I took out and loan and everything was fine I give them that, but I could not afford to keep up my repayments and now I have tried to contact them to settle my account the supervisor for the collections company is the rudest woman I've ever encountered!! Refused to help me set up a repayment plan, hung up on me, given me about 10 different collections agency's numbers that they have tried to sell my debt onto only for none of them to be in possession of the debt. When I told her I had contacted my ombudsman she flat out refused to give me anymore information.... Why so worried??? THEN I get an email to say my account is now in default and contact the named collections agency who again know nothing about the debt!!!!! Ridiculous!!!!! Never had so many problems trying to give a company money. Not helpful and the interest is a joke. Use oakams.... Friendly company and happy to help and they have a reward scheme to making payments on time. No I don't work for them but anything to stop these people making anyone else's life a misery! Avoid!!!!!!
I stupidly got a loan from peachy but then we hit financial difficulty (for reasons I won't state here) & I contacted them immediately & informed them that I would be unable to pay however I had seeked advice & could offer a repayment scheme.
Then after the due date they took payment for the full amount plus an extra £25 for "costs". When I contacted them to explain that they had basically stolen my money that I required for food shopping they refused to return any money despite it meaning that I had no proper food/nappies for my children. Instead they believed that their payment should come first. They say that they truly care about their clients financial welfare but it's just rubbish spouted to get your custom!.
Recently took a loan out paid it early before its due date. Lent the money off my brother just to be told I can't have another loan my credit rating had gone down. Well let me tell you peachy I'm not giving up without a fight
Absolute disgrace of a company. They should be reported.
I was suggested this site by my friend as he said they were quick and I could loan money fast, so I thought I would apply as I was in a difficult situation financially.
I applied for £300, only to be told I was accepted for £110, which would have helped me slightly so I proceeded ahead with the application.
After 2 hours, I heard nothing from them and there was no money in my account. My emails were also ignored.
Peachy is no different to most other lenders, they have high interest rates, lack customer support and a waste of time.
As I work for the BBC, I am aware of an upcoming Panorama investigation about the effectiveness and services of Pay Day loan companies and I will be using this as an example.
Avoid this company, and other pay day loan companies if possible. Only use them if you don't have much choice. Try and get a crisis loan by calling the Job Centre, you won't pay interest and is much more flexible than using these legalised loan shark companies such as Peachy Loans.
One of the best loans companies I have used thus far. Their APR is only 1058% which is really good compared to Wonga's 5853%. It may still look much but it's actually not because you're only taking it for one or two months. I've saved lots of money for using their services instead of other's. Definitely Recommended.
I had a loan with peachy, thought they were great at first but having paid back my loan in full and on time I needed to apply for another loan but was declined. makes no sense, they are certainly not helpful at all, would defo use other loan companies!!
I was quite happy with peachy until i applied through text message for an extension, id never extended before but with the death in my family i felt it was the sensible thing to do as funeral costs were high and i just needed the months breathing space. alas no, i got a text reply saying "failed to extend loan, your current loan does not meet the requirements for extension". How is this considered responsible lending. Im reporting this.
Crappy Service, Firstly the money did not go into my account until the following day, and I had to speak with someone on the phone before it could be processed.
Secondly, do not think that if you make a partial payment it will help. I had a loan of £110 and the full amount due 4 weeks later was £139.70.
I asked how much the loan would be to pay in full early and was told £116.80, i then decided to pay back about half (£60) to help reduce interest, however a few days later when i wanted to go ahead and pay the rest in full I was told I must pay another £79.70 (79.70+60= £139.70), and that because I had paid a partial payment I now had to pay the full amount of £139.70 even though was willing to pay the loan in full a good 2 weeks early!!!
Do not use them, I recommend Zebit personally, theyre very professional, plus the customer service number is free (unlike peachy 10p/min), You also save on interest if you pay back a partial amount.
They say they can give you a loan in 15 mins to an hour! But I have been waiting 4 HOURS!!! And still nothing.
I have had loans off other companies no problems but this one is a joke and needs sorting and guess what they office you ring to is CLOSED what good is that??!!
Very annoyed :@
Peachy are so reliable this is my first payday loan with them and it was in my bank within the hour, hopefully they will be as helpful if I need further help till payday, I would highly recommend them x
I used Peachy a while back and they were fine then decided they didn't want my custom after paying back on time and in full. I didn't twig at the time that they had sold my details on and that was the reason I was getting so many harassing calls, texts and emails from stupid loan companies. I had to change my number etc and then decided to apply again after a six month break. Peachy neither confirmed or denied my loan, I had no email response and within seconds I had loan companies calling my mobile. I've been getting harassed daily and it is driving me nuts. DO NOT USE, THEY SELL YOUR DATA ON.
Peachy will have your money in your account within the hour usually within 10 minutes. It's easy once you completed the initial application. You don't need to keep completing applications for future peachy loans as your details are stored. Just click the amount you want and the date you can repay and there you go!
this is a good company to use if u r stuck for money till your next pay day they always make u feel welcome and help u out if u need help also they get the money to your bank as quickly as they can unlike some other comapanies wud deffo recomend
i found thier service incredibly fast when i needed the money it took alot of pressure off me then to wake up one morning to a text to say I HAD WON THIER BDAY PRIZE I wouldnt have to pay my loan back they had done it for me it made my month so much easier!
An easy service to use, £15 is not alot to pay to get money quick to help in a tricky situation however best not to use pay day loans to often as pay day comes around very quickly, in peachy's case 10 days come's around very quickly.
You ran a good service for short term borrowing for 10 days with only £15 per £100 borrowing via text message. You changed it to longer borrowing with a contract which is more expensive. My card and address details changed and I informed you but you failed to collect the payment on time with my new details and charged me more saying I didn't ask you to take payment then - why should I - I informed you of new details so surely you should update your records and take payment on the due date. You charged me an additional £25. When I contacted you, you agreed to take this off my next payment which you did one day earlier. I tried to reloan and got a message saying No Credit Available. I emailed you and you said my credit rating all of a sudden went down - this was not the first time I used you but I feel you have treated me badly as I have always paid on time and you were the one's who were in error - how can a person's credit rating go down over night? I feel you have cheated me and will not use you again or recommend others - I am going to post a blog about your services to warn other people.
I have used Peachy many times and never had a proble before they changed the way they worked andwhat they offer. After the change ( and while I may be mistaken I genuinly feel that ) they sent me a loan over a shorter time than I belived I had selected, they had a limit on extensions that I was not aware of and worst of all they took an additional charge from my bank which they were not intitled to. ( Gave up trying to get it back after I had sent numerous emails and they HAD to have a bank statement in a format that my bank did not support, despite having all the proof needed to prove my case they would not accept it because it was not a pdf. )
Excellent service already reapplied, excellent interest rates and a real help for a shortfall in pay, definately recommending to friends as funds were transfered quicker than other lenders with no paperwork or fuss.
I took a loan from Peachy which was on my account faster than I expected. The text message and mobile web interfaces are convenient to use.
I was late with the repayment, but the customer service was friendly and flexible to find a solution of repaying the loan.
If ever needed, I would use them again.
Fund were transferred immediately when i applied for the loan. However i ran into financial difficulty and they were understanding and helped me out straight away with no fuss. Would recommend this company over the rest if your only looking for a small small.
I've now taken 5 loans from Peachy and each time the funds have been transferred and available immediately, exactly what the service is for.
With the last loan I hit a snag and couldn't make repayment for a short period - I contacted Peachy customer services through email and everything was sorted with only reasonable interest to pay.
If there's a problem talk to them early, as you should with any other lender, but I've found these guys to be ultra reasonable. Superb customer service.
I have taken 2 loans from this company.
I lost my job and I could not pay back the loan on time. The customer service was very helpful and offered me extension so I could pay back the loan when I can.
Would definitely recommend this company.
