I did a lot of research for selling my mobile phone. This company seemed genuine and one of the best deals too. I can not fault the service. Within 4 days I received an email confirming my phone value and when the amount would be credited to my account.
I have recommend Money For Your Phone to friends already!
I found this company online and the reviews seemed a bit mixed. I completed their order form and sent off my phone. Very quickly I got a confirmation that the phone had been received and my payment was approved. It did take a little while to actually receive the money but it did come within the specified period.
Thanks for the service you gave. I got a good price for the phone and I was updated on the process. I will certainly use you again if I have to recycle a phone in the future.
Right from the start, it was very easy to sell your old phone. You were offered very competitive rates too. You were able to track the selling progress at all times and I was able to know that my old phone was accepted the very next day. I stand by this company who are easily ahead of the rest.
Just sold my old mobile phone to 'Money For Your Phone'. I'd never used them before but the reviews seemed good. They kept me informed, told me what I could expect, and paid my money. Simples!
Would definitely recommend them.
I used MFYP as they quoted the highest price for my Blackberry 9800. I had tried to sell it on Ebay without success. I sent the phone off myself paying for the postage, only because I wanted to speed things up. Got an email the next day confirming they had received my phone, followed very quickly with another email saying they had tested my phone and they would give me the price they had originally quoted. The phone had chips on the top corners and I thought they would try and rip me off by giving me less than the original quote but they didnt. Was advised what date the money would be in my account, it arrived 3 days early. They do say 10 working days for the money to arrive. Very impressed and would use again!
I was reserved at first with using MFYP as I had not heard about them .. But no need, just as good as Mazuma (whom I used 2 years ago last time I had an old phone for recycling). MFYP offered me £40 more than other companies - I sent my phone, they tested it the same day it received and told me when my payment was scheduled. The payment came through as they said. It wasn't immediate but coz they were upfront about it that's no problem. Will def use them again.
Dealing with Money for your phone now was very easy. All i had to do was tell them what model my phone was and they instantly told me what i would get and they even sent me an envelope to send it to them in.
The money was sent straight to my bank account with no fuss.
Great communication and service!
Easy to navigate website with clear instructions.
Already rated as a 4.5 out of 5 stars , I would give them 5 !
I did not need to get in touch with them as they kept me posted via email of each and every development.
Money in the bank 4 days before they said it would be.
Whole process took 21 days from start to finish .
Would recommend and would definately use again.
I chose this company as they offered me the most money for my phone. It was a very quick and easy service. I requested an envelope so that took a few days to come, however, if you wanted it quicker you could just send the item off yourself. As soon as it was received it was tested and I was told immediately the amount I would be getting and when I would receive the money. It was a bank transfer that went straight into my account. The whole process was very simple, very easy and I would highly recommend the company.
I got my quote in mid December, (£119.50) but as my new phone didn't arrive until mid January I didn't send my old phone off until then. I quickly checked the price for my old phone in January and saw that it had dropped significantly. I still send my phone off to MFYP fully expecting them to say that I would get the new much lower price (£77.50).
Much to my surprise they paid the price quoted to me in December, so if you are thinking of selling a phone get a quote now in case the price they offer goes down in the future!
All in all happy with the service, payment too around 2 weeks to arrive after posting my phone off.
I would highly recommend this site as it's easy to use and it was straightforward to send the phone. They replied reasonably quickly to say that they'd received my phone and tested it. All was well and then I waited for my payment. They did warn me it would take a while. Received payment into my bank account within a week no problems.
MFYP gave the bast price on the internet, emails were received stating the phone had been received, the phone had been tested, and the date by which to expect payment. All happened exactly as they said it would and I'd definitely use them again.
It was so simple to sell my phone to Money for your Phone. It was clear what I needed to do at every stage, and they kept me informed when they had received my phone, when I would receive payment, and when they had paid me. The amount I got for my phone was very reasonable, and I think it was more than I would have got selling it on ebay - and much less hassle!
I originally chose this company as they were offering the best value out of all the recycling sites (found via sellmymobile.com). However when I sent the mobile (at my own expense), they claimed there was a fault with the volume control and instead of the original £57 they offered me £20. The volume control "up" was a tiny bit harder to press than the "down" button but it still worked every time you pressed it. What do you expect for a used phone? I thought this was a phone recycling site, why do they care if the volume control is working if the phone is going to be dismantled? The only reason I dont give them 1 star is because they sent me back the phone free of charge after a second person reviewed the "fault".
High levels of cash for mobile exchange, however my free delivery bag never arrived, so I sent it through the post using the alternative details provided.
I'd also recommend that the confirmation email they send you after placing the order contains whether you requested one in the first place & when you can expect to receive the sending bag
I had a bad experience with Cash 4 Phones. I've used MFYP twice now and the whole experience has been top class. I will only use this company from now on and recommend you do the same.
Good first experience meant I was happy to use them again. This time sent in iphone 3gs which had been my husband's 2nd phone so not used that much, always had screen protector and kept in case. Told it was worth £71 but then they reduced that to £43 because of significant scratching. I pointed out all of the above and told them I had photographed it before I sent it in plus had wrapped well in bubble wrap and used padded envelope. They revised offer to £50 and said oh we meant the scratching was on the back of the phone. I asked for a photo to prove it and they said they could not provide one due to the high number of orders. Having spent over £6 sending it special delivery it's just not worth getting it back and trying somewhere else as if they've scratched it I have no chance and I'd have to pay again to send it. My own photos of the back aren't great quality (wish I'd taken more time now taking them and typical that the photo of the screen shows it is fine) and they are not willing to discuss anyway as have said only options are accept the £50 or they'll return the phone. I'm convinced they do the first order at the price they quote to hook you in then get you like this on subsequent orders.
Communication was straightforward and timely. I was kept informed of what was happening at each stage and received payment for my phone as advised.
It was also free to post my phone in to Money for your Phone.
Basically they did what they said they were going to do and offered me the best price for my phone.
They offer high quote for your phone, but then offers a reduced offer and if you refuse and ask the phone back, they don’t return the same phone you sent, but a damage phone that they ware describing. I’ve sent my HTC Desire HD which I have been using for two years and know exactly the condition of my phone, but when I got the phone back I was in shock, it was not the phone I sent. I know that you can check your IMEI number, but you can change them too, which I believe they have done.
I found MFYP gave the best price for my old phone on compareandrecycle.co.uk compared to other recyclers available at the time. MFYP did exactly what they said with no hassle at all. Money was paid in to my account on time, but 10 working days to pay me after they received my old phone and confirmed it worked is a bit too long in my opinion, and slower than other recyclers I have used before. Overall I would recommend as reliable, so long as you are not in a hurry to receive payment.
