almost(!) always five stars service
As regular buyer I rate them high when I have to buy anything to my Baotian scooter. They sell parts cheap and post the items very swiftly. Though among the positive experiences there is one bad one as well.
I bought one item through Ebay instead of using their very own webshop on petrolscooter.com. Unfortunately I've received a different version of the ordered item to the ordered and wanted one. Further more I've noticed the difference only 6-8 weeks after receiving, only when I wanted to use it.
I've sent an email through Ebay asking to change the item on courtesy as they had no legal requirement after so long time. I haven't got any answer.
However, it doesn't bother me so much that I would stop using them. I just bought an exhaust and some other small things a couple weeks ago. And I will use them in the future too .

Prompt delivery - works well as a charger for 24 volt lead acid batteries - but reservations - see full review.
24 volt battery charger uses an unfiltered switched mode power supply which radiates RFI ( radio frequency interference ) over the FM broadcast band when used on the same branch of 'ring main' . The unit supplied does not bear an EU 'CC' approval mark. It is possible that Ofcom might become interested if there are complaints of interference to radio reception and services. No circuit data or instructions were supplied with the unit.

I ordered three 90cc barells from these clowns, I received three barells, two were marked 72cc and one was marked 49cc.
They were all three 62mm x 49mm making them 70cc, and not 69mm x49mm which would have made them 90cc.
I spoke to <private data removed>, who told me the cc depended on the piston fitted, not the size of the barell. :/
The exchanges are too numerous to list here, Among them was me pointing out a listing for a 90cc 2 stroke barell that was a 90cc 4 stroke barell. <private data removed> was adamant it was two stroke so I offered a £1000 bet! Then pointed out the cam chain tunnel and absence of ports on the barell.
Explaining my son ran a forum for Honda 90's with over 4000 members and we had some knowledge of these bikes, and that I was astounded by his lack of knowledge, he said condescendingly;
"Well running a forum is obviously what you do. What we do is run a business with a 2 million pound turnover. You do what you do, we do what we do. We're just here to make money"
Summed up in one phrase I reckon.

I first bought a motor from the ebay shop and unfortunately it stopped working. However, after phoning up and talking to a very helpful technician, I posted the motor back and they are now sending me a replacement and were very apologetic for the faulty original motor. The chap on the end of the phone was very helpful and polite. I also went ahead and bought another from the website (I needed to anyway) - this arrived the day after I ordered it and it works perfectly. Furthermore, it was as cheap as any others I could find on the internet, with much quicker delivery times. Many thanks!

absolutely brilliant...i have bought quite a lot of parts from petrolscooters and never had a problem....EVEN stripped a part off an engine so i did,nt have to buy the whole new part,hence saving me money!!!!! cant fault you pscoots

Phoned this company and straight away they helped me to find the right part which i then ordered on line. It arrived on time and my son can not wait until he can ride his mini dirt bike again. Will certainly be going back to them when i need more parts as they were also the most competitively priced. In fact I will be taking a picture of the next part I need later to email to them so that I get the right part. Really helpful and courteous.

I purchased a front wheel and also a brake disc, there team saw that the wheel and disc didn't match so they contacted me with the right disc also they fitted both they are absolutely brilliant best Pitbike site I've ever been on I will defiantly be spending all my money on this site :) p&p nice n cheap and rapid delivery 10/10 many thanks

These guys are brilliant, they are quite local to me so if I need something in a hurry I can just pop into there shop and get whatever I need, otherwise If I'm not in any hurry I get it delivered and its just as good. The delivery company they work with are also spot on.

ik zocht een kap en onderdelen voor mijn baotian bt49qt-7 alles paste ze hadden alleen niet de kleur van kap maar even spuiten .levering in nederland in 2 dagen alleen verzendkosten waren hoog dus voor een klein onderdeel niet rendabel maar de prijzen van onderdelen zijn goed .

Delivery is the fastest I have experienced
I had been trying to sort a 6 month old Chinese scooter (Baotian 50 cc) for a friend that was cutting out every other day. (working on it for about a week on and off). As parts are very cheap, decided to replace complete carb, (keep other as spare).
Made little difference so replaced CDI, Sorted . The parts came within less than 18 hrs, extremely fast (ie ordered one afternoon- came next morning, we are in Devon also). Product well packaged. Will use again when required as others parts need replacing. As an aside, water into ignition switch, + valves way off didn't help. Replaced NGK plug to an Iridium also. Running sweeter at last.

perfect parts in prefect time
i have ordered parts from petrol scooter uk a couple of times and i have found them to be very reasonablely priced company in fact the cheapest out there i don,t know how they do it but i am glad that they do , if you need your part asap them these are the gays for you . on the occasions that i have ordered parts they have been with me within 48 hours and i am in northern ireland .

Usually good, but not this time
I ordered some engine parts a week ago, thinking I had plenty of time for them to arrive and for me to get my engine rebuilt in time for a track evening tonight.
Unfortunately the bits haven't arrived yet, which means no track night for me!!
Very disappointed and kinda shocked, cos Petrolscooter are usually pretty quick on delivery. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt in this case though, and suggest that their excuse might be the postal service is probably snowed under with boxes from Amazon. So I gave them a 3 star rating, in spite of the delivery estimate being 1-3 days, and the reality being 7 days and counting.
Price was good and the quality of goods is usually fine from Petrolscooter
