks of chasing via mostly ignored emails. ordered a Sandisk 32gb but received cheapo generic card so immediately returned for full refund. this was not without effort either and took 2 weeks of emails and finally opening a paypal despute before receiving a refund.
do not go near these cowboys

I ordered a game, but had no email from Moby Memory (Ext Ref removed) either to confirm the order, or to say it had been despatched. I emailed them a week later to ask whether it had been sent, saying I'd heard nothing. A week later, they replied, sending a claim form because they said it had been despatched.
I returned the claim form, and waited. A week later, no response, so I resent it and asked if they'd received it. A week later again, still nothing, so I asked them to just give me a refund. Another week later, still nothing, so I filed a Paypal dispute.
This kicked them into action, and they immediately refunded my money along with the following message:

"your first return back to us as --NOT CALLED FOR
FROM ROYALMAIL --MEANS YOU DID NOT PICK UP THE ITEM.
due to the christmas break and office open on 4th do not help with the delays in answer emails or phone,
there has been breakdown in the internet which has deleted the emails ."

So...
(1) Supposedly they sent it and and was returned to them. Not only have I not had a Royal Mail card through the door, but considering the other reviews here, does anyone really think it likely that they're telling the truth?
(2) "YOU DID NOT PICK UP THE ITEM" all capitalised. Not the most professional way to deal with your customers is it?
(3) The Christmas/New Year break has no relevance whatsoever - the total lack of communication all dates from after the 4th of January.
(4) "there has been breakdown in the internet". Classic, absolutely classic!
So in all, it's full of excuses, and it took the threat of a claim against them through Paypal, before they'd do anything. I cannot stress enough, buy elsewhere!

I ordered a 32gb micro sd on Thursday and it arrived Saturday by recorded delivery.
I was a little dissapointed thet there was no conformation of order but the service was good.
I did panic a bit when I read the reviews but I also remembered people are very quick to complain but dont tend to bother with good feed back.
Thanks Mobymemory for a good service and I would recommend.
I have ordered twice from Moby Memory. Both times goods arrived on time. Memory was a lot cheaper than anywhere eles. However the memory seemed slower than other cards I have used.
Summary - 1) Supplied faulty goods by Mobymemory March 2010, 2) Returned them to Mobymemory April, 3) No communication, no answer to emails, cannot get through on phone (answering machine), 4) Eventually got through to [name removed] on phone (15/07/10) was to sort out but no refund to date. They are rip off artists who supply faulty goods and do not refund money or answer there phones DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM

i ordered a memory card on mobymemory.com before reading there views if i would have read theses first i would not have ordered. After reading the reviews i thought the worst, no card and no refund, but the opposite, i ordered monday evening and the card arrived wednesday in the post, the only thing was the card was a different make to what i ordered but i'm sure that will not be a problem. Can not fault mobymemory and would use them in the furture. I'm sure people have had bad experiences and like to tell people about it but on the other hand it's worth telling people of positive experiences. Thank you mobymemory.
I ordered a 32GB micro SD in May. In July I got fed up at waiting for the order and sent them an email (after trying to call) to cancel the order.
I ordered it elsewhere and got it delivered. Shortly after that when I called again to confirm it has been canceld they said it is now on its way but that there is no problem. I should just return it and they would refund me.
I did, they didnt. They keep saying that the money is going into your account today.

Order memory card was expecting it to be delivered in 3 or 4 days . In the end it didn't arrive until the Tuesday the following week.
Ordered a memory card from this company and they refused to answer all communication it took 13 days to receive the order. They did send one email asking me if I require a refund or send another card, I asked for a refund but they sent another card never did receive the first one I think they were out of stock. Would never use again

ordered a couple of cards on the monday and even though i didnt get a auto confermation for goods dispatched my order was with me next day then realised they were jsut round the corner from me so with a quick phone call they were more then happy for me to pop in to pick up a couple more bits they guys there were down to earth and even though were extreamly busy they were more than happy to help
