please stay clear of this company as they will take your money leaving you with a bitter taste in your mouth, they quote me a price with standard compensation but they damaged my item which is TV and they deny that cos it glass they will not pay any compensation not even standard that was included in the price i paid them if they can't cover all the TV's price i accept but the standard compensation needs to be honoured, and the customer service was an apology plus somebody called Howard emailed me claiming to be a manager and the tone of the emailed says a lot about the company .. On 11/03/2012 for the sale of parcel service of PARCEL FORCE to pick up 3 parcels and delivery to FRANCE. I have sent a payment of 57.58 GBP to Parcel2Ship (firstname.lastname@example.org) .payment by PAYPAL. I fill the from in their web site with the address for pick up ,address delivery, weight ,measurement of the parcel….. After receive money . The company send email FOR THE INVOICE and saying i have own money from them ?which I never know or aware of. Parcel2Ship refuse to do the work Parcel2Ship refuse to refund the money. I ask PayPal depute . PAYPAL SAID as the sale is the SERVICE they are unable to trace the seller? I have lost money .Any one know how to claim this ?
Read the review by Marco. This is exactly my experience too. Parcel not collected - offered a refund - it never came. When I tried to email the email was refused. When I tried to post a review on their webpage (which claims they post all reviews) it was blocked. In my opinion they are a bunch of crooks. AVOID!
I wish I had read the reviews before I lost my money to parcel2ship. The driver made no attemt to collect my parcel. They accepted my instruction to ring before collection. The driver made no effort to follow instructions to get in to the reception area of the premises. When I rang parcel2ship they told me they dont allow drivers to have mobile phones. (Is this really the 21st century)When I complained they told Paypal they had made the collection according to their terms. What part of making the collection is leaving the parcel behind. Do not use this company
This company sucks! I booked parcel delivery and paid in advance (even more than the rate of other competitors) and my parcel has never been collected. Called and sent emails to the customer centre, and they said that a driver would come one day later the original agreement. So i had to take one more day off, and spent the whole day at home. Nobody came! This company should seriously be investigated and shut down! How do i get my money back and who pay for my time (wasted by this crap company?) Is there any authority or control on these crap companies?
Definitely a 'stack 'em high, sell 'em cheap' philosophy is the driving force behind this company. Prior to booking, I asked if insurance could be added. I was told this was not an option, but there wouldn't be a problem - there was.
The larger sized package was irreparably damaged and the reciprients subsequent photos suggested that it had been placed under a considerable weight. I can confirm that it was suitably packed - bubble wrap and double boxed.
Parcel2ship refused to return the now worthless item and after a string of requests, they only yesterday (3rd August) declined any compensation - the package was sent early May!!
Unless you can afford the loss or damage to whatever you're sending, avoid at all costs.
Parcel was returned next day due to a problem with customs paperwork, they will not refund or rebook the delivery, so I have spent 60 quid on nothing. If you decide to use them then be very carefull to get all paperwork perfect, dimensions and weight exact, and make sure you're in when they try to collect, as they will not give you a 2nd chance. Sad thing is if I'd gone straight to DHL, (who parcel2go are actualy using to deliver the item) , then they would have rebooked the delivery for nothing.
absolutely shocking customer service, arranged parcel pickup for a friday between 9am. and 5.30pm. waited all day for collection and did not collect! contact phone number supplied closes at 5pm. and reporting a problem is through an online form which it seems nobody bothers to read. phoned monday morning and goes through an automated process to reach a customer service advisor only for the phone to go dead on several attempts. also awaitng a reply from the 2 emails sent. i will never use parcel2ship again, and urge others seeking a good courier to look elsewhere. also it seems asking for a refund for services not provided in your emails falls on deaf ears.
