Excellent speedy informative service
Good value fast efficient and informative on all asoects of buying and hanging curtains, for example size of rail needed for which size curtains.

Quick service and great value for money.
I ordered four sets of curtains. They arrived promptly and I had good communication about the delivery time and date. The curtains are great value too. I made an error with my size estimation and two of them were too narrow. I called Mostyns who were ever so helpful and arranged an exchange for the curtains with no questions asked.

it's ok
going into the shop is overwhelming. it would be easier to first view small samples of materials to make quick comparisons and to eliminate options rather than browsing loads of hung material - this is at least allowed on-line. The shop is at least useful for seeing the 'bigger picture' in terms of a larger sample.
there's also too many busy patterns on offer, and not enough simple or plain designs/fabrics.
the instructions (PDF) on how to decide what size curtains you need is difficult to understand if you're a novice - it seems odd to have to order 2 very large curtains for a relatively small window - it needs to explain more about what happens when the curtains are pulled and hung and how they will look afterwards
The link on the website to the black-out liners is useless, just pointing you in the same direction as the above mentioned confusing sizing pdf document. Why is it that the blackout liners don't cover the same sizes as the curtains offered? they may be the same drop but what about the width? there's nothing on-line to explain how to make this choice.
no information was supplied with the order on how to pull the tapes on the curtains - you're left to your own devices.
there's not enough filtering options for choices on the website - for example being able to filter out lightweight or shiny materials from others.
when the curtains arrive they're full of wrinkles and creases from being folded flat - there should be some information on how best to get these out and to make your curtains look like the photo on the packet.
ultimately the on-line shopping experience is much like going into the shop - you're overwhelmed with products but there is little real information to help you. I didn't find the staff that helpful if you're not used to ordering formal curtains.

Poor service
I ordered my curtains and it took two weeks for Mostyns to decide that the material was out of stock. What did they do in those two weeks and why take the order if they did not have the material?

Excellent, fast service
The website was easy to use and my curtains were as the illustration. My curtains were shortened to the drop I needed and delivery was during the hour slot I was given. I had the curtains within the week.

Very happy with the service I received.
Tried to buy 3 blinds in my local store, but they didn't have 3 in the colour I wanted, so I ordered on-line, which was easy to do. They even informed me that they would take longer than first stated. More than happy with the overall service I received both in the local shop & with the on-line service.

Great service from Mostyns, excellent communications from point of order through to receipt of goods. Great to deal with and really happy with curtains. Excellent delivery, loved the fact that I could choose the day and having a text to let me know what time my curtains would be delivered was great. Delivery was on time. Would definitely use Mostyns again and many thanks to Denise who dealt with my order from the beginning to the end.

Good service
The service was good,curtains lovely, unfortunately too dark for my conservatory, thats the worst of not seeing the product first, however they are nice and good for the price and I will be keeping them for my two back bedrooms.

Poor service
I am still waiting for my curtains to be delivered. I was told that they are having a stock take and that delivery would take up to 2 weeks. I placed my order on the 4th April, chased them up on the 18th April and now on the 29th April I AM STILL WAITING. This is terrible service.

Good Service No Problems
Ordered a small quantity of fabric, arrived when they said it would.
No problems at all, would definately recommend to any prospective purchaser.
Only down side is that it arrived in a box big enough to fit 100 times the amount of fabric in it.

Good value and great material
I looked for curtains i could afford and where made from good material after looking on verious sites i found Moystens there prices where good there was plenty to choose from and the materials where of good quality plus the sale helped to bring down the cost. The delivery charge was great a lot less than i expected and they where delivered within a couple of days even though i went for the 3 to 5 working days. GREAT SERVICE AND GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY

Customer service on answering questions was very good
I wanted to order a curtain for a door but didn't know exactly what type of lining and heading to have. A quick phone call to Mostyn's and they gave me all the answers with no pressure to buy from them. I did though as the price was very good for a made to measure service.

Lack of communication
i was expecting my order but later noticed on my bank statement that the payment had been returned with no explanation

Thank you for your email and sorry that you feel our communication was poor in respect of your recent order. We do make every effort to keep customers fully informed regarding products ordered.
You ordered a pair of curtains from one of our discontinued range that were discounted by 70% and so selling through rapidly. Due to high demand for these curtains at this discounted price, we were internally monitoring the limited stocks remaining.
Your order was placed on Saturday 23rd March 2013 and was processed by our warehouse on Monday 25th March. Unfortunately, our warehouse found that in fact we had sold the last pair of that particular size earlier in the week and that our systems had not yet been updated. We immediately emailed you at 12.35 on Monday 25th March to apologise that we would be unable to fulfill your order and immediately refunded you in full.
We do endeavour to ensure that our website lists only products that are available for customers to order, but very occasionally, there can be a very short delay in updating out of stock situations and we are sorry that this has occurred in the case of your order. In such circumstances, we will always email customers to inform them and immediately process a full refund to the customer.
From you review, it seems that you may not have received the email which we sent to the email provided when you placed your order and we will therefore resend for your records by both email and post.

Very happy with my curtains, hooray to Mostyns!
Have been looking around town for ages for some new curtains in my hallway and couldn't seem to find what I was looking for until I researched Mostyns. Have used Mostyns twice now and on both occasions I have been very pleased with my curtains, ordered my latest curtains in the sale on the Monday and by Friday they had been delivered and are now up at my window. Excellent service and would recommend.

ordered curtains and nets after trailing around town ,unable to get what i wanted, good value as in the sale,fast efficient service. only annoyance is mostyns stil show on there web site ,as do westfield ,as having a store in derby ,after visiting derby i couldnt find it, i was told it shut down ages ago, if this is so web site needs updating as not to confuse people,and to save petrol and parking costs

Excellent service and great value for money.
Very pleased with these curtains which are even better than I expected. I hadn't realised there was an option to have the length of ready made ones altered at such a reasonable cost. Would definitely recommend Mostyns.

Impressed by Mostyns personal service, far exceeding their competitors.
Staff at Mostyns were exceptional in their approach to our individual needs. The offer of a bespoke solution to encourage our current and future business was gratefully received. They definitely thought 'outside the box' , something lacking in our experience of the industry. Prices were extremely competitive and we were pleased with the quality of the product.

GREAT Value fitted the bill
I am extremely pleased with the my curtains they look great and much improve the room where they have been hung. My only reservation is that the colourways are not totally clear on the website. I thought I was purchasing shades of beige but they turned out to be beige with green. As it it turns out they still look good but it might be a good idea to ensure colourways are clearer on the website. All the same I have no hesitation in recommending Mostyns to my friends.

Left with a neighbour without my permission
The delivery service texted to tell me when the iten would be delivered but the only possible responses were to ask for it to be delivered the next day or to be left with a neighbour. The responses would obviously be read by a computer and there was no number to call or any way of contacting a person. As none of the options were appropriate for me, I texted baxk saying so. Obviously this was not read and the delivery person left my items with a neighbour. I was not happy that this was done without my permission. On top of this, the card they put through my door said the item had been left at number 27 but this was incorrect. I then spent more time finding out which neighbour it had actually been left with.

We have tried a number of couriers in recent years and we do believe that our current choice of courier provides a fast and efficient service which most of our customers find to be very reliable and convenient. Having received your comments, we are going to review the service again to see if additional delivery options may be possible but particularly to see if a telephone number can be provided so that customers such as yourself can easily contact our courier.

Quality curtains at a very reasonable price
Samples arrived within 48 hours of ordering and curtains arrived within four working days. Well worth the wait as they went from box to curtain pole within 20 minutes without any ironing, unlike the ones you buy from the shelf at other stores and spend hours trying to press the creases out of. The lining is good quality and they come with a handy guide on how to hang your curtains correctly. Top marks Mostyns !!!!!!!

As explained, your order delivery time was slightly longer than we would normally achieve which was due to your curtains initially being transferred from one of our other branch locations. I believe that you received your curtains 9 business days following your order when we normally expect to achieve delivery within 2 - 4 business days using our standard carrier service The delay you experienced only happens occasionally but we did fail to keep you updated with the delivery date.
Our procedures are that we aim to reply to any emails within 1 business day, 2 business days at the latest. We are sorry that we failed to meet our own standards in your case and we will do better next time.
However, I think that having received your curtains you are very pleased with them so I hope all is well that ends well.

Cream or White!
Quality of material very good but although colour was called white, it was definitely a beigy/cream colour and therefore not suitable.

fabulous curtains for the price

HIGH QUALITY CURTAINS - FAST DELIVERY - HIGHLY RECOMMEND MOSTYNS!
After viewing the vast range of great products on there easy to use website, I ordered a pair of curtains and two matching cushions from Mostyn's for the main bedroom. It was so easy! I received the curtains and cushions within just a few days (I expected the delivery to take a couple of weeks). The fabric is luxurious, the fit is perfect and the gathers are very generous. The cushions are just spot on!!

After much searching I finally found some curtains on Mostyn's website which looked ideal. The picture wasn't great quality but I ordered them anyway and was pleasantly surprised when they arrived.

Nice curtains
Good quality curtains nicely finnished although colour was not quite as expected probably due to reproduction of picture colours but am able to use them somewhere else, the only grievance i have is that they would not reply to my e-mails when i wanted ask if i could change my order a couple of days after i first placed my order which i am sure would have been possible, very dissapointed with communications.
whats the point in having an e-mail address if you don't read or reply to them.

I logged on, I saw, I ordered - they delivered
Having seen the curtains I wanted in a shop only to find they were finishing their display that day and unable to take orders, I went onto Mostyn's website. Unbelievable choice!! But having already seen and decided what I wanted, put in a search for the pattern name and found exactly what I wanted - not just the style, but also the size. It took a two minute 'phone call to also order a swatch for colour matching paintwork, and that arrived the very next day.
I used standard delivery and the curtains duly arrived just five working days after placing my order.
