The book was expensive for a three-day pass. I'm not sure that I actually saved any money on my three big venues (one a day). I don't think the book is worth the expense unless you attempt to visit three or four venues every day.
We took advantage of the New York Pass last December. Much to do but not enough time! I went later in the evening to pick up the pass and found no line. Be sure to plan out your schedule to maximize the value. Will purchase next time for a return trip because I feel like we only did a sliver of the activities we could do with the Pass.
excellent card, perfect places. thank you very much for unforgettable holidays
When we return to New York we will definitely use the New York pass. It was so convenient and the tour guides were so helpful and informative. Loved NYC thanks to the New York Pass.
I would totally recommend the PASS...there is so much of a variety which to pick from. It is well worth the price. You get your money's worth and more............
We would have used it more had we followed my plan, but traveling with three kids that had their own agenda made my plans go up in smoke. I love the opportunities that we had by using the New York Pass, we did use it a few times and actually got our money's worth. When we did use our passes I was glad we had purchased them before hand, had I seen the price of things before arriving in New York we have just walked around and window shopped, my kids would have been really thrilled with that. But since we had the passes I knew we needed to take the City Tour and go up to The Top Of The Rock. We also did a boat tour that my entire family absolutely LOVED, it was perfect since the Statue of Liberty was closed due to the flood, but we got very close and got some GREAT pictures. My kids will tell you that their favorite was probably Madame T. wax museum.I would have balked each time I had to take my card out to pay for each attraction and times 5, that's a huge expense. I haven't regret getting the New York pass.
No matter how many people you have, whether it is a family of 4 or a group of 30, the New York Pass is worth every penny. It will save you money and pay for itself if you use it wisely.
I purchased two New York passes for a first trip to the city the latter part of last year. I wasn't sure that I waould use the pass enough to justify the cost, however we were amazed at exactly how many places the pass could be used. The "Cut the Line" feature also was quite nice.
I will most certainly purchase again, on any future trips.
Es la mejor manera de conocer la ciudad más espectacular del mundo en pocos días, cuando vuelva a ir comprare new York pass sin duda alguna
The New York Pass of course it's awesome, you can visit many attractions and don't loose your time waiting for pay a ticket or something like that. The best part of the NYPass it's the cost ;)
We were on the go from 5am to 2am, sometimes stopping for dinner at midnight. We took buses, subway cars, taxi's and walked a mission miles. We bought the 3 day pass and still didn't fit in all we wanted to. We all agree that we will return to finish off the wonderful City. We laughed, laughed until we cried and laughed more until we peed. We thank New York City for being so diverse and opening our eyes to all the cultural options we don't have in Michigan.
Until next time, stay safe.
On our trip to New York we bought the New York pass as we were planning our trip. It gave us ideas of what to see and when it was available. After buying the pass we got the app. for our phone and enjoyed planning our itinerary while still at home in Oregon. We flew to New York picked up the passes and we were on our way. We checked off many of the attractions while there and had a great time.
Three of us spent a week in NYC in December and each used the New York Pass to save money on admissions, etc. The Guide was a great resource for where to go as well. We would definitely recommend the Pass to anyone visiting New York as a tourist.
I recommend to any one visiting New York. Great investment!
Provides entry into many New York attractions as well as providing great discounts at a lot of food venues.
non sono rimasta particolarmente soddisfatta in quanto certe attrazioni non erano presenti o momentaneamente sospese.
ad esempio la mostra THE BODIES non c'era;
i lservizio di noleggio RENT a BIKE a CentralPark era sospeso per il periodo invernale;la visita alla statua della libertà sospesa e anchel'esperienza a bordo della CLIPPER era sospesa;
per andare a vedere 911TRIBUTE CENTER non c'era bisogno del NYP,era gratuito e necessitava solo la registrazione sul posto.
Each tourist attraction in New York charges entry and access to exhibit fees. When you add all these fees together the cost to visit these sites is almost beyond the budget of anyone except the extremely wealthy, unless you get The New York Pass!!. The New York Pass really "made" my trip to New York. I got to see everything!!! I did not have to pick and choose because of the expense of admisson. My New York Pass covered it all for one fee. Thank You New York pass for making my trip to New York that much more enjoyable
Easy process to obtain the tickets, easy process to use your tickets and then start the ride of your New York life!.. Staff are located at various corners and are truly great ambassadors of New York Pass and the Big Apple. Everyone we encountered were truly great representatives! The New York Pass allows you to see virtually everything that needs to be seen in this great City. The pass was easy to use, as were with any pamphlets that were provided. We had a wonderful time seeing all of this and more. The ride along guides are very knowledgeable and have great personalities. With them doing the narration, we truly had a fun time as well as learning many new things about the city and its residents. Thanks again for a memorable experience!!!!
Having the New York pass made our trip much more enjoyable and affordable. Thank you for offering such a great product/service!
The pass was a great value. Got to see a lot of things for little money!
Worth the money, only issues we had was the hop off, hop on passes. We didn't know which bus was ours. No one told us the blue bus
It was great having to choice of what to see. Very easy to plan ahead and see sights close to each other. Not having to stand in line for tickets was very convenient as well. The best thing was the price .. Highly recommend anyone to get the New York Pass.
We were in New York only for 3 days, and saw many sites by having the NYP.
Museum of Natural History, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Statue of Liberty, Madame Tussauds, New York water Taxi, Empire State Building,
We ordered on line and the passes were mailed to us before we arrived in New York.
I was raised in Manhattan and I took my boyfriend back for a little trip and the New York Passes were awesome. The best thing is the Top Of The Rock and all the cruises you get with this deal. We went all around manhattan and it was a blast. When you live in New York you never do these things, but I have to say it's a wonderful way to see the city. We also went to all the museums and the MET was our favorite ... and the Museum of Natural History on the upper west side.
My wife and I brought my son and a friend of his to New York for his 18th birthday. We arrived on Friday evening and flew out Sunday afternoon, so our time was limited. The New York Pass allowed us to tour and see multiple sites in a relatively short period of time. I would recommend it t anyone.
The New York pass gives access to many sites and museums. We used it to visit the Empire state Building, The Museum of Natural History, The Guggenheim, The Metropolitan Museum of Art and to take a cruise on the Hudson to see the Statue of Liberty and the wonderful NYC skyline. The Pass was a little pricey, but was overall a bargain if I added up all the entrance fees to the sites we saw.
The office where you get the pass needs to be streamlined for people who have bought the pass online. We had to wait half an hour while others bought passes and got their questions answered. A line for people who have already bought passes and are just picking it up is needed.
This was my first time visiting NYC. I was meeting my brother there who was traveling for business so I didn't have to pay for a hotel room, but I was on my own most of the time. I didn't know where to start as there were so many choices. A friend who used to be a travel agent sent me several sites that offer city passes such as this. I pick this one as it gave me the most options and all the attractions one would do on their first visit. The pass gets you in quicker to attractions with longer lines and that was a very nice plus. Even though I did everything by myself, I had a total blast and just LOVED NYC. I know my next visit will include another Pass as there is still so much more to see and do.
This pass did not save me money but did save the two friends I traveled with. They got up early every morning and missed a lot of the lines to the places the NY Pass allows you to go, however they did have to visit some places a few times due to visibility or weather the exhibit was closed. This NY Pass is only worth it if you plan on going to most places on the pass but keep in mind travel time to and from each place, lunch, and waiting in lines w/ some time to revisit sites if needed.
I've always loved NY, but having the New York Pass made it the best trip to the Big Apple I've ever had. With careful planning, we managed to see all the sights we wanted to see. Planning is essential to take in as much as you want to see in each day of your pass. Group the sights close to each other and get the most out of the New York Pass, a true bargain. With our two day pass, we were able to go to the World Trade Center, take a harbor cruise, ride up to the top of the Empire State Building, as well as the Top of the Rock, tour NBC and Radio City Music Hall... and a few other sights too!
With the New York Pass you were able to avoid long lines at attractions, so you didn't waste valuable time. We were able to see and do so much more and the value was unbeliveable. We saved alot of money using the pass which allowed for more shopping and dining and shows.
We go into NYC every year for 3-4 days. The city pass allows us to do more than we ever would if we had to pay for each site individually. Hard to believe that we were able to do the skyride, Madame Tussands, The Beast and ride bikes from the pier to the WTC all in one day!
I have never felt more welcomed by a city than I was by NY when I actually got the sense and benefit of the New Your Pass. It is a wonderful, personal invitation to visit just what you want in an easy way. The cost is minimal to the benefit in terms of use, entrance fees, breadth of offerings and generosity of choices.
READ ABOUT USING THE "NEW YORK PASS" ENABLING US TO TAKE MY UNCLE AND GUEST FROM INDIANA TO SEE THE SIGHTS IN NYC. WE SENT HIM THE LIST FROM THE WEBSITE TO PERUSE BEFORE PURCHASING AND HE DECIDED TO PURCHASE OUR BOOKS FOR US AS WELL!!! WE SPENT 3 WHIRLWIND DAYS IN THE CITY GETTING TO LOOK AT SIGHTS WE NEVER EVEN THOUGHT ABOUT. WE HAD A BLAST, LEARNED A LITTLE HISTORY, AND HAD GREAT FAMILY TIME TOGETHER.
MY DAUGHTER AND I ENJOYED OURSELVES SO MUCH, WE'RE PURCHASING AGAIN THIS YEAR TO GET TO SEE PLACES WE WERE UNABLE TO SEE THIS YEAR DUE TO LACK OF TIME.
WORK EVERY PENNY.........
This was not worth the money for us. We got them for 3 days. We did not use them one of the days, but when we tried to use them on the last day, they were rejected. Be sure you know the clock is ticking from the first day.
I just wish my friend and I had at least a couple of more days in the city to take it all in, I fell in love w NYC and having the NY Pass made it very easy to plan our days in advanced.
It's a great system, very easy to get the card and follow the instructions. And it's a great value if you're able to do enough, which I wasn't in 3 days. But I'm sure there are more industrious tourists who get their bang for their buck.
