Nice price, lovely lay out...But the website keeps crashing and makes it very difficult to order when it keeps cutting out.
I've been travelling around a lot since June; currently living in Austria and having been away from the gym for the entirety of that time I'd definitely grown to miss it. I found a good gym in my area here and it's great to get back into the routine of a good workout without having to solely rely on carpet push ups and sit-ups. But what was I to do about nutrition? I can find protein sources here in local sports shops but they're fairly pricey and only come in individual form (bars) or fairly small containers for the powders.
I was curious about whether myprotein.com would ship abroad as I'd used their products before when I lived in England and was pleased with just about all aspects of my purchases when it came down to: taste, price, results, size of products etc and wanted to know if I could have that here as well.
I was pleasantly surprised to find they would ship here at a reasonable cost and that it would only be a 2-3 day wait for standard delivery. It arrived even earlier than I expected and thus I wasn't at home. I had it rerouted to my place of work as soon as possible and got the box at work today. I teach - and that awkward time during a non-teaching period that's not quite long enough to go home for lunch in, yet long enough to get bored and hungry in was perfect to just crack open the box then and there and try one of the bars out for myself. It tasted great, as standard for anyone that is familiar with high-protein bars, they took some chewing - so small mouthfuls, and it worked well to satisfy me for the next couple of lessons until I could go home and cook something.
The cardboard box it was shipped in was naturally about five times too large for the box of 12 bars and was thus the rest was filled with airbags, but nevertheless it arrived in good time and it's a quality product. I look forward to chowing down on one each time I finish a gym session in the future and may just come back for more.
As a final note: I got the choc-orange flavour. That's generally a safe bet. I'm just generally a fan of the chocolate and orange combination and while the concept of the mint choc bar is appealing, seeing as it works so well with most other brand chocolate bars, I bought a bag of myprotein's cyclone mix in mintchoc and found it to be absolutely vile. But each to their own I guess.
Order took two weeks to arrive. Although marked to leave behind porch door the parcel was taken to the sorting office to be signed for (wouldn't have ordered if I'd known.) Parcel tracking doesn't work on website if Royal Mail selected. I've experienced far better from Amazon.
This isnt the first time I have used My Protein but yet again I find that they dont give a monkeys when they have your money. The courier companies they use are nothing short of useless. They must be the very cheapest of the cheap.
I placed an order 12 days ago and it still has not arrived. I emailed Myprotein 4 days ago to ask where it was (as the courier tracking service is totally useless) and they still haven't even acknowledged my email. I cant believe this company charge for delivery when they offer service like this. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!
I love this company. I've always been impressed by the products that I have bought to aid my training and recovery as well as helping my live a healthy lifestyle. The marketing works too - so many tempting deals. In fact if I had my own way I'd have a garage full of products. The only thing that bugs me is the thought of how much profit they make on the standard priced product if they can offer so many deals - good business sense! Delivery has always been reliable and fast which is a must! The quality of the products has always seemed very good to me. I'm no professional body-builder but I'm a CrossFitter and recovery is very important for me which is always speedy when using the right MyProtein products.
Received order promptly, very competitively priced. However the total protein strawberry and cream powder tasted terrible and was unable to drink, by far worst protein i have ever purchased. Creatine was slightly better but not by much. The pre workout energy shots compared to other leaders in the market, were abismal, did abosolutley nothing for me. Very cheap but then you do get what u pay for, poor quality.
Order my peanut butter and it arrived burst inside the box, leaving me with 2/3 left. Found out this is common.
Every other part of the service is superb. Shame about the shipping.
Myprotein offers good quality protein at a hugely competitive price - It is a pity that their free delivery catered for by Yodel is absolutely APPALLING. My last four orders have been delivered by this company and even though the instructions were to leave the box at the reception to my flat complex if I am not in, every single time the delivery company has just left the boxes outside. If it were not for this, Myprotein would be getting 5 stars!
My order had apparently been dispatched but the tracking number wasn't working, therefore I've contacted customer service by email but no one got back to me until I had to call them !!!
I Finally received it after another order got placed and the quality of the product is OK.
I placed my order on a Monday evening and received it on Wednesday, as specified on the site. It was a large bag of powder for the price, much cheaper than other brands. I was pleased that the site specified which courier companies they use, as this meant I was able to avoid having the product delivered by Yodel. The other delivery company (DPD I think) charged about 70p more, which is well worth it to avoid the terrible service from Yodel.
Started using myprotein some time back when they first got going. If you ordered something on a Monday it would be dispatched that day, or on the Tuesday and you'd get it by Wednesday. Now if you order on a Monday the order might not even be picked in the warehouse until Wednesday or Thursday.
I understand their need to grow the business, but they've fallen into the same trap experienced by a lot of companies who expand very quickly. Their infrastructure hasn't kept pace with demand and they are swamped and not able to keep up with their order book. Their customer service is also poor. Although they respond quickly, they don't actually tell you what is going on. A vague sometime this week and sorry about that isn't really much use.
Although amazon is far from perfect, they manage this side of things far better and on a much bigger scale.
They need take a look at improving the back office as a priority to avoid more people like me who are now looking round for an alternative supplier.
As a repeat customer I was disappointed by my recent order taking almost a week to arrive despite qualifying for free next delivery.
Also, I placed my order on 9th January 2011 and despite being charged for the entire order, I am still waiting on 26th January for one item within the order.
I have received nothing explaining that the product was out of stock or a refund....not impressed. Will be using BulkPowders.co.uk for future orders...
Ordered on the 9th January 2012 and its now the 25th January and still not got my order. Yodel said they came and I wasn't in. They said that they left a note but they didn't. Emailed my protein two days ago and they still haven't emailed me with regards to my order. Poor service!!!!!!!!!!!
I've bought from MyProtein before, and the prices are good, and the products are OK.
But recently, I ended up at a page on their website that offered me a "Custom Bundle" I spent time putting together a bundle - but when I clicked the Add to Basket button it kept taking me to an empty basket.
I emailed their customer service asking for advice and received no response whatsoever. The good reviews here are all from people who got what they ordered and are pleased with the price. If you ever have a problem - don't count on getting it sorted.
I've used Myprotein a few times before with no major problems sometimes delivery takes a bit longer than expected. But I ordered 3 products 3 weeks ago and only two were packed in the box when it arrived.
I emailed them straight away to say it was missing, but it has taken 3 weeks! and i still haven't received the stuff I have paid for. Seriously how long does it take?! BAD customer services.

Good products but had a few problems with delivery, paid for priority delivery expecting next day, i ordered early in the morning yet arrives 2 days later. Apart from that all good!!
Have contacted shipping agent twice but no response. Agent says no record of order.
I ordered 2 items, one turned up the week after ordered the second item has still not turned up 15 days after ordering even after paying for 2-3 day delivery, I contacted customer services and refunded the delivery, but still no delivery of item and now nobody answering the phone, very bad service and would not recommend this company to anyone wanting a prompt and helpful service...

The quality of the protein that I have tried is the same as an expensive brand protein. The flavours are dalicious as well. So I think if you need a healthy way to improve your level without bad side effects at a good price, these protein products are a must.

I have been using MyProtein for over 3 years now and recommended them to many people however I have never had to use their customer service before now.
I ordered two products, one of which turned up but the other was not send and instead I was sent a completely different product in a different flavour which cost less than the original item I ordered.
After searching through the myprotein knowledge base, I immediately took photos and noted all details down in a request to customer support. It was about 5 days before I got a reply (after sending numerous emails) saying please send us the details and photos of the evidence even though I had already done this. So I sent the original email again and they replied the day after saying I have 3 options. I wanted to know more information about the first option and whether I would get a refund for the difference of the products instead of just a 10% discount voucher (I already get 10% off for the NUS discount so I doubt I will even be allowed to use two discount codes so completely useless for me). They ignored my email and about 10 emails after this requesting further information. They sent me the 10% off voucher two days ago which I have to use in the next 3 months even though the products I received will last me longer than 3 months! So now I'm stuck with products I do not want but I have to use as I could not wait any longer (over 2 weeks) to wait for a new product, a 10% off code which I cannot probably cannot use due to NUS code, and I'm about £6 out of pocket because I was sent a cheaper product and was charged for the more expensive one. I am sending emails on a daily basis now but still getting no reply. I refuse to ring up because I will be charged even more for the phonecall!!
Overall, a shocking experience considering have been a loyal customer for such a long time. This has completely put me off ordering again because I don't know if this will happen again and I will be left out of pocket again!

Can't fault the products, there cheap but of high quality both nutritionally and in taste!
The only problem is that I was offered free delivery due to spending £50+ and I get an e-mail from yodel basically saying the real terms 'the driver couldn't be arsed to drive down/park and walk down our road to deliver it'. Due to the fact I needed the products there and then, I had to ask my flatmate to drive me to the other side of Bristol to the Yodel deport to pick it up (defeating the point). Personally I have never had this problem with DPD and notice that there services are also used by MyProtein. It would be ideal if the same free service when £50 or £100 is spent could be offered through DPD.

the quality of the products from MyProtein.com are excellent however on my first order I was sent a very small bag of dextrose instead of a 2.5kg bag of banana whey protein (even though the whey protein was written on my delivery note). I emailed myprotein using the website and was sent an email about 3 or 4 days later asking me to send photographs of the incorrect item. I did this and the email kept bouncing back at me . . .I contacted them again using the website and was given an alternative email address to do this again and I have emailed this email address twice now and have not received an answer.
However, I have ordered 5kg bags of whey protein and received them correctly without any problems so I think this is just a one off problem.
Caffeine pills that do the job for a great price, swift delivery .
Only issues was it took over a week for the goods to arrive. I live in the R.O.I. but it shouldn't have taken that long to arrive. Also I never got the email saying the goods had been passed onto the courier company so I could track the goods either.
Happy with the goods that I ordered though which is the most important thing but I should have kept more up to date with the progress of my order which didn't happen.
I have had several problems with orders not turning up,and kept waiting for orders with no or very little communication from My Protein.Will seriously consider where I place my next order.
I ordered my products on a Monday and chose "next day delivery". It took a week for MP to ship my product. I emailed MP and asked them why I didn't receive my product the next day after paying extra for next day delivery and received a pathetic email explaining their stocks were low. As far as I'm concerned, if stock was low I should have been notified before I purchased. I wasn't offered any compensation what so ever and rate the customer service at MP a low 3/10. Not a happy customer and certainly will be going elsewhere for my gear in future!
My first time ordering from Myprotein.com and i will be ordering again! i ordered my stuff on the monday it was at my house by tuesday morning and amazingly packaged! and even came with a money off voucher! very happy!
MP seems to offer good value for money and the site is easy to use and the user comments are invaluable but it is very noticeable that MP restricts its own comments about its products giving the impression it is afraid to make an claims for effectiveness - it would be useful to have more info from MP on each product
Great products which deliver exactly what is required of them, speedy delivery and overall excellent quality!
I regularly buy from MP - always deliver as promised. Products are good wuality and some (especially the Almond Nut Butter) are great value.

Waited a week after ordering until opening a ticket on their helpdesk heard nothing for 5 days after that.
Myprotein provides everything anyone could want for attending a gym. With cheap prices and very quick and effective delivery services I see no reason why i should ever stop using the website. However, I may decide to stop going gym and be fat... then i won't need any products.
