Ordered a canvas which despite poor reviews arrived without incident BUT at checkout was tempted by a photobook deal. Ordered on the 31/12/12 and I am still waiting for the voucher code to order the photobook. Numerous emails and no response. Not even an auto reply. Very poor.
I bought a Groupon voucher for a 100-page leather bound book by Printerpix in late 2012. When I decided to use it I spotted that expiry date in the voucher was different to the one mentioned in the fine print. The latter stated my voucher had expired. I emailed the company and waited for a while. Meanwhile I happened to read reviews about the company and got horrified, not a single positive comment. I was about to throw away the voucher and not to waste my time. But the I thought 30 euros was too much to just give away to Groupon. Fortunately enough I got a very nice and professional email from Printerpix customer service team ( waiting time -5 days) assuring me that my voucher's date got extended. I went ahead with the book. I found it very inconvenient that I had to be online all the time while I was making it and thats the reason I will be reluctant to use it again in future. My book arrived around 3 weeks later. I didnt expect an exceptional quality of pictures, though my camera is very good. None of those companies dealing with Groupon and similar deals companies are great, so I never expect super quality for a penny. I wont be using Printerpix if I need something of a higher standard or a special present, but for my personal use it's just fine.
I bought a deal from Groupon for a canvas. I had a quick look on the internet for PrinterPix reviews as I hadn't used them before. I saw quite a few reviews advising people to steer clear but thought as it was a Groupon voucher I'd give them a go. Worst mistake ever. My order came (eventually). It had a big dirty black mark on the background of the photo on the canvas and as the background was white it was an eyesore. I emailed PrinterPix again and again and again and again and....I lost count of how many times and had no response whatsoever. I eventually had to contact Groupon who said they contacted PrinterPix and would get them to contact me. It didn't happen. Groupon asked them again. They contacted me and when I emailed them back they ignored me. It went on like this for a few weeks until eventually I opened a PayPal dispute (sooo glad I paid through PayPal). Long story short Groupon eventually gave in and refunded my money for the initial deal. I am still £10 down though because I had to pay PrinterPix extra for delivery and also I paid for a hanging hook (which I never received).
A week after i got my refund Printerpix sent me an email apologising for the delay in the production of my canvas and they would ship it out to me asap. What!? I received my order weeks ago and certainly didn't want another one! I emailed them back to point out their error. But again, surprise surprise - no contact.
I cannot stress enough how AWFUL and INCOMPETENT this company is. How they are still trading is beyond me!
I placed an order on the 3rd of Feb 2013 for a large canvas print and paid £127.
Having chased them up for my order I was advised that due to poor or damaged production they had to cancel my order and reprint.
Waited another 2 weeks and nothing.
Called them again and was advised that my order had quality control problems for the second time.
Enough was enough and asked for my money back.
Don't be fooled by there web site as they cannot deliver any of the advertised products.
Took far too long to send the items (weeks), when it arrived the pictures were very dark and the cover of the photobook was imperfect.
It has been sent back and I am still waiting for the order which was placed originally in November. Slow communication and a poor product.
Ordered a simple photo canvas over a month ago which said 10 days delivery....been waiting over a month. Called customer service around 30 times - they lie and say it will be with me the next day - then when I call next day say it hasn't been printed yet. They ask you to email then don't reply to any emails and delete facebook posts of any negative feedback. Can't believe a company can do this!
I have been forced to report them to Citizens Advice and they are now looking into the company and its lack of customer service! I urge others who have problems to do the same.
Ordered a print, which was delivered about 8 weeks later. Nothing complicated, just enlarged photo. Once received it was the wrong size. Got in touch with customer service (after 3 weeks of trying to contact someone). Explained the problem and three weeks later they sent me a new print...same exact size as the first one! Called customer service again, and they said they couldn't stretch the print any larger. HELLO? Then why wasn't I told this when I ordered, or reordered?!?! Since then, I have been asking them how they plan to rectify this situation (going on one month now) and they will not reply back to me. Very poor business practices. Wish I had never even heard of this place!
As a lover of groupon deals and with Christmas looming, I spotted a deal for some calendars from Printerpix. Good deal and as I'd got some 'cheapy' calendars from VistaPrint the year before, I thought that as I wanted a few more this would be better deal. Nope!!
When they arrived I was so disappointed with the quality. The images I uploaded were from an excellent camera yet once printed the photos were badly printed, very red and the front cover was scratched and marked. There was no way I could give these to my family as presents!
The thing is my family own a printing company, but being busy before Christmas and not specialising in calendars I decided to use this groupon offer for Printerpix. Being printers we could tell that their printing machinery is very poor, hence the poorly printed item and if we'd ever handed our clients their printed items in the state printerpix delivered mine, we'd have no clients left!
I complained via email but standard response is 3 days. I did get a reply after 3 days but when you reply to their question, again another 3 days has to pass. They agreed to a reprint but took 6 weeks, and when they 'apparently' delivered the delivery address was shut. It also transpires that they use postcode finder to verify your address. This is not always accurate and in my case they put a totally different business name so chances are my calendars are with them!
I finally got a call two days ago (Jan 29 2013) and my original order was October 2012. They sent out new calendars first class and they've just landed on my desk. Problem is the quality is still awful and they've also sent me someone's calendar. Another disappointed Printerpix customer methinks.
I'll be honest, my £1 calendar from vistaprint last year knocks spots off Printerpix...I'll leave that with you.
By far the worst company I have ever dealt with. Have wasted hours trying to get through to them and then impossible to obtain a consistent answer to my query.
I ordered 5 large canvases off groupon (never again). I then realised that my picture files were not large enough to be expanded to that size, I then contacted printer pix who said they were happy to give me 10 smaller ones instead.
It took literally 45 minutes of holding to get through to them on the phone. After being put on hold repeatedly so the staff member could get confirmation from a superior, I was told that I should email my vouchers and upload my pics to the website. I did this. Nothing happened.
I tried to call, holding wait was too long for my lunch break! So I then emailed and explained what I had already been told by Printerpix. The email back made no acknowledgment of what I had said, or the previous phonecalls, and just told me to contact groupon!! After the hours I've already spent on this, and after being told by Printerpix on the phone that they could process my order, I emailed back to say that I wanted my order processed and reconfirmed that this had already been okay'd with 2 members of staff. I then got a second reply from a different person, who AGAIN obviously hadn't read my email, telling me to go to groupon.
This whole process has been absolutely exhausting and I've felt like I've been round in endless circles. I'm so disappointed with both Printerpix and groupon, I really think groupon should vet companies before partnering with them. It only took me 5 seconds on google to see that this company was ridiculously incompetent.
Bought a jigsaw picture puzzle as a present for an older relative. The product arrived after 21 days in an envelope! There was no conventional puzzle box or picture to copy from? The jigsaw itself was printed on nothing thicker than flimsy cardboard. The picture was dreadful & blurry. The pieces started to rip when I began to disasemble it! Thankfully I did not pay the full rrp but it still cost around £13 which included there high £4.99 p&p charges. Customer service is non existent, they don't answer the telephone & the e mail reply is just a generic one, so far I have e mailed them 3 times & all they have said return the product & then they'll decide what happens next.
I ordered a discount on GroupOn, started working on a gift for my husband of a photo book, worked days, hours. Then received email saying they were changing their program and any work in progress HAS to be ordered or it will be lost. I quickly finished the book BEFORE I was truly ready, placed my order in mid-December. The promise to have the book in 21 business days has NOT happened. Numerous emails continue to promise that it is being worked on, almost completed, still no product. I cannot recreate the HOURS upon HOURS of creativity making my book, so I REALLY want my product, but SO disappointed. Now after reading recent reviews, around same time I placed my order that mainly appear to be from other GROUPON customers, I'm scared I'm either NOT going to get the book I worked so hard on OR get a horrible product. At least if I am not satisfied, I will take the matter up with my credit card company where I do have luckily buyer protection there. I hope I get my book and can later report a satisfactory result, but now I have low hopes. I always work with Shutterfly and Snapfish and have NEVER had such a problem. I wish I hadn't fallen for the Groupon Deal. Makes me think twice on utilizing those discounts, maybe a hard lesson to learn on this one. As they say, you get what you pay for! Buyer beware on this company for sure.
I ordered a photo calendar for a Christmas gift. I placed the order over 3 weeks before Christmas and paid for expedited shipping. After 2 1/2 weeks, I sent an email and got a response stating that it was completed and should be shipped the next day. After a few more days I called their 888 # and was told the exact same thing. I sent more e-mails to which I didn't even get a response. I called and called, but just received the same response. I asked for a refund for the expedited shipping and was told it would be refunded in 3-7 days. That was the beginning of January. Now it's January 22nd. Still no calendar, still no refund. I called a few minutes ago and the representative stated he called the shipping warehouse and they were trying to locate the package. I asked to speak to the supervisor or manager, and conveniently he was on lunch at that time. I don't know what more to do. If this is not fixed today I'll research, who is outside of their company, to have this fixed once and for all. I am warning all that view this message - DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM PRINTERPIX. Go to Walmart, Shutterfly, snapfish. Any other place. I made the mistake of not checking all reviews before purchasing, don't let it happen to you.
I spent over 20 hours designing two photo books of a recent holiday. It was going to be a christmas present to the family.
The software they provide was actually quite straight forward to use once you familiarise yourself with it.
However upon delivery (and they wouldn't let me combine both books in the same post because I was using two voucher codes) the lack of quality was evident.
A good photo book should look nice and have a professional feel about it. The two I received looked cheap and tacky. The photos were definitely not of the largest resolution that I had uploaded them with. All photos looked pixilated. The quality of the printing is another story. Some pictures portrayed vertical lines and smudges. The colour wasn't right either. The contrast was terrible so all the photos appeared slightly grey.
Well done printerpix. Some companies just don't care about their finished product. With printerpix, it's all about enticing people into an attractive bargain and delivering them the bare minimum. I can guarantee that they make all of their profits from new customers as you would have to be stupid to be a returning one.
Please heed the advice of others who have reviewed this company and do not use Printerpix for ANYTHING.
I bought 2 vouchers for photo albums so that I could make gifts for our mothers after our wedding. The first problem was when I bought the "VOUCHERS" they didnt email me the codes.
After first emailing them and getting no response and then calling them and holding for over 20 minutes I got through to someone who said - oh yeah I have seen you email I havent had a chance to reply yet - he did however email me the codes.
So I set about uploading the photos to their website, using the methods described in their help section. Well after 3 hours solidly trying to upload photos and each time it failing I emailed them again asking for help. This was over 2 weeks ago, since then have emailed them numerous times, I have phoned them only to be kept on hold and no one answers the phone (I have called their 0844 number 8-10 times now sat on hold from anything from 15-45 minutes). I have contacted trading standard who have said all I can do is speak to them directly or take them to the small claims court. Both of these options will cost me more money.
Please please please advise anyone you know not to use this company. You'll be out of pocket, disappointed and driven mad because you'll never get what you asked for or your money back.
I placed an order in November and I paid extra to get the products shipped so they would be here in time for Christmas. Not the case at all. Last week, I sent an email asking for an update on when my products would be shipped. I received an automated email saying I would be contacted by a representative in 2 business days. Just to let you know that doesn't happen. I then have tried on multiple occasions to contact their customer service by phone. Sometimes I get automatically kicked off saying the system is working & if it doesn't do that you get the message that it will be 63 minutes before your phone call is answered. I wish I had read reviews before ever ordering with this company because after doing some research this company has hundreds of disgruntled customers in the US & UK that are unhappy with their horrible customer service & with the products they receive. Today I received an email stating that my products would be ready in 14 to 21 days, so I should receive them sometime in January. I have no trust in this company. Please go elsewhere when it comes to your photo needs.
I placed an order for a Samsung Galaxy S2 phone case with this company through a Groupon voucher offer. It is supposed to be a christmas present. I was quoted 10 days delivery, 20 days ago! They dont answer your emails, the phone line just says they are experiancing difficulties so you cant speak to anyone. They have also debited me twice for the postage. I would warn anyone against using this company.
I have had nothing but problems w/ this company!!
I purchased vouchers through AmazonLocal.com for photo books. The quality of the pictures was terrible! I supplied them w/ excellent quality pictures. The colors were off and alot of the pics were fuzzy.
I also ordered a calender. The picture quality was even worse than the photo book! The website does not mention that the calender is double sided. So if you write on the calender, it will bleed through to the image on the other side. It also arrived damaged!!! I immediately contacted customer service, but no one has the liberty to make decisions. They all refer problems to their supervisor "Michael". However, Michael never wants to speak w/ customers! I can not tell you how many times a rep promised me a call back from "Michael".
I also ordered a photo mug. That arrived, shattered!!! Again, customer service refers me to "Michael".
I was promised a specific refund for some shipping fees. Still have not received it!!
I have been trying to get resolutions from Printerpix for several weeks.
I finally spoke to "Michael" today... he was rude, disrespectful and condescending.I felt as if I was "wasting his time"! He claims he will be reprinting the calender and the mug & I should receive them before Xmas, but I won't hold my breath!! When I tried to address the issue of the calender being double sided and that the site doesn't mention that... he rudly tells me, there is a picture "clearly" showing it is double sided. Ha ha ha... it was a small corner flipped up, but not clear to see.
I will DEF be contacting AmazonLocal to make sure they NEVER do business w/ this ripoff company!!
Do not waste your time and money! Spend a few extra bucks w/ a more reputable company!!!!
We ordered several items and were promised two weeks delivery. It's now four weeks after that and we've had nothing, not even an acknowledgement that the order will be late.
The company does not answer, or even acknowledge, complaints. A message left on their Facebook page was deleted without explanation. There are many others on their page also complaining of late delivery and complete lack of communication.
This is a great shame as the products we've received from them before have been good and on time. This is the only thing that has saved them from a one-star review. Are they going bankrupt or something? They're still heavily advertising (notably on Groupon) but don't appear to be able to cope with the orders they have already received.
The website suggests 20 days for delivery in their busy periods max, but please be aware this is nowhere near accurate. I ordered in a not so busy period (I would think) and waited far in excess of 20 days. If you need a book urgently by a certain time, go elsewhere where you will get reliable delivery.
I expressed my concerns to Printerpix and did not even get a reply from their 'customer service' team.
I recently purchased a voucher via the Groupon website for a heavily discounted canvas print.
I never have very high expectations when something is so heavily discounted but I guess that can only mean I end up pleasantly surprised when it turns out better than expected.
Which was exactly the case...
The website was easy to navigate and upload my photo to. It also gave me a good indication if my uploaded photo met the requirements for the size I wanted.
Email order communication was good and the order arrived promptly and well packaged.
The canvas itself is true to the photo and I loved the textured canvas which went very well with the image I used.
I'd definitely use them again and will happily recommend. Even at full price. However now that I've bought from them once, I received another 60% discount code which is valid until the end of the year on any order & product.
Order a canvas and revived it only to find that it had not be wrapped around the frame correctly. After informing them it took them 2 weeks to say send it back to them. They advised me to send it back by a freepost service. So out of no fault of mine I have to spend the time buy the packaging, spend time taking into a local post office to send back!! When asked why they cannot arrange collection they replied they only have facilities to accept royal mail.
Yes their prices are cheap but so is the quality of their products. My advise pay the extra and use another company.
