Took delivery of a 2nd attempt delivery. Went out to meet the van, driver opened his door leaned out, put my parcel on the floor and shouted, "come and get it"! I wish I'd stayed indoors. Told him manners go along way and to get off my property. Had previous very frustrating experiences with Yodel. My heart sinks when companies use this courier.
Ordered a 300 pound synthesiser and as im a student its difficult to get that sort of money
So as i mentioned im a student so today i sat at home all day waiting for my delivery missing lectures and i made sure to leave my living room door open and the tv on quietly so i wouldnt not hear the door.
At 2 o clock i checked the tracking and they had updated my account to say "Customer changed address".....
Tried called the number and its just automated nonsense providing no answers to my problem. Also on the website it gives you no information to what depot my product would be at
Ridiculous company. I also emailed the email@example.com which they seem to comment on all these posts saying to email and i still have not recieved a reply
I received an email a few days with tracking number for my parcel that i was expecting which said it would be with me within 2 days, having waited 3 days i went online to track the parcel and found that it had been delivered......just not to my address and no one can tell me where my parcel is and why this has happened in the first place as the county in which it has been delivered to is not similar in anyway at all. I phoned and spoke to someone regarding this and was told someone would be in touch with me later that day....24 hours later and still waiting and of course because its a weekend it is now closed till Morning. The response is not good enough or acceptable.
I ordered goods from very.co.uk which should have been delivered by Yodel on Monday. End of the day came and no delivery. There tracking system said it had been loaded on the van at around 8:00am and back off the van at 8:00pm. Why then did it not get to me. Tuesday morning I called and they told me it had been loaded on the van again at 8:30am and would be with me that day. 9:00pm came and still no parcel....no further updates on the tracking system. I called them on Wednesday to be told that it was in the distribution centre but had never gone out for delivery. I asked why and they said they were sorry but they could not see a reason why it had not been delivered. I was assured it would arrive on Thursday. I wasn't at all surprised when it got to Thursday evening and still no package. So I called again and they suggested I call the driver on their mobile. I asked why I should spend any more of my money making calls to fix their problem. I was told that was the only answer or I should just wait. Friday morning I went on live chat and this time gave my mobile number and the operator assured me I would receive my package and that the courier would phone me to confirm the delivery time. I have sat at home all day. It is now nearly 5pm and not only is my package not here but I have not received a call from anyone.
To make matters worse I have contacted very.co.uk to cancel the order and get a refund and they tell me that as this is a 'missing' item they will have to do an investigation which will take up to 21 days and until that is done they cannot send a replacement or refund my order. Thanks Yodel. This is not the first time you have messed up on my deliveries. I will make sure it is the last. I will most certainly not be using you or any company that uses your services again.
*I should add I have just been advised that Yodel's tracking system is broken and they cannot help to locate my package until it is fixed. This is getting comical!

I always leave the porch unlocked when expecting a parcel but dopey husband arrived home then went out again locking up, Durrh !!! But my yodel guy hid parcel behind big plantpot and pushed a note through letterbox, saved a load of hassle, thanx

the last few days i have had 3 deliveries from Myyodel, spot on deliveries all 3 times polite delivery man, and the e.mails are a bonus telling when the delivery will take place. Keep up the good work. s young Dovercourt essex.
Ordered an inflatable sofa bed from Amazon. MyYodel will not give you any clue about when delivery will be so you have to stay in all day. I stayed in until 1 pm on the Friday and had to go out. Delivery attempted and card left. Card stated that for residential addresses would re-deliver next day - Monday to Saturday. Stayed in all day Saturday, no delivery. Telephone help line not available on weekends. I went online and ordered re-delivery on first available date it allowed me - Tuesday. They re-delivered on Monday, and only by sheer luck I was there. Telephone helpline woman deeply unpleasant with attitude. Avoid like the plague. SHe probably has to endure countless angry customers. Recommend DPD - excellent.
I ordered an item from Bissel Direct.com on 23rd August. The item was of minimal cost and at no time was I informed that a signatue would be demanded before it would be delivered. After the first red card (failed attempt at delivery) I managed to talk to a real person (wow....but it did take ages to get through, and mainly because their automated system does not work). I explained that IF THEY really needed a signature they could deliver after 17.30hrs next day (or any day). The operator said he would leave a note, but it was up to the driver!!!! I am left wondering who is running this company???? A bunch of total idiots I fear! Anyway, I now have 4 (yes four) red cards and still no parcel, due to the fact that the telephone system and web-site used by this company are absolutely hopeless.
I have contacted Bissel and they said they would tell Yodel that a signature is definitely not required and it can be left in a safe place!
If someone from Yodel reads this.....please can I have my paid for belongings? They are not yours they are MINE!!!!!!
I came back from holiday on sun 1 sept to find a card saying they had called on Sat 31 Aug, so i contacted them on line like it says and re-aranged delivery for Wed 4 Sept as that was the only day i would be in. So they came Mon 2 and Tue 3 and when i phoned for another delivery i was told that it was up to the driver wether he would deliver again, the lady said they would re-deliver thu 5 so i have waited and have just called and they have said "the driver could not find the parcel".
So i asked why do they have a re-delivery system on line if they are just going to ignore it and SHE HUNG UP.
Got next day delivery it was great:) Everything was great except they delivered my parcel to a neighbor with out telling me which one :/ But thanks to yodels great support team I found out where it was in no time, yodel is a great service and their customer support team are very polite.
I ordered my flip flops on Saturday and they arrived this morning (Monday)
Excellent service I was kept informed about despatch and delivery throughout the process by email and text.

Waited in all day Saturday 31sr August for non exsiistant delivery even although they said they tried to deliver. Saw it was out for delivery today 30 minutes hanging on th phone still no joy. This was paid to be a Saturday delivery Fat Chance Total rubbish service
Track the parcel online shows the address as home number 51 and has no option to re-deliver the consignment.
Phone number option does not recognize the house number 51 and so ends the call with no option to do anything else.
Surprise! Surprise! I need to travel 100 mile round trip to Aberdeen to collect the consignment myself as they have no contact information to speak to any employee.
I placed an order with a company which was despatched 2/8/13. I received it this morning 3/8/13.
I did not pay for next day service and the driver was very pleasant, wishing me a good morning.
And I have not had any problems with a Yodel delivery before either.
My parcel was due yesterday which i paid extra for EXPRESS DELIVERY. No sign of it yet and no contact made to me via email, text or phone to advise of the delay. I don't care if its only a day late, it's now about Principle. I have not had any contact made to me whatsoever and the tracking number provided to me is rubbish.
I will not be letting this go. It's only the start ! Unless i can make contact with Yodel within 24 hours or they contact me i will pursue via legal action to both parties involved. I don't know if my parcel has gone missing but i know it certainly wasn't delivered to my address as i was home ALLLLL DAY ! THEIR COMMUNICATION IS DIABOLICAL !!!
I know i'm not the first to experience the worst courier company by far, BUT i know I won't be the last either. My sympathy to those who have yet to experience the true nature of their inadequate service.
To Yodel, i expect an URGENT UPDATE as to the whereabouts of my parcel which i have purchased regardless how big or small.
My package should of been delivered to No.132 but instead was delivered to a "neighbour" at No.34 (100 houses away) - the delivery driver obviously cannot read and MyYodel says he is now out of the area and cannot collect/redeliver, please contact your seller.
Having done this - an investigation is now open which may take several weeks to complete.
I have since tried the delivery address where MyYodel says it was delivered - only to be told they have no knowledge.
Once again left waiting all day for a parcel that failed to materialise , sent to the wrong depot apparently , no offer of a refund for fee paid , at least it wasn't stolen like the presents at Xmas this time , myyodel I expect my money returned and more than a garbled apology left on my answer machine
I have had two experiences with Yodel and I'm appalled.
The first time, the delivery driver rang the bell, threw the package half under our doormat, and ran. As I got to the door to see it, I shouted after him "Excuse me" and he continued running. I called the customer services to inform them who apologised and said they need to speak to this fool's manager, as I was supposed to have signed for this package!! We live in a rough area and wouldn't trust a package outside even for 10 minutes.
It seems the fool didn't get enough of a telling off, as he was back. This time leaving a red card through our door to say we'd missed it, but he'd rushed off again immediately. On the card, he had left all information blank and there was no way to arrange a redelivery so we had to pay to arrange one over the phone! (We do not have a home phone). I even typed the Reference number as it is printed on the actual card but the website had a repeat error message!
My parcel is stuck in a depot in Loughborough and there is no way to speak to any live person about it. All the phone numbers are automatic and won't process my call as I don't have a number they ask for - the card they left when trying to deliver parcel did not have this number on it. What can I do ? an expensive parcel is going to be lost at worst or at best sent all the way back to USA from UK.
Today (Fri ) I was in the position of taking 2 deliveries from Yodel.One was at my son's house and the other at my home address .My son's delivery came within the allotted time slot and the 2 men were pleasant and efficient although seemed a little rushed.The 2nd was unexpected as I only ordered it on Monday and so I was pleased at the speed of it.The man was polite and pleasant .Whilst I can only report my deliveries it is only fair credit is giving where credit is due.
After ordering quite an expensive item from an online reatailer tha I have used for many years I spoke to them yesterday & was advised my item would be leaving & should receive it today.
After looking on Yodel website last night it showed the item in transit & then thismorning I'm unable to track it at all, what's going on Yodel!!!!!, where is my parcel

These guys used to be called HDNL. They were woeful. You can read about how poor service was then. Instead of rectifying any aspect of a uniformly terrible company, the management just changed the company's name. That demonstrates the rat-like thinking of the company's management.
The only thing they deliver is wasted time. I've just spent a Saturday morning stuck indoors waiting for a redelivery of an order from USC that's failed to show up. This is the last in a number of failed deliveries from a number of different online stores that use this poor poor company. I live in an average street in London where no other couriers have any trouble delivering parcels. It's just this bunch of numpties.

I place orders from a company that use yodel. sometimes i get the parcel sometimes i get the card every time you go on yodel website the card number says oops a problem you cannot contact them without the card number this is very frusrating so now on day two of cards i have contacted the company who use them to tell them i am taking my custom elsewear. DO NOT USE YODEL

THEY LOST OR STOLE MY VERY VALUABLE PARCEL! THEY SAY ITS BEEN DELIVERED BUT ACTUALLY NOT!!!!! I REQUESTED THE PROOF-MY SIGNATURE,THEY STOPPED ANSWERRING !!!!!! DONT EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR, IT's ---10000000000 STARS. AUTHORITIES SHOULD INVESTIGATE WHAT THEY DO!!!
Yodel was supposed to be delivering my phone from Carphone Warehouse. After being told via txt of a delay with the delivery it wasn't the best start. I received a txt the next day with my tracking details and then just a few minutes later another txt with a different tracking number. I tried both on the Yodel tracking page and of course neither worked! Tried both contact numbers and as expected just an instruction to tell me to use the website...which doesn't work. Like previous reviews I too am wondering when or if it will arrive at all! Wish companies as big as Carphone Warehouse were not using Yodel as they are clearly a cheap option and judging by Carphone Warehouse Trust Pilot score this is effecting their customer service as well!

Ordered item on Thursday morning received it today. I received full email tracking throughout and it was delivered in perfect condition by a very polite and helpful driver. I couldn't be more impressed with the service as I was told when I ordered the item it would be with me in 3-5 days!! Top Marks to the Mitcham depot.
Worst courier EVER!!! I can't believe these big companies use them; I'm guessing because they're cheap.
Any company that tells me they use yodel will be shunned by me!
Very Angry indeed and looking at these reviews I'm clearly not the only one!

starting to feel harassed by arrow xl (or yodel as they are known as)that's the 9th email and text you have sent me now and had 3 phone calls and a voicemail after confirming i want it delivered tomorrow-.- as much as i like to be informed and texted, i don't need to be bombarded with the confirmation time that many times... recived my parcel on time, but really that was to be expected as you can hardly 'loose' a little tikes playhouse, the guy that delivered it was weird and tried to flirt with me, wouldnt recomend it to anyone unless you like your phone going off 24/7 with the same messages,and your email account going off too..also the parcel left the worchester hub at 1.31am.. CLEARLY that was rubbish as what delivery company delivers at that time LOL
