We ship around 200 -250 per weeks and the level of service we get from ukmail is disgusting.
I can prove that their driver lie about deliveries and when you contact the offices to sort it out nothing ever happens.
I hear their share prices are rising, so I guess they don't care about losing customers.
We are leaving them and going to a new courier company.
Well I had my motorbike in the shop a couple of weeks ago for some work. The part according to UK mail went to wrong address so I had to be without my bike for 2 days when it only needed to be one. However the part came 2nd day and bike got fixed. But had another delivery today for upgrade phone and came as promised. U can never tell with UK mail
I was awaiting a delivery from my supply company who unfortunately for me have chosen to use UK Mail. First the delivery was due on Friday. When it didn't arrive the company I deal with chased and found out that the delivery van had broken down. Fair enough, these things happen. The delivery would happen Monday. Not ideal but OK I accept they weren't likely to deliver on a Saturday. Monday came and went and I chased the parcels through my supplier. It had been put on the wrong van to heaven knows where. It would definitely be delivered on Tuesday before 12 noon. When it hadn't arrived by 3:00pm I chased to find that the driver had tried to deliver and put a card through the door...a white door....not mine! Mine is a wood look PVC door. He would return later with my delivery. Sure enough 4:15 he arrived with 1 parcel not 2. When | asked where the other one was I got told "I can only deliver what I'm given" I accept that but then he said "Don't waste your money on a timed delivery because I don't reach this area until around 4pm" WHAT???!!! Firstly the timed delivery had been arranged by UK Mail as re-dress for all the previous hassle and secondly, surely if you have timed deliveries which customers have paid for then you re-arrange your deliveries accordingly. It is what he is paid for!!!
So finally, on Wednesday morning I get the 2nd parcel. NOT at the before 10:30 delivery time as stated on the parcel and his delivery sheet because "I didn't leave the depot before 10:30" but instead at 11:15.
Given a choice I would avoid at all costs. Dreadful service and dreadful attitude.
Worde than yodel which i didn't think was possible. It started with them sending me and email close to midnight that they would deliver that day between 8.30 and 12.30 which i instantly thought 'well that's impossible unless you have a time machine'. I phone customer services and spent a tenner for having to wait half an hour and they tell me it will come the same time as it did the day before which obviously I had to ask when they did come because I never had a note put through and they tell me half 2. I wait until 3 and then have to leave. It then comes at 4.30 when no one is in.
Don't send an email saying it will come before 12.30 and then be hours late.
Moving on anyways, day 3, they've sent me yet another lie about delivering it between 8.30 and 12.30 even though its been arranged for us to pick up from their warehouse later.
Just dreadful. This is not how you do business.
This company is worse than useless. When they give you an appointment between 11am and 3pm, they never keep to it. Their agent will come around and drop a note in the box without bothering to ring your doorbell. UK Mail is even worse than DPD, you would think that is impossible, but there you are!
I am staggered at just how bad a service UK Mail actually deliver (well at least they can deliver something)!
Deliveries that turn up several days late or don't turn up at all, 30 mins + trying to get customer support who say they will call back and never do, drivers who have stood and abused me in the street after they messed up deliveries. The list goes on and on!
They need to learn lessons from proper companies like DPD. I will avoid at all costs!
This company is a complete rip off and please do not go near.
it is a mail forwarding service and you pay £70.00 for a year and £2.00 for the service to forward your mail to you.
and trust me you do not get it.
you can contact them and e-mail them with the resopnce it has been posted to you .?but has it not proof it has and when you ask for proof they do not do that service it is the bigges con in the UK that thaty get away with.
so if you are leggit and you realy do want your mail or packages forwarding to you please do not use http://www.my-uk-mail.co.uk/ or you will never see it again trust me you wont and they will charge you for this servece aswell..
