I have used Printed.com several times in the past and they'd always delivered, but it seems like when the goings good, it's good, and when something goes wrong, well the ship effectively sinks. They tried 3 times to print 2 sets of greeting cards for a client of ours, Error 1. they lost some of the artwork, Error 2. they printed the wrong insides on the cards, Error 3. they did error 2 twice!!!! Subsequently we have lost the client as these we're important Christmas cards and they have now missed their deadline. Very poor show from Printed.com with a very lack luster effort to resolve the situation. Avoid!!!!
The whole process was simple and the website easy to navigate. As usual we had left our Christmas cards to the last minute, but as promised, our cards arrived within the time frame of 48 hours, which I didn't expect due to the busy time of year. They are of great quality using good materials and the print was sharp. I would definately recommend this company without hesitation.
service amazing.... I had to phone, as was worried I had missed something as was so easy to do on line..... Then I had to change the delivery address...... email answered really quickly.... and then our Christmas cards arrived... as promised two days later (standard) and they are totally brilliant.... OK our design was really good too!! Really high quality print, paper and envelopes and damn good price...... will be using again and would confidently recommend.
Just received my calendars and Christmas cards. As a first time customer, I have to say I'm impressed. The ordering process isn't as intuitive as some other sites, but the product is very good. The prices are even better. And it was all delivered in a week, on time, and well packaged. I'll definitely use Printed.com again.
Several jobs have come back badly cropped. I mean really badly, slicing through text etc, and documents are varying in size by up to 3mm. Very poor work, and obviously not checked before it left the site, or if it was, then no one really gave a monkey's what it looked like.
I've photographed the work and mailed the images and descriptions back to "the team".
But no one has replied to me in over 24 hours.
The Customer Charter states (or boasts, even) that all correspondence will be replied to within one hour and that any problem relating to a print job will be resolved within 24 hours.
This is just a bare faced lie.
Why write rubbish like that if you can't back it up? It's meaningless.
Why haven't they replied to me?
I am under pressure to get a job finished and my printer will not communicate with me. Why stress your customers out like this?
I don't really care about leaving opinions, I just want to get my job finished properly. or at least find out if I need abandon all hope and to go to another printers.
I've read through the platitudes handed out to other irate customers in this forum, and they are as meaningless as the customer charter.
IF I LEAVE PRINTED.COM A ONE STAR REVIEW, DO YOU THINK THEY MIGHT FINALLY REPLY TO MY EMAILS?

Being a bit green to the process I had to speak to customer services to check a couple of things before using the very straight forward process. (I ordered stickers and greetings cards.) Their customer services were human, had a sense of humour (always a bonus), made me feel as though they cared about my job, were calming and very helpful. The printing was top quality, I was very impressed, and when we did encounter a problem with the delivery so not printed.com's fault, they resolved the problem quickly and again, their customer services were great to deal with. I'm about to place another order with them and have total faith in the company. Not often you can say that.
I was a bit apprehensive that I couldn't see a preview of my printing beforehand, but I followed the template and trusted them to know what they were doing. And the results are perfect. I can't believe a) the quality b) the value and c) that someone placed a follow up call to check I was happy with my printing. Good customer service means a lot to me, and that combined with the high quality means I'll be using them to print more flyers in the very near future. I will also put my faith in them to print my range of greeting cards. Awesome job, printed.com
I ordered some save the date wedding postcards and they were printed and delivered promptly. It's a bit of a faff not being able to submit jpegs, but there are loads of free programmes on t'internet that let you convert them to pdf easily and i'm no computer expert! Postage isn't particularly cheap but the actual cost of having my stuff printed was very reasonable so i've no complaints. Anyway, when they were delivered the quality was excellent and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who needs some printing doing. In fact i've just ordered some more!
I chose to use printed.com for my photobook after receiving a similar project from Another Escape. Having emailed them for advice they suggested printed.com were better for printing photographic material compared to where they had previously used.
My project was in collaboration with my boyfriend but we live in different locations. The information on the website was clear so I knew the correct sizes to send to him. Contact via both email and phone (on his part) regarding a few queries were dealt with accordingly. The only problem we incurred was adding to our order. We ordered the books but then realised we wanted postcards as well but didn't want to pay double the postage as it was all coming to the same address. This was resolved by phone in which we received a voucher to cut the postage for the postcards.
The quality of the books exceeded my expectations as we were worried how it would turn out due to this being our first attempt producing a book. Having shown them to friends and ex-university tutors they have all commented on the quality, asking where they were done. I am happy to use printed.com in the future and recommend them to others.
I am a designer and wedding stationer and decided to work with printed.com - BIG MISTAKE!
The very first order I placed had the wrong quantity, so I contacted printed.com about this!
The second order I placed was for my first stationery customer, so a bride and groom that had put their trust in me to deliver their wedding stationery for their big day! Printed.com delivered their invitations upside down! I checked my art work and contacted printed.com who apologised and admitted their mistake and offered to reprint the items for my customer. They then gave me a new delivery date so my bride stayed in again to wait for the new items and they were not delivered on time and were actually delivered the next day! So not only had my bride received the upside down prints, but she then had to take time off work for nothing!
The third order I placed was more items for myself of my stationery for photo shoots, wedding fairs and sample packs. This arrived with me and although I was told it required a signature on delivery, it was just left with a neighbour instead when I had not requested this! When I got my order all the items were trimmed wrongly with white lines down one side or the whole design off centre. I contacted printed.com who told me that it was their fault (I also checked my pdf to make sure and it was definitely their fault) and blamed staff shortage / illness on this problem. They reprinted them and gave me a refund but when they arrived again they then had ink splats on them and were trimmed wrongly in a different way. 12% of the reprints were unusable which is not acceptable at all. I contacted printed.com who blamed my artwork even though previously they had agreed that there was nothing wrong with that. I checked my art work and it was fine and they then blamed the fact that I wanted my items printed uncoated (which is a finish they offer - so why offer this if they cannot deliver it?). These are waiting to be reprinted again, and I was told that I would have to have them printed with a laminate finish which is NOT what I ordered.
The fourth order was for another bride and groom and when they went to collect the items there were NO envelopes included even though I ordered them. They want to send their invites out this weekend so I contacted printed.com again who said they would send the envelopes out for them - no apology and no reason for them not being included besides 'human error'. They were also sent the wrong quantity of evening invitations too! So my bride will now have to either wait in from work, organise a new delivery or drive 30minutes AGAIN to go and collect them when they should have been included in the first place.
The fifth order was the same as above - another bride and groom who did not get their envelopes. So the envelopes are on their way to them and they will also have to wait in or collect them when they should have been included as I ordered them.
When I have contacted printed.com, at first I was given an apology but each time since the customer service has become rude and abrasive, even though despite being frustrated I feel I have been pleasant whilst stating my problems. I was told that there was nothing more printed.com could do for me and was even blamed at one stage for these errors. When I asked why none of the orders can actually be printed correctly the first time round I was told that was why they have the customer charter so that they can reprint for their customers! Surely delivering 100% the first time around is what they should be striving for, not apologies and sloppy reprints?
I have also been banned from their facebook page after leaving a small and non-malicious comment about how disappointed I was - they are obviously trying to hide their mistakes from other potential customers.
Can I also point out that all of the above orders and mess ups (apart from order 1) have taken place this last WEEK! So 100% of the orders I placed in a week have been wrong! And I have spent countless hours emailing / phoning / chasing round after their team and back and forth with my customers that I have had to put off a photo shoot, contact other printers, push aside freelance work and put on hold orders! I have lost sleep over this and I can't imagine the word of mouth advertising that I will receive from my brides that have had to put up with printed.com's mistakes. I have spent almost every evening dealing with some mess that printed.com has caused and I am now having to put my stationery business on hold until I find someone that can actually deliver what they say they will!
I don't understand why, when the website and ordering process is so simple and straight forward, that the production staff cannot just read what is written on each order and deliver what is required.
I was told that it is difficult for printed.com to deliver what they say, that it is human error, that it is my fault, that it is because people are off sick, that people have left them short staffed etc etc. I was told that the orders I had placed were not actually possible to fulfil, but only after they had been messed up for my customers and myself. Why offer these things if they cannot deliver them correctly the first time around?
Which then leads me to my final point - they say on their website that they care for the environment, that they take green action. Yet the amount of reprints and extra deliveries that I have had alone in the last week will have contributed to so many carbon emissions and environmentally detrimental aspects that I don't know why they bother!
I am disgusted! No doubt this comment will be deleted by them too!

Well you can totally ignore their customer charter on the right here,
1) 5 emails sent over past week, 4 totally ignored and 1 that took 24 hours to respond to (and that just said “sorry would you like a refund?”)
2) As for telephone, called 3 times got told someone would call back each time and no one ever did.
3) Resolve problems with jobs within 24 hours?, Well 7 working days later and still nothing
Basically after agreeing to reprint a job and saying I would have it within 3 days, they have completely ignored me. The job was due to be delivered on a Thursday, still nothing by Friday afternoon, so I emailed them to ask what was happening. No response. I called them, got told someone would call me back. No one did.
Called again, told problem with job , still not printed but have a solution and will print on Monday. I asked to be called Monday to let me know either way if job ok or not Got no call on Monday. Emailed Tuesday. No reply
Eventually i got an email on the Wednesday saying sorry, dont know whats wrong, would you like a refund? That would of been fine a week ago but a bit late now as my customer has lost patience.
I can only assume the company is aimed at large companies or large buyers of digital print but for the individual or small/ occasional print buyer then they dont really give a monkeys about you when it comes to customer service, their customer charter is obviously just marketing rubbish. Ive now lost a customer because they just ignored me rather than letting me know there was a problem.
Stick to auraprint.co.uk in future
I have used printed.com a couple of time in the past and they were very good. However when my latest order arrived - a 1m x 1.5m Foamex board, the colours were not right. I contacted printed.com and they said there was no problem they would print it again free of charge. When the second board arrived (very quickly) the colours were still wrong. I contacted printed.com again and one of their staff very helpfully explained that the profile I had been using for the PDF was at fault. They offered again to reprint the board FREE of charge if I sent the correct artwork, which I did. The third board arrived this morning and is PERFECT! I cannot thank printed.com enough for putting up with me. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking for printing.
I had a terrible experience with printed.com - I was trying to print some 'Save the Dates' for my upcoming wedding which I had designed in PhotoShop. Initially I chose printed.com because of the 'Luxury Papers' option, and they sent me a free shipping code which made it a reasonable deal.
My first order was for the Laid paper style but when the cards arrived they had strange thick indentations in them. Also the edges of my design had been severely cropped (not made very clear on uploading my design) and the envelopes I bought to go with the postcards were about 2 cm bigger all the way around making them look really unprofessional. I emailed their customer service team and was told to provide a photo, which I did. They replied quite abruptly to say that the as the dents were regularly spaced they must be part of the paper finish (why aren't they there in the preview design then?!) and not even an apology. Fortunately the next day I recieved a courtsey email asking how my order was - I replied with the same complaints and they offered me a refund and 20% off my next order (although I need to point out that 3 weeks on, there's no sign of my refund).
I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and place another order with printed.com, although my free delivery code had now expired so I had to pay £7.99 shipping! I altered my design and chose the paper finish Sirio Pearl. However one week after placing my order I was emailed by the rude and obnoxious printed.com team to say that my design had not uploaded properly and that I should resubmit it to them. I sent them the PowerPoint file (which I had uploaded to the website) however was informed that they would only accept PDF. I managed to find a free file converter and sent them the new file. In time I recieved my new postcards, however the printing quality was poor and the paper quality was nothing like I expected (they felt very flimsy).
I have now had my designs printed through moo.com which has been an altogether more pleasant experience - their upload process allows you to see which parts of your design will be cropped and you can print on both sides for free!
In the interest of balance I will say that the first cards I recieved from printed.com were a nice print quality, and although their shipping price is ridiculous they were delivered quickly. Finally, I recieved a bizarre number of postcards for both orders - the first time I ordered 30 but got 60 and the second I ordered 25 but got 80!?
We are currently planning our wedding and looking at ways to stay in budget. So instead of buying wedding invites we designed our own and searched for a professional company to print them.
We thought that printed.com's prices and speed were too good to be true but decided to gamble on them anyway. Within a few days our invites had arrived and looked flawless. Fantastic quality and speed.
Having never had anything printed before we were not sure how to do it but Printed.com have a help section on the website that tells you exactly how to prepare your document, using several different programs, to send to them. We used Illustrator and the finished product really does look exactly like the illustrator file. With no problems with trimming etc.
Still cannot believe the price, it was half the cost of all the other sites we looked at!
Would we use them again? We already have ;)
Quality of print is fantastic, I'm really pleased with how my cards and stickers have turned out. Delivery was spot on.
I'm a bit wary of using online print places having had a few disasters in the past but they're on their way to changing that.
Got these products for my business facebook.com/absolutelystationery
Everything had been Excellent, Was told to expect delivery on a certain date which never came, called in to find out why ...and was told the order had not left their offices.
So why was I told to expect delivery on a certain date. the representative was rude and was not even apologetic for the mixup, a poor attitude I feel - could do with better customer services.

This was my first time ordering with Printed.com and also my first time making a document like this. I ordered the saddle stitch brochures and designed all the pages myself, the website clearly showed me what format to do them in to their best quality. After my order I received a call about the files and how to improve them, a very helpful man talked me through all the changes and got them perfect. When they arrived they were on time and perfect. The documents were incredibly professional and of a very high quality without breaking the bank! Would definitely recommend.
Just wanted to say that I have just tried Printed, having searched the Internet to find a reliable, not too expensive service. I had already signed up elsewhere but found the process very complicated and with 'hidden extras'. Printed was straight forward, a pleasure to use. I uploaded over the weekend and my lovely brochures arrived first thing on the Tuesday morning - and they look great. I don't think you can beat that for service. Well done!
I've printed with printed.com once before and loved the results so returned for a second order. I opted for a paper stock that was textured and am so pleased with the results. It's hard to find a printers that use such a textured stock and thats important to me.
I opted for postcards as you can have multiple images - I can't wait till I'm able to do this with greeting cards as well!
I have been using this company for short run printing for over a year and they have never let me down. I love the ease of selecting product options, the print quality and the amazingly low prices. It's fair to say their quoting system needs a bit of work as my clients like to know exact delivery costs, which aren't all that easy to see at a glance, but they are improving their service all the time by taking on board suggestions from existing customers, so hopefully this shouldn't be too long in coming.
I am very happy to recommend Printed.com and their excellent service.

I had a really positive experience with this company from start to finish.
The website is clear, concise, easy to use and navigate meaning that even someone like me with limited experience of printing requirements could order the posters I needed quickly and easily.
E-mail confirmations were received at every step meaning i could track the progress of my order which arrived prior to the expected delivery date.
When the goods arrived they were securely packaged and in perfect condition.
The print quality of the posters i ordered far exceeded my expectations given the competetive price i paid.
An unexpected call asking whether i was pleased with the order once received was a nice touch and made me feel like a valued customer.
I can recommend this company with confidence and will be using them again.
Fantastic price for short run items, easy to use website and ordering system, friendly staff and i was really happy with the quality of the print.
My only improvement would be to have a thumbnail of the artwork i uploaded next to my order.
All in all, a great company and i would definitely use again :)
I love online brands and kooky companies that make it easy for start ups (with little know how), to order all our printing needs so every piece of human advice and help is really welcomed by me.
Every time I see an online company who just dishes out an email help service only - it's a turn off. Printed.com is different.
They give humans, (talented helpful humans who know about designs so you can call and ask questions about your artwork) for us clients to talk to, on a freephone number!! I got stuck, called up and rather than left on hold, their agent made sure I got through to the right designer and I was quickly helped and dealt with efficiently by this lovely patient designer (two in one go!!). I fell in love there and then. Of course I'll keep going back now.
Plus I think Printed.com are cheaper than moo.com and quality of products is just as excellent. So well done and keep it up Printed.com - you helped my ickle start up: www.lovedesh.com.
I have worked in the print industry for over eight years. I now run a small bespoke design agency and often need to refer clients to low-volume, cost effective and good quality print suppliers.
Printed.com are able to provide a service that is comparable to the larger more established, low volume, internet based print companies out there at much more competitive prices whilst still providing the same quality paper and printing stocks.
Turn around is fast and effective with open communication channels. In addition to this, they are the first low volume printers I have come across who provide a proofing service.
I shall be signing up for an affiliate link and referring future clients to Printed.com

I've been using Printed.com over the last year or so and couldn't be more chuffed with their service. Major advantage is the easy upload and quoting service on their clear and friendly website. No more waiting on printers to come back to you with prices! Their stock range is great, their print quality is fantastic (Indigo presses -YAY) and their turnaround quick and reliable! They're constantly improving themselves upon customer suggestions and come back to you pretty pronto when you email them a question. I'm a big fan - can you tell?
Splendid Stitches is a new company and therefore every penny counts. We needed flyers to promote the business at vintage fairs and in vintage shops, and have now used Printed.com several times. Upload is easy and delivery fast. The print quality is great too and I cannot recommend them enough for friendliness and price. Only concern is the paper quality as I have ordered on several different gsm and the final product doesn't seem consistent with what I have received. But hey-ho, it does the job.
The service is so quick from placing the order, to within a couple of days the item arrived on my door step. Fantastic. Really pleased with the staff, they are so helpful and very patient. Will recommend to friends and family. Well done.
Being in the filming industry we have ordered posters for our previous productions from other National printing companies and have been happy with the results, but sometimes had a longer than anticipated wait for the material to arrive. This was not the case with Printed.com. I have listed exactly how it went down!!
Day 1 - Posters (including A2 & A0 size) ordered. Using their sizing support tools, including how to save as .PDF negated any concerns I had of getting it wrong! The instructions were easy to follow and gave details of how to save as .PDF in different platforms (I was using Photoshop).
Day 1 - (Later that day!) I received an email to say there was a problem with one of my files I had uploaded (due to me sizing it wrong, completely my fault!!). The team were very helpful and talked me through what I needed to do to rectify this, and re-send the file through to them.
Day 2 - Order confirmed and in progress.
Day 3 - Order confirmed as dispatched!
Day 4 - The posters arrived. I have to say that the quality is exceptional, even the A0 is fantastic quality! If I had sized the file correctly the first time I would have had my posters in 3 days! An outstanding turnaround time!
I have to confess that we would use Printed.com again for any of our artwork in future productions. The service is quick, the staff professional & knowledgeable , and the quality of the prints outstanding! If you have any concerns about ordering with this company, then please feel free to get in touch with me and I can tell you personally how satisfied I was with the service the provided!
Our production is pushing on!!

I'll summarise my delightful experience with printed.com with 3 simple points:
1) The website - how easy is it to order?! Seems almost too easy! When a website looks this pretty and straightforward, I often worry that actually ordering what I want will be difficult - but not so. So simple to choose your options and see prices, with artwork guides available too.
2) The service - helpful, polite, quick, friendly - perfect. Seems like they have a great team behind them.
3) The quality - I picked up my delivery today after super fast delivery with CityLink. Quality is excellent (I ordered stickers, postcards and business cards) and very well packed so nothing got damaged or wet (in this god awful weather!).
Thank you printed.com for an excellent customer experience! Oh, I must mention the prices too, which were extremely competitive!
As a designer trying to start up a small business I have spent a lot of my time trying to find a company to print my items at the quality and price I require. I am pleased to say I have found that company! My first impression of printed.com was the slick website, its easy to use and unlike other sites they are able to give you a tailor made quotation based on exactly what you require without having to email for quotes, they offer a variety of paper weights, finishes and lamination options and the quotes themselves are very reasonable. The main thing I have found with other printing companies is the poor delivery options, often i have found they offer a budget delivery option (which takes in excess of 2 weeks) or a next day delivery service (that costs almost as much as the goods themselves!). I opted for the cheapest delivery with printed.com and was surprised to find the estimated delivery date a week away! Each time I have ordered something it has arrived on time and the quality has been exceptional!
A couple of other things to add: the downloadable templates make ordering really easy, for any printing novices I recommend them and if ou have any questions at all I found the customer service team to be really helpful.
I would thoroughly recommend!
I ordered a custom-sized poster and found the ordering form really easy to use. Indeed I find the pdf format restrictive, but it was fine with me. I was initially disappointed to find out that the delivery would last longer than estimated on the website - please try not to dissapoint customers by promising to deliver sooner and then failing to do so! But when I voiced my concerned I received immediate answer from the team and received a free next-morning delivery. Overall, pleased with the quality and would buy again.
Very inflexible on format (PDF?!) very unhelpful when the size was incorrect, had to phone several times to sort it out! And when the result arrived (half a week late) the quality is shoddy - I get a better print quality on my inkjet! You get what you pay for I guess, but better not bother. We are going to get em reprinted with another company!
