I ordered a macbook pro from apple which Im writing this review on now, I didn't realised they used ukmail but to my surprise they kept to their word and I had next day delivery. However the tracking service broke so I wasn't sure if it was out for delivery or not and started panicking so I rung their customer service and asked, got a very rude man on the phone so I put the phone down and tried their twitter service which was much better. After reaching nearly 5 I thought I wouldn't get it but it suddenly turned up much to my relief!
Overall not a bad experience, just wondering why my parcel was so late as I live close to the depo near me... when you do use them, make sure you pester them so they do deliver on the day they said!
Item was sent palleted, first delivery was missed which is fair enough, card left said 'we will try again tomorrow' which never happened nor the next day nor the next, then when I realised you have to go online to 'manage' your delivery (which isn't clearly stated) I couldn't anyway and had to ring. After 25 min's on the phone I got through and explained that 99% of people work for a living and aren't actually in to sign for a parcel through the day, it was agreed that delivery would be next day after 2pm! was it? no 12.15 was the attempted delivery, after ringing again to have it redelivered for the next day, the sender then rings to say it's back with him? Hopeless staff, hopeless communication, hopeless postage service! do your self a favour and go elsewhere for postage of parcels, lots of decent companies around use one of those rather than these cowboys!

If you need a reliable trustworthy delivery company, I am afraid that you must look elsewhere, since my company established an account with UKMail, they have been nothing but unreliable, problems with deliveries, delivery drivers blatantly lying, numerous problems actually getting them to collect packages from us, and yet more lies from the collection drivers and/or the telephone support team, it is difficult to work out who is lying to you; as you get completely different excuses as to why your packages were not collected depending on who you talk too at the company! We will no longer be using them, as they are just too much hassle to work with.
as most views will give you a hint of what this company is all about, just never do business with them, cannot get in touch with them, very rude staff,extremely poorly run company i'm so unlucky to have my package lost and damaged and of course they are never in the wrong, i hope management takes the time to read this...terrible job.

I had a delivery for pre 12pm. Finally at 1.30pm it came, I found the tracking information was falsified to say delivered at 11.00am. Clearly the driver was given an imposable number of items to get here before 12am (though it was only times out for delivery after 8.30 when the delivery times were between 8 and 12!). The firm must know this happens but I take it are pleased as it makes it very difficult to get the payment back for not delivering in the paid time slot!
The firm I bought from must know how bad they are as they have ignored my complaints to them so are as bad as UKMail.
I used them from time to time for 2 years to reship items to my country from UK. One of my parcels was shipped (was supposed to be shipped) 7 months ago and never arrived. I asked them for so many times to file with the post to check where it is and get compensation if it is lost, but they refused and then ignored my requests. They could not provide any proof that the parcel was ever sent to me so I do not know if it was sent at all and where it was sent. They say it never arrived back to them. Could it disappear?
Paid for an early morning delivery of an item. Been sat in all day waiting and still no delivery at 8.30pm. I have been calling the company all day, and ran up a rather big mobile bill in the process as I was just left on hold, with no sign of anybody answering. I have emailed them several times, and no response to the emails either.
The website has a tracking facility which at present is telling me that my item hasn't left the depot yet, but is also saying that my delivery was signed for at 8am this morning. The information supplied gives a surname of who signed for the parcel, but funnily enough it is neither my surname, nor my partners, or actually any of my neighbours either. No card has been left to say it was signed for by somebody else. My delivery actually required me personally to sign for my delivery, and to show my photo ID too, now since I have both my passport and driving license, obviously whoever "signed" for my parcel couldn't have showed my ID.
I am absolutely disgusted by this company, and would seriously recommend that people steer clear of them. If you order something online and know that this company will be the courier, I urge you DO NOT PLACE THE ORDER!!
I am now out of pocket because of losing a days pay waiting around for them, I have run up a huge bill trying to get hold of them, and I've lost the item I should have received. Extremely angry, and looking to further my complaint about them.
paid for 24 hour delivery of a parcel that we urgently needed (hence paying extra) only to find it not arriving when i tried to call i was on hold for over 1 hour then to be told my parcel was ripped and would not be delivered for another 4 days with no appology and no offer of a refund for my postage and waisted time waiting in and waiting in for another day to see if the parcel arrives then this company have zero customer service skills and quite frankly cannot deliver what they advertise im sure trading standards wouldnt be very happy If you are thinking of using mail uk then i only have 1 recomendation DONT!!!!!!
If you're thinking of placing an online order, check who the supplier uses for delivery. If it's UK Mail, go somewhere else.
I have twice ordered goods for supposedly next day delivery. I accept that there can sometimes be delays for reasons beyond the company's control, but both times they took over a week! The first time the tracking information claimed they had attempted to deliver on the third working day, but that was an outright lie as we were definitely home all day.
The second time, during the recent snowfall they claimed inclement weather. In the time since they were supposed to deliver we received deliveries from DPD, Yodel and Parcelforce, in each case delayed by onlt a couple of days. UK Mail don't answer their telephones or respond to emails. Completely useless!
I have been trying to contact this retarded company for 3 days solid, they don't answer the phone ever!!! I have no parcel and no means of contacting them only options to select a day I can't be in for!!!!!!!!!!!
As for Tesco mobile why don't you use Royal mail so people can at least go locally to pick it up. Ukmail nearest depot is 40 miles away
When will couriers understand people can't be in for every second of the day , I've wasted the best part of two days waiting for these guys but had to do a school run, If I could of got through to them I could have told them to avoid that time. Utterly fed up with them and just about to cancel my order with tescomobile too
I bought a product from a company that uses UKmail services for delivery. The company website told me that the delivery would normally call me the day of the delivery (I was not even sure if it was supposed to be Thursday or Friday!). I was home most of the day but as there was no call I poped out and came home 15 minutes after the attempted delivery to find a useless card stating that they had been there. I tried to call to customer service for an hour without any answer. I also tried to find email address or complaint form on website without any success, Shocking! I would have asked if it possible to pick up the parcel in the evening of the same day. I ended up making my way to the office/storage space, where they told me the driver will have my packet overnight in his car (this is not okay either!), and it is absolutely impossible to give any time slot for the next day's delivery. After arguing with the manager for half an hour he called to the driver to give me a 4-hour slot, when I could expect my delivery next day. Also they rudely said that I'm unreasonable expecting them to call me or providing time slot when the packet would come. I don't know how DPD and RoyalMail manage to provide such a nice service, but this company definitely didn't want to hear of anything like that.
I highly recommend people to avoid the company if they can!!
Sent a parcel by someone off ebay.. Got the first attempted delivery card so day after left a note on the front door to call me as i was not far away.. Driver just removed the note and pushed another card through the door.. Trying to contact the call centre for two days and was on hold for an hour each time and no answer. Avoid this company unless you are sending deliveries to people who are home all day... They obviously don't have the wit of the other delivery companies who will call me if i leave a note... or will leave it next door at my neighbours if they are in.
This company is a complete rip off and please do not go near.
it is a mail forwarding service and you pay £70.00 for a year and £2.00 for the service to forward your mail to you.
and trust me you do not get it.
you can contact them and e-mail them with the resopnce it has been posted to you .?but has it not proof it has and when you ask for proof they do not do that service it is the bigges con in the UK that thaty get away with.
so if you are leggit and you realy do want your mail or packages forwarding to you please do not use http://www.my-uk-mail.co.uk/ or you will never see it again trust me you wont and they will charge you for this servece aswell..

Paid for next day delivery which didn't happen. Phoned at 6pm and told that deliveries were still being made. So stayed in 12 hours plus awaiting non delivery. Rang next day expecting an apology and a guarantee that parcel would come am as priority. No apology and was told that "we gaurantee nothing". Really helpful I don't think. Also was told that they cannot contact the driver, nor are they able to say if he/she is anywhere near my area.
Shambolic company, will check in future if shopping online and will avoid.
