I tried calling the customersupport for 2 days, only getting the message that it was closed that day. I tried writing an email (The Web site promised a reply within 24 hours). I still haven't recieved a reply.
ordered my key, wanted to pay via pay-pal, everything was fine, i could not look as fast as my key was available! The only irritating thing is, that the site states, that my credit card isn't verified, as i never wanted to use a credit card! otherwise, perfect shopping experience! Keep up the good work!
Looked through pricerunner to find the cheapest place for Simcity. The cheapest site seemed a bit sketchy. I chose OnePlay because of its good feedback from Trustpilot. Huge mistake.
I bought the game 11-18-2013 at night. I found out I have to verify my creditcard. I wait until the next day and get the creditcard verified. I find the link to the cd-key quite easily. When I try to redeem my cd-key I found out that the cd-key is already in use.
OnePlay sold me an already used cd-key...
I contact the live support the same day. The first support replies with auto-replies. He barely reads what I write and he answers with no sense. After a while I found out the supporter is AFK and I decide to leave the chat.
A few minutes later I try again. Quite luckily I get a support who takes his time and reads what I write and he even helps me through in a quite satisfying manner. I asked to get a new support. But when the supporter presented me with the options of getting a new cd-key or the money back. I chose to get my money back. I got the money refunded immediately.
And what is more disappointing is that I had to write a new e-mail in order to get my verification money back.
At first I was a bit skeptical because of the prices. But everything was really smooth. The only con I have, is the way the game-serial is shown. I didn't understand the instruction, since it said I would come by mail. But instead it is only showing it under My Games on the website. And thats all good, but a bit confusing in the beginning.
I bought a game on OnePlau.com because I saw that the prices was so much lower than any other store would have been, and so I went on an adventure of buying this game that I've wanted for quite a while now and I did it but after I bought it I found it very weird that I had to "Accept" my Credit Card, in this case my Mastercard. As I thougth that mabye my game wouldn't come until I've accepted BUT to my luck, It arrived as a download just an hour after.
3 stars for now but I will 100% use this site from now on.
Best of luck
I recently bought battlefield 4 on Oneplay. And i must say the prices is indeed cheap compared to other game sites.
The hole buying procedure took so much longer than expected because of a necessary credit card confirmation. I thought it was some kind of scam so quickly went back to the main site. I then this time tried another card and got same result.
After doing the small transaction needed to confirm my card(?) I was good to go.
I then got my game code about 15 min later.
Another minus is the game codes is pictures of a piece of paper which can be a pain in the ass to read. This also looks very unprofessional, please fix in the future.
Overall 3 stars for cheap prices vs time used
I was a bit skeptic towards the site because of different plans, approving of credit cards, different languages options and not at least the low prices.
But on the other side, I had to try. I made an account and purchased a game with my credit card. At first I thought that I had to authorize my card through my bank statement to receive the key since I did not get it momentarily under My Account. But while I was browsing through their site, I got an email with the key attached as a picture about 10 minutes later. In other words, the transaction went exceptionally well and I can highly recommend them.
It's good but a bit slow it took an hour to the code came in the mail it took too long that's my opinion
I have decided to update my original review to reflect the end result...
The first time I had heard of OnePlay.com it was through Cheapassgamer.com. A community/site that I have had the pleasure of being a part of for quite some time now. During my daily perusal of the threads I came across a deal for Remember Me @ 9.99 USD. I thought that it was a good deal since the critics were bashing it and it still appealed to me, so a fair deal for $9.99. I clicked on the thread and immediately people were asking who these people were, this company, OnePlay. We hadn't heard of it being in the States, so it was new to us. Some fellow forum members posted links to previous threads where other forum goers had said to be weary of OnePlay based off of their experiences. Yet, I decided to take the plunge off of the people that had already redeemed their codes, although they had stated there were some hoops to jump through. Boy, was I in for a surprise.
Knowing full and well, or I thought I had, what I was getting myself into, I proceeded on over to the site. Went through all the hoops, as were mentioned by the other forum members; and there it was. In my inbox was the email saying click here for your code. So, I clicked and there it was... nice and neatly displayed on a webpage the code to my $9.99 game. I copied it into the clipboard. Launched Steam. Went to my menu and launched activate Steam product. Pasted the code in and... Invalid Code. Is the message that was spit back at me. Knowing full and well that the error was on their end. I continued, determinately, to get the code to work. I swapped look-a-like numbers and letters. I tried case-sensitive, but alas to no avail was I able to get it to work.
So, I proceeded to head back to the site, where I had remembered seeing an option to report an issue. So... I reported it. I received an automated response from OnePlay that they had received my issue and would be in touch... in so many words. I was then contacted by, "[Name]", which I'm assuming is a pseudonym of course. He proceeded to request screenshots, as if my explanation of "It's saying the code is invalid when I copy and paste it into steam" wasn't enough. So, of course, I obliged the request with three screenshots of each step sent 12 hours later.
I waited. No response. So, I waited into the next day and then about 8:08 am EST I received an email from OnePlay regarding a survey regarding support. Considering the situation, it probably wasn't the best time to ask for a survey, but at this point, I was frustrated that my money had been spent and I still had no product. They either were running a scheme or someone simply doesn't know how to copy and paste codes from one screen to the other. Not rocket science here. So then, I left my review... blatantly calling out OnePlay on their issues hoping that it would garner their attention. It did. They responded.
Calling out to me and saying that I needed to remove my review because it was nothing but lies and that they were still waiting on information from me. Hmm. Sounds quite personal if you ask me. So, I responded of course with the final word being that, yes I did reply to you with three screenshots and no one has responded and that's why I left this review. No rebuttal this time. No response. Nothing. Interesting I thought. For sure, that I would hear something today, but nothing.
I again, had to take the next step. I checked the link again for a status on my request, fully expecting the case to be closed, but that is not what I found. I actually found that it was simply untouched. I raised hell about this issue, and they responded, then I responded and now nothing? Odd. So, once again I clicked on the support thread, fully noting that "[Name]" had indeed received my three screenshots as it was noted there, and added a comment. "Still Waiting..." Not even an hour later I received a response email saying to try a different code that was off one letter.
You mean to tell me we went through all of this, both parties; because you couldn't verify the code when you assigned it to me. Because you couldn't verify the code after I submitted the first support request. Because you couldn't verify the code before asking for screenshots from me because I'm a tool and I don't know how to copy and paste... please.
I had originally changed my rating from a 1 to a 3, but now, having written all of that and what I've unnecessarily have had to go through; I have changed the score once again back to a 1.
Final thoughts to those of you out there...
They do sell legit codes. I just wouldn't recommend them because they are dimwitted.
Final thoughts to OnePlay...
Just because someone has a really bad experience due to your company's incompetency, don't be rude to them, fix it. Start by first using some common sense and ask yourselves...
"Hey guys, did we verify if the code is correct?"
Was at the beginning a bit skeptic about this company and how they could sell games so cheap. I ordered a game and it took about 15 minutes, then i had my game key in my mail box. All in all i would recommend "Oneplay" to my friends.
Not much to say really, straight farwards, bought a game, had the key very soon afterwards, and some nice people willing to give a helping hand if needed.
Hej.
