Well priced, well made and no problems
Takes time to build the sofa but its not hard, would be better if all the parts are marked, not all of them are.
most of the time is working out what bit goes where.
I build it on my own and took about 4 hours with a few tea breaks lol

Brilliant sofas for narrow staircases!
This was our second purchase from Nabru. We live in a 3-storey town house, with the living room on the first floor and closed staircases, so have no hope of getting traditional sofas upstairs. We first bought a huge L-shaped corner sofa and were so pleased with it, we have just added a small 2-seater sofa for the other side of the room. The sofas are easy assemble (if you follow the instructions!), are hard-wearing and very comfortable. The under seat storage is also very useful and easily accessible. The sofas were delivered on time and represent excellent value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Nabru.

Nice sofa, but hard to assemble
The sofa is comfortable and well made. The company provided a good, fast service and communicated well.
However, I wish I had paid for it to be assembled. The instructions are OK, but not amazing; the pictures were a bit tricky to understand and the instructions had to be followed in a non-linear order which made the process confusing at times. It took me 3 hours working alone to assemble my corner sofa.

It does what it says on the tin.
It was fairly easy to assemble and when I did get it a little wrong the videos on you tube were very helpful. This was perfect for me as I have very narrow stairs which would not accommodate an assembled sofa of the size we wanted. Sofa is comfortable and I have had no problems to date. Very satisfied with my purchase so far :)

Outstanding Service from Start to Finish
I was looking for a sofa for my first floor flat, I have narrow stairs and corridors so Nabru was an amazing find, the selection on the site was great and easy to make. After the order was place it was first confirmed on email and the next day by phone. On the day of delivery the driver called when about 30 minutes away, was very helpful too. After unpacking and taking to the room for assembley it took about an hour to put together. Cannot fault their service

Not as essy as it looks!!
To begin with I paid extra to have it delivered to room but when the driver arrived he said he was only supposed to leave on the pavement he did relent so not good start. No instructions with the delivery and watching the video to follow how to put sofa bed together is not as simple as is made to look!! It took four people a good couple of hours to construct it. As for putting the wood inside the seats well on the video it is made to look so simple but it was incredibly hard.
It is very solid but would help if the wood could be put in before delivery and much clearer instructions

We are sorry to hear that you had some problems with the delivery of your sofa we believe that the problem that you had with the instructions was most likely caused by the courier not carrying in the instructions with the parts (we always include 2 sets of instructions with every delivery, one on the outside with the packaging and one with the parts). We have raised this issue with the courier company.
Should the instructions ever be missing, for whatever reason, we are always happy to immediately email these to you.
If you have any specific feedback on how we could improve our instructions that would be really helpful.

Not as comfy as I though
Great idea, perfect if live in flat. But no where near as comfortable as I thought.

We are sorry to hear that you are not finding your sofa as comfortable as you thought, we wonder if this is because you are finding the seats firm? When are sofas are brand new the seat foams are quite firm, this is because we have chosen the density and firmness of the foam such that our products have longevity, typically with a few weeks of normal use the seat foams will soften and reach their long term comfort level.
It is also worth noting that we offer a softer seating option (just a few pounds more) and a comfort guarantee which means that you can return your sofa if you are not happy with its comfort.

Excellent service, fantastic idea
What a great idea and simple to construct when it arrived. Great quality and ideal for what my daughter wanted in here bedroom. The hardest job was choosing from the large array of options and colours/materials. Delivery was spot on. The only thing I was surprised at was that the pallet was dropped at the front door and that was it - I had a pallet to dispose of? that said, overall, excellent service and quality product, clever idea and would definitely consider purchasing another product.

We thought that we would contact you regarding the pallet, generally if you take the parts off the pallet whilst the driver is there (typically just a few minutes work) the driver will take the pallet away with them, failing that we can organise for the pallet to be collected.

Sofa bed and sofa assembly videos misleading, but still, happy with product
The videos on how to assemble the sofa and the sofa bed, are really misleading as it is not as easy as it looks. Putting up the frame together was a doodle. But getting the wooden panels in the seating cushions or the cover over the armrests took us forever, as it is very, very tight. Other thing that was misleading was the sofa bed frame. The video shows a sofa bed frame with only two well placed holes. Our frame had at least a dozen holes of different size and shapes on each side. It wasn't easy figuring out which ones to choose and how high we had to raise the frame before screwing into place. It'd be nice for Nabru to update their videos with more accurate ones. Anyway, we're happy with the end product.

As regards the videos on the site we are not suggesting that you will be able to assemble the sofa in this amount of time, they are intended to give somebody a quick overview of what is involved in assembly, most people lose interest after a few seconds let alone many minutes, but there are some previous customers who have filmed the entire assembly process and posted this on youtube if you are interested.
The covers need to be tight, you would be unhappy with a finished sofa that ends up with baggy seat and arm covers, we do provide some helpful hints on how to fit these.
We source our sofa beds from different locations so some of them have just two holes and some have quite a few holes, the instructions have detailed pictures which show which holes to use for the latter type of mechanism. However the point you raise here is a good one and we will look to see if we can highlight the relevant holes on the bed mechanism in future.

Could not fault Nabru - and I am a VERY picky person
Ordered my Nabru sofa and braced by self for what normally happens when you order things in the UK - lots of hidden charges and delays on delivery.
To my delight, no hidden charges, no delays on delivery absolutely no complaints from me.
The sofa arrived on time, I paid to get it set up and that was done and dusted in 15 minutes. It looks good and is comfy.

fantastic sofa bed, poor delivery service.
I ordered a sofa bed from the website. But because of my postcode I could not get someone to assemble it for me. When it arrived it came in pieces on a pallatte. The delivery driver left it on the pavement outside my garden as he was unable to even help me take it into the house. I then had to open it all out on the street and take it in bit by bit. I'm sure a well built man wouldn't have struggled as much as I did being a small lady. Apart from that, once I finally managed to assemble it (after having to call a friend round to help out as it's impossible to do alone) the sofa bed looks fantastic. Well designed and is exactly what I asked for. The suade effect fabric I chose is lovely. Can't fault anything else.
As for the reply Nabru left, I was not offered the service to get it delivered to the room I wanted it. I wouldve taken it knowing full well I would struggle to do it myself.

We believe you selected the delivery to door service (free delivery) where our courier will wheel the pallet (we email and call all of our customers prior to delivery so they know exactly how the goods will arrive) as close to the door as they can depending on access, you then need to carry the parts in.
It sounds as though the delivery to room service (an extra £30 where the goods are carried into your room) which is also available to all of our customers at checkout would have suited you better.

Very good!
Ordered a corner sofa bed with Nabru and found the whole ordering and booking the delivery process very easy! Was impressed by the amount of choices of colors and fabrics. On the delivery day, they rang us half an hour before they arrive to avoid us waiting around. You can choose either to get it delivered on the front door or in the room, we strongly recommend to choose the latter if you are not living on the ground floor! It was a bit tricky to assemble it so if you do struggle with this sort of task, I would recommend to pay the extra! Other than that, we are very happy with the sofa and would strongly recommend Nabru :)

Excellent sofa bed, iffy instructions.
Sofa ordered for next day with supplement paid for afternoon delivery. The delivery was actually in the morning. I received a pallet outside my front door with sofa components on it.
The how-to for putting it together had pictures missing critical bits of information for the metal sofa bed, such as which way round to install it. The online videos were better. Both omitted the washers. Both also underplayed just how hard it was to slide boards into cushions. That was hard.
However, I got it built single-handed and the sofa bed itself is excellent.
I would recommend them.

We spend a lot of time on the instructions for our products and are constantly striving to improve them - we have only recently released a number of updates. We will look to see how we can improve the sofa bed instruction comments in the light of your feedback, however we would say that the orientation of the bed is indicated by the diagrams that show the side brackets, we will consider whether we can make this clearer.

Excellent
I hunted high and low for a sofa that would fit into my very small lounge,and was despairing at finding anything that would fit.Then I came across Nabru! I was very suspicious at first,everything seemed to cheap to be any good,but after reading other reviews I decided to give them a go. No problem with designing and ordering and everything arrived ok.My son put it together for me and he completed it in about 3 hours,though he did complain all the way through it.All I can say now its done is "Fantastic" fits beautifully in my lounge and feels solid and well made.Its also a bonus that covers are washable and new ones can be bought easily,but the best thing about this company is that you can buy something to fit in a very small space.Its a lot better made than the rubbish from DFS that I previously owned and cost twice as much.So take my advice and Buy,Buy,Buy.You won't be dissapointed.

ONLY 1 ADVICE FOR NABRU MARK THE RIGHT SCREW HOLES, TO FIT BED FRAME, WITH A BIT OF WHITE PAINT, AS THERE ARE SO MANY HOLES, IT TOOK US 3 ATTEMPTS BEFORE WE HAD THAT RIGHT!!

Great product and speedy service
We're really pleased with the product and service...there were lots of styles and fabrics to choose from and it was really easy to get into our basement conversion which has a narrow staircase. It's not the most comfortable bed ever but our's is just for occasional use and so is more than adequate and at a good price. The order was turned around quickly and delivered on time and so we didn't have to wait for weeks. Would definitely recommend it.

Great product and service
Very happy with my purchase.
Very efficient delivery Service, I was contacted 30 mins prior to delivery. The instructions were very easy to followfollow and anyone with very basic assembly skills would build one of these sofas within the hour.
The Alto 3 seat black has a very solid look to it and looks great in my garage converted man cave.

Put it together while baby was having a nap - handy
My 4 year old daughter and I (true flat-pack afficionado's) put our 3 seater chaise longue sofa bed together while my 1 year old was having her afternoon nap. The delivery driver helped us get the package into the garage and the rest was easy. Like lego for grown ups and very very comfortable and sturdy. We had 5 adults sitting on it last weekend and it has shown no ill effects. Our bar room in the loft is accessed up 2 flights of winding stairs so no other sofa bed was going to do the job of getting in there and being comfy. Looking forward to going to sit on it now with a couple of beers!

Great sofa but get a freind to help put it together.
Bought a sofa bed. Looks great although we haven't used it as a bed yet.
Delivery was when Nabru said it would be despite the snow drifts... Well done.
Unfortunately construction was complicated because there were no instructions. The online videos make it look a lot simpler than it is.
However, one phone call and the full instructions were quickly emailed to me.
Hardest part was putting the covers on the arms. it was quite a physical test.
Overall I was very happy and would not hesitate to buy another one.

We apologise that you did not receive your instructions with your sofa, that should not be the case, we always include two sets of instructions with every sofa that we send out, one on the outside with the delivery label and another amongst the parts. We can only assume that the instructions were somehow removed by the courier during transit. We are always available to email instructions to you at a moments notice.
Regarding the arms, these are deliberately a tight fit as the finished product looks much nicer when the arm covers are a snug fit, we do include hints on how to fit the arm covers.

Great product v speedy service
I paid to have couch delivered in the morning but didnt arrive till after 6pm because delivery van broke down. This extra payment was for am delivery was not refunded. Rep from delivery firm did keep me updated throughout the day and did what they could. I got someone to put couch together for me who had done it before took about 2 hours. Am really please with it not the comfiest have ever sat on but good quality and looks lovely

As regards the comfort the seats on our sofas will initially feel firm as we have chosen the grade of foam that we use so that the sofas have longevity, after a few weeks of normal use the foam will soften.

The sofa managed to make it to us at the time alloted on one of the worst snow days of the year and as we live high in the pennines it must have been a miracle! The quality of the sofa is supurb and after some difficulty we managed to get it together ( Helped team building skills!!) Board should have been put into the cushions as this took alot of team work, in all it took us a few hours to build but we were very proud of ourselves. The material is very good quality and looks really good. Finally it was very good value for money !! Thankyou

Amazingly good service and fantastic sofa and sofabed - highly recommended.
I couldn't believe that the compact 'package' on the roadside, covered in clingfilm, was actually a sofa and a sofabed. Once we got it all inside it started to make more sense. The assembly instructions were clear, and putting both items together was really really simple and straightforward. Getting the boards into the covers was hard work but we found a good technique (inch down one side at a time with a firm tug) and once they were on we could see it was well worth them being tight. Both pieces are incredibly comfortable, so much so that I am often reluctant to go to bed (which is less comfortable). Absolutely delighted.

Great little sofa

We ordered two settees and a footstall. The swatches arrived promptly, the furniture arrived on time, the instructions made sense, nothing was missing, 3 hours later the furniture looks good and is comfortable. And we have the satisfaction of knowing we put it together! The only thing I hadn't expected was that the scotchguarding was 'do-it-yourself'' also. We had no problem putting it together although I don't think I could have managed without the brute strength of my husband to push the seat bases into the cushions. I suppose the test will be in a year's time. The settees seem very sturdy so it is only the cushions I can imagine might go soft over time (like all settees) but hopefully they would be easy to replace via Nabru. For now at least we are very satisfied customers.

An excellent product that works extremely well if you have minimal access to the desired location for your settee(s).
I was apprehensive at first about purchasing a "flat pack" settee, but on visiting the shop before deciding to purchase, my concerns were more than satisfied. I have found the whole service, from getting samples, selecting the product I wanted via the web site through to delivery to be very good, and can not fault any part of Nabru's sales process.
I elected to assemble the settee myself, and found no problems in doing this as the instructions provided were very well laid out and simple to follow. I did have to back track a couple of times, as I had put a couple of pieces the wrong way round, but that was more due to my tendency to get ahead of the instructions, so can't blame anyone else for that.
The finished product looks really good, in fact I would go as far to say as exceeds my expectations.
The fact that you can also order parts individually ( should anything need updating or replacing in the future), is an added bonus to the sales process.
I can offer nothing but congratulations to the company on their service and their products, and wish the company every success in the trading.

Excellent product, value and service
For £300-£350 you get a full-size sofa with a fabric that has a quality look and feel to it (I chose the Max fabric). I do recommend ordering the swatches first to see what the fabrics are like. I am not DIY confident but I managed to put the sofa together in 2 hours (I timed it). It requires no tools, everything just slots together. You might want to set aside 15-20 minutes beforehand to dust or hoover the wood parts as they may come with some wood dust on them.
Yes the hardest part is putting the covers on the seat backs and especially the seats, but if you are patient and push one side down at a time you will get there (yes the boards do need to be pushed into that last little bit too :) Gloves might be an idea here as you find yourself repeatedly scraping your knuckles against the fabric.
I had cause to tests Nabru's service when I realised that the Sker I had bought was a bit too big for my living room and I should probably have gone for the Ato. I found that when you call, Nabru usually say no-one is available and that they will call you back. This was a bit unsettling but I found that they always *did* call me back which impressed me. With regard to my specific problem, they offered to let me exchange the sofa, including collection of the old one, without any significant extra charge. So five stars for service too.
I didn't have the chance to go to the Uxbridge showroom before ordering but I would recommend it - for example, in my case it might have made me realise how big the Sker was before I ordered it.

Great product, great value for money, great service!
We did loads of research to find the perfect sofas for our weird shaped lounge, and came across Nabru's website. All our problems were solved! Not only could we design our own sofa to fit, but there were so many other choices ....... style and size of arms, fabric choice, piping, feet colour, cushion hardness, scatter cushions, storage trays and matching footstools. All of this choice for far less than you'd pay at any other major sofa retailer. We did visit the Nabru showroom just to reassure ourselves that their sofas would be suitable for my wife, who is disabled.
Our corner sofa in Carlton Teal arrived within 2 weeks of ordering on free delivery. From the moment the pallet of component parts arrived to being able to sit on our new sofa, took me, on my own, 2.5 hours and it was relatively easy to put together. Everything just slots together and you don't need any tools. My only small criticism would be that the seat cushions could be labelled to make assembly a little easier for the non-DIYer. But I'm just being extra pernickety.
We are extremely happy with our new Nabru sofa and will be ordering our next one in the next few weeks. The corner sofa looks fantastic and is extremely comfortable (we opted for the hard seats).
We are so impressed with the Nabru product, value for money and service, that we will not go anywhere else now for a sofa, sofa bed, chaise etc. We need another sofa for the lounge and a sofa bed for one of our kids' rooms.

OK for what we wanted (a spare room sofa)
From a usability perspective our full width sofa bed is great and it came at an unmatchable price. Once assembled, it is a full double bed size when pulled out and the sofa itself is wide enough to use as a single bed, so ideal for what we wanted - a put you up in our spare room. It is also a large comfortable sofa in its own right.
However.....
As clearly warned, it arrived on a pallet and really needs two people to safely take it off the pallet and transer it to the room where it is to be constructed. It is essentially a 3D jigsaw puzzle which has to be built piece by piece from good quality MDF (heavy), sponge and fabric; the last items to be fitted are the arms (which are pre-constructed) so it is not possible, as with most sofas, to lift it by the arms to move it. In fact, it is nigh on impossible to move without it disassembling itself; it is very heavy.
So, in summary, great value item for the spare room, but I wouldn't personally recommend it for your lounge.

We offer a delivery to door service (for no additional cost) and a delivery to room service (for an additional £30) the vast majority of our customers select and are happy with the deliver to door service as it is the cheapest and fastest (the delivery to room service takes an extra day or two) way of moving our products from A to B. We always make sure that our customers are well aware of what's involved with the delivery process in advance.

Fantastic
We brought a sofa from Nabru for our caravan, we are so pleased with it as it was made as a u shape so we didn't loose any seating. It's so comfy and cosy I defiantly recommend Nabru.
The only thing we found hard was putting it together but well worth it once done.

A great little sofa for my little cottage
I was very impressed with the quick and free delivery of fabric samples so I could 'design' my sofa. Having paid extra for delivery on a morning that I don't work a bit disappointed when it arrived at ten to one making me late! The three minutes to construct it (shown by two strong blokes on the video) was nearer an hour when I did it by myself. It was easy to see what to do and went together well but it took all my strength and some cursing to slowly work the boards and arms inside the covers. Lovely when done. Well pleased with myself and the sofa.
