It was so simple to sell my phone to Money for your Phone. It was clear what I needed to do at every stage, and they kept me informed when they had received my phone, when I would receive payment, and when they had paid me. The amount I got for my phone was very reasonable, and I think it was more than I would have got selling it on ebay - and much less hassle!
I originally chose this company as they were offering the best value out of all the recycling sites (found via sellmymobile.com). However when I sent the mobile (at my own expense), they claimed there was a fault with the volume control and instead of the original £57 they offered me £20. The volume control "up" was a tiny bit harder to press than the "down" button but it still worked every time you pressed it. What do you expect for a used phone? I thought this was a phone recycling site, why do they care if the volume control is working if the phone is going to be dismantled? The only reason I dont give them 1 star is because they sent me back the phone free of charge after a second person reviewed the "fault".
High levels of cash for mobile exchange, however my free delivery bag never arrived, so I sent it through the post using the alternative details provided.
I'd also recommend that the confirmation email they send you after placing the order contains whether you requested one in the first place & when you can expect to receive the sending bag
I thought I would get nothing for my really old phones. I was pleased to get anything rather than nothing. HAPPY.
I would certainly recommend "Money for your phone" to ANYONE!
MFYP Kept me informed of each process/progress and full payment was paid into my bank in a quick time. Thanks MFYP!
Very easy transaction, decent price paid and money in bank the day given; can't rate more highly
I had a bad experience with Cash 4 Phones. I've used MFYP twice now and the whole experience has been top class. I will only use this company from now on and recommend you do the same.
Good first experience meant I was happy to use them again. This time sent in iphone 3gs which had been my husband's 2nd phone so not used that much, always had screen protector and kept in case. Told it was worth £71 but then they reduced that to £43 because of significant scratching. I pointed out all of the above and told them I had photographed it before I sent it in plus had wrapped well in bubble wrap and used padded envelope. They revised offer to £50 and said oh we meant the scratching was on the back of the phone. I asked for a photo to prove it and they said they could not provide one due to the high number of orders. Having spent over £6 sending it special delivery it's just not worth getting it back and trying somewhere else as if they've scratched it I have no chance and I'd have to pay again to send it. My own photos of the back aren't great quality (wish I'd taken more time now taking them and typical that the photo of the screen shows it is fine) and they are not willing to discuss anyway as have said only options are accept the £50 or they'll return the phone. I'm convinced they do the first order at the price they quote to hook you in then get you like this on subsequent orders.

Communication was straightforward and timely. I was kept informed of what was happening at each stage and received payment for my phone as advised.
It was also free to post my phone in to Money for your Phone.
Basically they did what they said they were going to do and offered me the best price for my phone.
Recycled my iPad 1 with the company and was very happy with the price and with the prompt payment into my bank account - will definately use them again
They offer high quote for your phone, but then offers a reduced offer and if you refuse and ask the phone back, they don’t return the same phone you sent, but a damage phone that they ware describing. I’ve sent my HTC Desire HD which I have been using for two years and know exactly the condition of my phone, but when I got the phone back I was in shock, it was not the phone I sent. I know that you can check your IMEI number, but you can change them too, which I believe they have done.

I found MFYP gave the best price for my old phone on compareandrecycle.co.uk compared to other recyclers available at the time. MFYP did exactly what they said with no hassle at all. Money was paid in to my account on time, but 10 working days to pay me after they received my old phone and confirmed it worked is a bit too long in my opinion, and slower than other recyclers I have used before. Overall I would recommend as reliable, so long as you are not in a hurry to receive payment.
Best prices attainable when I was looking and good communication if a bit slow with payment
Had a bad experience with another phone recycling company so was a little sceptical when using Money For Your Phone.
I completed the online order form, was given a price for my phone, I sent my phone off using recorded delivery & in a couple of weeks the money was deposited into my bank account.
I received e-mails to keep me updated at each stage of the process so on the whole I have had a very positive experience.
My only small complaint is that I would have liked the process to have been a little bit quicker but I guess that you can't have everything!!!
Very good experience with 'money for your phone' they provide a very good service. The only sligh downfall is that there's a long than expected wait to receive your money. But they are accurate in the time they explain when you will get paid. I guess it due to the high number of recyclers.
I would have given 5* stars other wise.
Found this recycling site through a recommendation and was apprehensive about using a postal service. Sent phone off using signed for service but although post office said delivery had been made when I emailed to find out whether my phone had been received I was told no. It took a couple of days and a few more emails before I got confirmation that my phone actually had been received during which time I started to question whether it had been a scam. However payment went through on the date they said it would. Would I use this service again? Probably, yes, but they could do with improving customer communication.
Took a while for them to confirm receipt of the phone. Then when it was confirmed, payment date was set for 2 weeks later. Did get the sum that was promised though.
All worked fine - got valuation, got sent envelope to send phone back in, sent phone, got money. Result!
This was a first for me. Thought there might be a catch somewhere. They quoted me a price and that's what I received.
Highly Recommended.
If you want to get cash for your old mobile phones use this company.....no messing about, does exactly what it says on the tin x
Gave the best price but took over 2 weeks after they received my phone to transfer money! Used other similar sites in the past and they were a lot quicker with payment!
A comparison site listed Money For Your Phone as offering the highest price for my HTC Desire. They sent me an envelope, I posted the phone & within 2 weeks I had my money. Top work.
COULD HAVE BEEN QUICKER - TOOK LONGER THAN THE 10 DAYS QUOTED BUT GOOD SERVICE OTHER WISE.
The quote from website was £75. After relieving my phone they offered me £25 which I rejected. They then offered me £35 which I again rejected. They informed me that my volume button was faulty and didn't meet the required standards as set out in their T&C's. I checked their T&C's and it says as long as all buttons do what they are suppose to do then your quote will stand. Apart from being VERY SLIGHTLY loose (which it is anyway on my phone even when new) the volume still works perfectly.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU HAVE A BRAND NEW IN BOX PHONE.

They are the best at offering the most compared to like websites. However, I was scepticle & dubious with good reason.
When they received the phone I got an email with a reduced offer of £35, which I rejected.
This offer was then increased, which I rejected again and now I am awaiting return of my phone
I am sure there are better companies out there, will keep looking
UPDATE: Well I got my phone back, but minus the orginal packaging and the CHARGER!
Read the T&C, lesson learned

Money For Your Phone'should be avoided at all costs! I am currently seeking advice with regard to taking action against them. My two year old Iphone 4 is in exceptionally good condition as it's always been in a case. No scratches or cracks & works perfectly - far better than you would expect for a phone half its age. I was promised £140, I sent it off which cost me £6 they emailed me a week later and offered only £90 saying that 'lots of visible marks and scratches all around the handset.'
Total rubbish and I rejected their offer and told them to return the phone without delay. I then received an improved offer of £115 - proof in my mind that these clowns were just trying it on. Again I rejected their offer and they have now returned the phone which I shall now put on ebay and expect to get at least £150 for it.
I checked their small print which states that they will pay the promised amount providing there is no damage other than fair wear and tear, my phone fitted into that category easily.
I am only £6 out of pocket but I have wasted 2 weeks. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

Really happy with the trade in service I received from money for your phone. I have used them on 2 seperate occasions now and both times the transaction has been simple and fast.
I was looking to get a New phone, a trade in or sale was an obvious decision and looking at all the offers around this company offered the best, though I was concerned that the best offers are not always the best, my doubts were blown away as the money offered was in my bank within 2 weeks, A Great service in my opinion!
I got a good deal for my old phone (iphone 4) and this company gave me at least £20 more than one of the other big name phone recyclers. Takes a couple of weeks before everything is processed and you receive your cash but otherwise I had no issues at all.
Had an old phone just gathering dust in a drawer and MFYP made it so easy to recycle my phone and the money was in my bank before I knew it.
This company I sold my mobile to, money for your phone, pay the most for handsets, and its paid straight to your bank no hassle, soon as I upgrade my contract phone I send them my old one and get some cash back, it's better than it just sitting in a drawer gathering dust.
Go on do it, send them yours!!
always give the best price but unfotunatley a bit slow on payment
Having not heard of Money For Your Phone my wife was apprehensive about using them. However they were offering the best price so I went for it. Got the free postage envelope quite quickly and sent my phone away. I would recommend using recorded delivery for security although I myself did not use this. I received an email to say they had my phone and quickly received another to say it had been tested. I was given a date fro payment which wasn't too long a wait and it went in as they said with no issues.
.....If you don't mind having to wait a couple of weeks for your payment it's fine. They were the best quote I had.
I hadn't heard of this company but found it when I looked on comparison websites, they were offering the best price for recycling my phone so I decided to give it a go, what did I have to lose?
The company were excellent, kept me informed every step of the way by email and text, everything was processed quickly and was paid the full amount on the day they said I would be paid.
All in all, I have no complaints, I would definately recommend this company to anyone.
heard of this company from my husband,he is a postie and deliverys and collects from them.they could not have been more helpfull and reliable,we were kept informed of progress at all times, transaction went through smoothly and on time, thank you.
