Outstanding in every way
The desk I ordered in the evening was confirmed by phone first thing next morning and delivered later in the day. The Saxen website was first-class, although the order page was not as good, required company name as mandatory (but then didn't insist when none was entered, which is confusing) and left some lines of the delivery address deleted, which caused the card payment to fail initially. Also there was no order number confirmation, so if anything had gone wrong, that would have been a problem. But it didn't, and all in all it was a perfect purchase, and I'm writing this on the desk.

Quality desk and chair, excellent service!
A pleasing website to shop with, found what we require within minutes. Delivery very prompt and products assembled within an hour. May I just say that the items within the packaging where protected beautifully and arrived in prestige condition.

Amazing customer service and a credit to their industry
I bought an expensive chair 3 years ago from Saxen and through normal wear and tear it needed several repairs. Chris Arkley from Saxen organised everything for me and his communication skills both written and on the phone are 1st class.
Chris and his colleagues make Saxen an excellent company to deal with and we won't hesitate to use them again.

Great service and products
I ordered a Jahnke desk and a couple of bookcases. Both products were quick and easy to assemble and seem very sturdy and of good quality wood. The only suggestion for improvement would be to either include or recommend where to buy press covers for the bookshelves as I don't like the fact that the holes in the side of the shelves are visible.

First Class Service
Found what I wanted on the webiste but wanted to speak to someone in person. They were polite, friendly and very helpful. Ordered the desk on the Wednesday and it was delivered the next day !! Absolutely brilliant service, could not fault them. And the desk is excellent, just what we wanted !

Quick reliable service but lack of communication.
The filing cabinet was delivered very speedily and was exactly as ordered and described. It is a very good quality product just as I had hoped it would be and I am very pleased with it.
My only criticism of the service was the complete absence of any communication from the seller. I ordered the product online out of office hours, but presumed that I would receive an e-mail confirmation of my order and notice of dispatch and expected delivery date. I received no communication whatsoever. However I was able to look at my account on the website and find that the item had been dispatched, but I think it would be more reassuring for customers to receive information by e-mail.
The only improvement to the service provided in my opinion would be a better communication system. I can't fault the product and speed of delivery - brilliant!

This is not normal and it is standard procedure that you should have received a welcome email which generates automatically at the time of ordering. This is then followed up by an order confirmation email from our Sales team to confirm the product(s) you have ordered along with delivery information. Sometimes our emails filter into spam emails - perhaps you may wish to check if this has happened?
The filing cabinet you ordered is delivered on a next day service at no additional charge and thank you for your kind comments regarding this.
I have checked and your ISP is BT, btinternet.com. For some reason, we are unable at times, to communicate with this email address. We have made several attempts to rectify this situation including a lengthy discussion and several emails with BT.
Until this is fixed, we have decided to contact all our btinternet.com customers by telephone to check that they have received our email(s).

Smart and reasonably priced desk

Excellent Quality
I had to contact Saxen regarding delivery date which was exceeded and still did not arrive when they confirmed it would.
I would still recommend Saxen as the customer service was excellent if a little incorrect regarding the delivey advice given.
The drawings that come with the desk are to be honest pretty unclear due to possibly being copied many times but once some time is spent studying the prints the desk itself is very easy to assemble.The quality of finish is to a very high standard and if looked after will give many years of good service.
I would without doubt recommend Saxen and the French Gardens Home Office Mini Desk.

Super fast delivery and good range
It's a bit soon to pass judgment on the chair since I only built it yesterday, but it looks as if it'll do what it says on the tin. The instructions were rather brief - no mention of where to put the screws (although ti was pretty obvious). Hope it doesn't fall apart like all my previous office chairs (not from this company I hasten to add).

I found the perfect desk I wanted on another website for £187 plus £12 shipping.
I hadn't used them before thought so thought I would Google reviews. All the reviews for them were terrible! The site also showed some high scoring sites in the same category though and Saxen was one of them.
I checked out a few to see if they had the same desk and none did. Then on Saxen I was thrilled to find the same desk (just with a different name) for cheaper than the other site, and free shipping.
I ordered it on a Sunday evening and they called me Monday morning to arrange a suitable delivery day. I set it for that Thursday and it all arrived in perfect condition.
Couldn't be happier with the service I received. Will definitely use them again.

A great unit, perfect for a restricted space.
I am extremely pleased with my hideaway unit, thank you. However, It was not as white as I expected.....more cream, I would have said. Construction was not too challenging with clear instructions and I enjoyed putting it together. It is very well made.
Might I suggest that an internal light fitting would be very advantageous.
