This was my first order from PRINTED.COM and I had zero past experience of creating documents for proper printing (bleeds, safe areas, crop marks - sheesh!) so I was a bit daunted at the start.
Customer services were brilliant - they helped me out with several queries I had along the way and I created the artwork easily using the free templates provided on the website - which are a real bonus if you're not used to creating artwork to meet specific requirements.
In the end everything went perfectly, the posters look incredible, the quality is superb and they were delivered very quickly. I'm already working on the artwork for the next order. Superb!
As a first time customer, for Z-fold brochures, I clicked onto the advice page for paper weight, and placed my order. I unknowingly created it in a Letter sized template, instead of A4, and the company altered it for me. The colour finish was outstanding and I was ecstatic to receive them, it means a lot when you run your own business to get quality products with excellent service and price, and printed.com certainly delivered. I would not hesitate for a second in using them again, they have certainly gained my trust.
This is the sort of company I like to keep! No nonsense No messing, just good quality service and good turn rounds with good prices. What more can you ask for? And you get the lovely C.... smiling at you down the phone. I'd give them 5 stars but that wouldn't leave any room for improvement and I'm sure they'll come up with something one day.

I ordered an abnormally sized print of a panorama with a pixelation effect added. Not only was I supremely impressed that such a print service was available, but they also got in touch to confirm whether the effect was intentional, and not a file corruption! A lot of trust earned after only one order - I'd certainly recommend to anyone, and will be placing many more orders in the future!
Print was damaged in the delivery van - there was crush and water damage - I called Printed customer services and they resolved the situation very quickly and got new copies to me within 48 hours. Seeing as the issues wasn't their problem - it was entirely the fault of the courier I thought that was pretty good. I've been meaning to post this for mounths but only just around to it.

I needed some printed A1 foamex boards recently and my usual printer wanted to charge around £40 per item which I thought was a bit pricey. I shopped around and came across Printed.com's website and thought I would give them a try. They price for the same item was nearly 1/3 of my usual printed.
Lured by a brilliant price, I placed my order. That was Monday 8 July 2013. I thought that these would take some time to produce (my usual printed quoted 7-10 days). Surprisingly, I received an email from Printed.com on Tuesday 9 July 2013 to say that the items had been dispatched.
Wednesday 10 July 2013, items arrived first thing and they were totally what I wanted. I could not believe that the whole time from order to delivery was less than 48 hours !
Will now be ditching my usual guy and using Printed.com for EVERYTHING I need from now !

Cocked up my order and then was told i had to wait 2 days for delivery even though its a small print and only 2pm. Nothing offered in return as a gesture of goodwill for the messed up boards except a silly apology.. terrible customer service..not good enough. You have caused me to delay my shop launch by 2 days which is loss of 2 days revenue estimated at £3000 and more importantly embarrasment for having to postpone my launch. TALK ABOUT INCOMPETENT ITS 9 BOARDS WITH 9 DESIGNS - its not rocket science - wheres the quality check? AVOID AT ALL COST
I've had two orders produced by printed.com with increased quantities as people noted the quality. Biggest one coming up and, if standard is maintained, many more to come through the summer. I designed a double sided party invite which included edge to edge printing. Sent the job in on Wednesday afternoon and it was despatched on Thursday 24 hours later! We are a small start up company in the process of launching new products.
We decided to have labels, leaflets and postcards made up by printed.com. We have used them in the past and haven't found them amazing, just passable.
After 3 days I receive an email asking to fix artwork. This was fixed and returned, After another 2 days I was asked to fix it again - Again this was fixed and returned. Guess what ?? Yes another 2 days go past and I get an email asking me to fix it again. Finally when I asked what was wrong with it I a actually received a different bit of artwork. Turns out I had been asked to change the wrong artwork again and again. I had asked them to post out he rest of the order as we had our first trade show - Didnt happen! I finally spoke to the manager "Peter" and he assured me personally my order would be here Friday as we had our company launch on Saturday at a trade show - DIDN'T HAPPEN!!!! I'm sitting here Monday evening and our order still hasn't arrived , nearly 3 WEEKS LATER !!
I have an email trail with over 15 sent emails, some asked to forward to management - ALL IGNORED !!
THANKS TO PRINTED.COM WE HAVE LOST AN ESTIMATED £2500 IN REVENUE!!

Generally good quality print, finishing and despatch. Online ordering system is a breeze to use, and the updates on despatch are helpful. Never had a late delivery so far. However over the time we've been using them (for quite a few jobs) we've seen the print quality reduce slightly so it's not a 'wow' every time. Mostly to do with colour balance, but also in one instance the creasing and folding on a 4pp A5 was dreadful and should never have got out the door.
Their system does fall down though when a job is less than perfect. A phone call to the team will get response of either 'please send photos' or 'we'll get someone to look into it'. In every case we've had to chase to follow up and - unlike the ordering process - there is NO system to update you with progress on any reprint or its delivery. Had to phone up again today about some vinyl banners on which the printing was very good but the eyeletting was appalling and again should never have been sent out. Any kind of quality control would certainly have picked this up so you start to wonder if they're sending stuff out on the off chance people won't bother to bounce it. I'd have thought that getting a reprint done quickly and keeping the upset customer informed was essential?
We might not be the usual Printed customer in that we're design consultants with decades of experience in buying all types of print and display so maybe we're more critical, but there does seem to have been some slippage in quality, and problem resolution needs a robust and effective process to match the ordering system. Customers should NOT need to chase the supplier like this.
Finally a nag about bill payment which is a frustration I understand is also shared by the accounts department. Not being able to pay multiple invoices in a single transaction is a time-wasting nonsense. Please get this changed! Thanks

I have used Printed.com a few times and they never let you down. I have recently had some greetings cards printed with my designs on. I had a few questions so I phoned them and was not left waiting in a queue. I ordered paper samples with them which give me a guide to the best print for my needs. The team are always happy to help and very friendly on the phone. I ordered my greeting cards by lunchtime Monday and they were with me by Thursday - such a great turnaround. Printed.com are always happy to help, their prices are reasonable and if their is a problem they get it sorted quickly. I created my own wedding invitation and stickers and wanted to get them printed. I was so confused searching on websites reading about the specifications that I needed to meet to print these. There were all these terms like 'bleed' and different colour modes etc. Even though there were good items definition on Printed.com, I still wasn't sure and I was hesitant to just submit my order and get 100's of copies of the wrong invitations. So after searching the web for many hours, I decided to contact Printed.com. I called the customer service and I was put through very quickly and David Parker, who answered the phone said that he would like to help and gave me his email address so he could check the file and convert it to CMYK files. I sent an email to him with the files that I created and he replied to be within a few minutes with attachment. I then asked him about 'the bleed' and he then amended my files yet again. I did contact him a few more times to get this right and he replied to me within a few hours at the longest each time.
I finally sent the files in that I had been working on for days and had my fingers crossed and checked the website everyday to track the item. The items soon got printed and were sent to me within a couple of days and I was so pleased with the results. The paper quality was outstanding and the work was exactly what I had pictured, if not better than what I had expected. The packaging was so amazing and I just could not believe I had created my own wedding invitations exactly the way I liked it. I could not have done it without Printed.com's outstanding customer service.
I would use this service again and again and would recommend it to anyone. Some other printing website charge to have the work checked and I got it checked by Printed.com expert many times over. I just cannot believe such amazing customer service exists.

Placed an order for three pieces of printed work, phoned to ensure artwork was received, when didn't arrived on delivery day, phoned to chase then they said didn't have artwork, some of it was resent, then still more problems, to sum it up one piece was printed three times before it was correct. Promised credit note fro inconvenience, still not arrived, after chasing numerous times

Having worked as a photographer and graphic designer for 2 years I have used a number of printers but will now only go to printed.com. They were helpful, efficient and couldn't have printed my artwork any better.
I chose Printed.com to print the orders of service for my brothers wedding. To be honest the file I sent them was not quite right and the finished product came back with some errors, which were totally my fault. When I emailed the customer service team they were more than helpful, realigning, reprinting and checking my order at no extra cost. Totally beyond the call of duty- they have put my faith back into customer services! Thank you!

I used printed.com for my wedding invites. The motif for the front had been designed for me and by following the instructions on the website we managed to upload as pdf. When I emailed to ask questions during this process the written advice I received wasn't that helpful but I called the freephone number and got through to a really helpful adviser. I received the printed invites bang on time and they were great quality, exactly what I had expected. Also good value. I would recommend to someone looking to do similar for their wedding.
I was recommended Printed.com by a friend who had used them to print all her wedding stationary she had designed. As our company require a variety of printed promotional materials I thought I'd give Printed.com a try and I have not been disappointed at all. The quality of the products is brilliant and great value for money. Some other sites I have used them in the past had quoted twice as much and the quality of Printed.com is just the same (if not better) as the more expensive sites. The team are helpful when I have spoken to them and are able to go that extra mile to ensure that I get the best service possible. Even when I'd submitted the incorrect artwork they were able to pop the job on hold and let me re-submit the correct stuff. Some other companies would not have allowed this.

I am a small company making handmade preserves and I needed some marmalade labels printed cheaply but the best quality. I googled label printing and printed.com came up. I was immediately impressed by their attractive and very easy to use website. I love the very easy way you can get a quote within seconds. As the company was new to me I requested some label samples which came free by post the following day. Happy with the samples I place my order on the Monday and received them by lunch time on the Wednesday. Wow, what service and the quality was excellent. I was not only impressed by the quality and speed of my order but also the excellent customer service. When I had a question and called printed.com, I spoke to a polite informative girl who knew the business and helped me in whatever way she could. I've used Printed.com a few times now, mainly for brochures for trade shows but also for signage (foamboard) and postcards etc. The website is great to use and easy to compare prices which can be an awkward thing to do if you are getting quotes from a company and keep asking them for different permutations! You can do all of that on the printed.com website. Delivery is fast and you are told when you are going to get your delivery which is great. Finally the quality is always perfect which isn't always the case with other printers I have used. One other point - a couple of times I have had an issue with the size of my artwork and have received an email immediately saying that my order is on hold and that I need to contact the customers services team. It is reassuring to know that someone is checking the artwork before printing - and both times the technical team has been very helpful in sorting it out. So all in all a great experience with great results!
I requested a printing job from Printed.com for 100 A5 brochures for a total of £134. Obviously that was digital printing but I am fine with that, I didn't need a large quantity for the moment.
When they got delivered, after a quick check I could notice that 3 pages out of the 24 had a white strip at the top. I guess that the printing process is fully automated and that nobody checks the printing jobs, I don't have a problem with that.
I reported that to one of their team member and I was told that the problem came from the file I provided them with. Though I provided them with a file with correct bleeds and crop marks, I was told that the printing job can sometimes shift and result in the loss of the alignment of pages in your printing job and that I should have extended the pictures over the bleed marks. First, all the other pages went fine so I don't understand why 3 of them only went wrong since exactly the same format for all the pages was used. Second, I followed all the instructions while submitting the file and didn't receive such instructions while uploading it. The fully automated process finds here its limitations.
That is £134 lost because since I put a lot of effort in the design of the brochures and have set decent standards in my communication to clients, I don't want it to be ruined by poor printing so I was unable to use brochures on time and had to use my Ipad to make sales pitches. I have now to find another printer and re-do everything all over again.
Also, the company they use for delivery failed to deliver on the day that was mentioned to me and said I wasn't there and said a card was left which is a lie, no card was left and nobody showed up to deliver the brochures, I was there all day. I think the delivery man didn't bother to show up and just pretended he did to get away with it. Printed.com reimbursed the shipping costs to me which is nice but doesn't make up for the fact that I stayed all day at home waiting for the delivery that never happened.
Conclusion : For straight forward files and assuming that the delivery man will do his job properly, Printed.com offers a cheap and quick printing service. In ANY other situations, it will be a waste of time and money.
UPDATE : PRINTED.COM let me know that they are sorry for the experience I had with them and decided to fully refund me for the job mentioned above. They seem to take into account customers feedbacks when things go wrong and act accordingly. I am upgrading my rating to 3 stars, I can't go higher than that though since I lost time in the process and it affected my business.
printed.com were found through Google. Their website offered me a wide range of solutions for my large format poster-sized prints. In particular I admire the wide range of materials available to suit most needs. Also, the flexibility and large range of print sizes.
I placed my first order and this was delivered to me within a couple of days and was exactly what I wanted. The packaging was good too - with no damage to the work. I would recommend printed.com without hesitation.
This was the first time I had ordered from printed.com So with any order I make on the internet or phone regarding business stationery I take it with a pinch of salt, until I recieve the final product, especially when it says A5 - £30 for 100 cards delivery included. I have 15 years experience of ordering cards etc.....PRINTED.COM have outdone themselves! Ordered on Wednesday.....received on Friday. I ordered some letterheads and compliments slips for my business. Printed.com provided the best price I could find online for a product of really good quality. I would recommend ordering a sample pack, they have a wide variety of options for business stationary.
