Never experienced a poorer service!

Please read the other reviews you wouldn't believe the trouble I have had. Let's just say I have had to contact companies house, my banks fraud department and the police. They have had my money for 4 weeks, no order fulfillment, no refund. Said refund will take another 4 weeks which is ludacris and against statutory rights. I work in the ecommerce industry and I know that refunds can be sent within 1 minute so they obviously have no money to refund me. STAY CLEAR!

product delivered by customer service non-existent

Had to call them 3 times just to get an email acknowledging the order. Email eventually came several days after charging my credit card.

Then got an email "your order was despatched today". But according to the rep at protech that doesnt mean at all that your order was shipped. All it means is that she asked warehouse to send product with "no idea what happens after that".

product actually arrived as promissed.

Will not refund!

I have the same issue as others on here. I cancelled an order and requested a refund. They say ok but the refund never comes. They keep telling me the refund will be processed in a few days but nothing comes after 3 months+. They are a massive con.

AWFULL!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!

As the title states AVOIDDDD!!!!!! unless you want endless problems, no refund and sh*t customer service! Countless times they have said the refund has been processed but yet a 2 weeks later nothing! everytime i have rang up IDIOT 1 from the shed says that this has now been processed yet a day later IDIOT 2 says nothing has! WASTERS!!!

There website is total crap and the item which was originally brought stated 5 in stock but i received an email a few hours later saying out of stock and they had already taken my money! SHOCK!!!

They must run this from a shed or something... I think i could do a better job myself at shipping products from my bedroom! total joke and i would seriously spread the word to avoid this total SHAM of a company!

Customer service levels live up to their reputation and i have no hesitation in saying that this is the worst company i have ever dealt with! AVOID!!!!

Extremely Dodgy setup.

Ordered goods. They never sent confirmation email but immediately took nearly £300 out of my account. Contacted them by emails which they ignored. When I phoned them on their premium rate number they said they only discovered after posting that the order had been processed that they did not have the item in stock and wouldn't be getting it in again. even though they had taken my money. I asked for a refund and a confirmation email to say they would be refunding my money, neither of these came. The matter is now in the hands of my bank's fraud department who are investigating. Their site has disappeared a week ago.

Incorrect stock levels. Drop ships? Doesn't refund.

Ordered something for Christmas. The stock levels showed 4. Yeah, right. They couldn't deliver, often as drop shippers can't when the Christmas rush starts. So I cancelled my order, which they acknowledged. 1 month later, still no refund. Thank goodness I paid for it on my credit card. Chargeback time.
Business like this destroy confidence in Internet shopping.
Want confidence? Take a look at their address on Street Map: 581 London Road Sutton, Surrey SM3 9AE. Does that look like a large company capable of holding stock? Choose for yourself.

Do not use this company unless you are prepared for a load of grief.

Ordered a Samsung Smart 3DTV as a Christmas present for our 13 year old son.
It took 2 weeks and several phone calls to arrive even though we had paid £17 postage.
It obviously wasn't opened until Christmas day and when it was opened we were to discover that it had a European plug on it, but fortunately I had an adapter but others may have not been so prepared. I was to discover that an adapter should have been supplied but wasn't. When the TV was switched on it was faulty and was showing a small dark line on the screen. This was to deteriorate into 3/4s of the screen displaying a blurry image.
Initially they were unwilling to refund or replace as it had been more than 7 days since delivery, we had only had it 14 days and couldn't open it as it was a Christmas present. We were originally just after a replacement but decided that we no longer wished to deal with this company after many concerning phone calls and went for a refund instead. Eventually, a refund was agreed having informed them of our statutory rights, but this took over a month and many phone calls.
Overall this was a very stressful and time consuming experience. We would strongly recommend that you do not deal with this company. We so wish we had read these reviews before our hasty decision to purchase from them. Never again.

Takes ages for delivery

Over 10 days for delivery after paying over £10.

i ordered a hifi from this shop but they didnt have it in stock. i requested a refund which eventually came 3 weeks later. this isn't a scam site like so many have said before but my only advice is to email and check if item is in stock and also ask for delivery date or you may wait a while to get refunded.

Ordered Christmas present for 2 year old son which never arrived. No purchase confirmation received or despatch notification email from protechshop, only payment confirmation from PayPal. Emailed and received no response, called and it goes straight to phone jingle. Crap customer service. Raised dispute with PayPal and what do you know, they refund my money straight away! Lucky I used PayPal; a BIG mistake to use protechshop and I had a very disappointed little boy at christmas. In my opinion they are an untrustworthy and unprofessional company who do not fulfil orders or communicate with their customers. Really irritating and annoying. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!

I wish I had seen these reviews before making my purchase :-(

I ordered a Blu-ray writer/player. I received no email confirmation, then called to be told they had none in stock as they had problems with their website (it showed 5 in stock when I ordered!) They said would refund me, but nothing happened, so escalated it via Papal. Very disappointed as this was a present for my daughter for Christmas, so she will now have to wait :-( Hope this review helps other customers to shop elsewhere!!

AVOID !!!!

I ordered a soundbar for my Son for Christmas for £198.00 via their website that showed that it was instock on 10th December. Heard nothing from them, so on 17th December rang the phone number to find out when it was going to be despatched, only to be told it was out of stock (were they even going to tell me???? )and not going to be instock in time for Christmas. I asked for an immediate refund - I have now rang everyday for four days as the money still hasnt appeared back in my account - As I cannot afford to buy another one until the money comes back, its beginning to look like my son is going to be very disapointed on Christmas day. Also the phone number goes straight to a jingle when you ring, then if it isnt picked up within a couple of minutes the line goes dead !!!! - extremely disapointing and frustrating company to deal with.

I order an new Monitor for this company. The item was showing as in stock and had a 3-5 day delivery time. Rang the company 5 days later to find out what the delay was to find they didnt have in stock after all and couldnt be bothered to inform me.
Promised me my money back within 48 hrs. will have to wait and see if they do that or not!!!!

Yet another Website Technical fault (No stock)

Placed an online order for a "stock" LG 42LM3400 (3 day delivery) after 2 days I enquired to when the item was going to be shipped to be told that there had been a technical problem with the website and they would not have stock for another 2 weeks.
I asked for the item to be cancelled and a full refund to be given its been 4 days so far and the refund still has not gone back onto my card.

It seems im not the only customer who has "Techinical Issues" with the website

My advice is stay clear of them

Reliable company, although difficult to contact

I thought I would write this review as I had my concerns in ordering from www.protechshop.co.uk, but they delivered my purchase within 3 days and I was happy with the transaction.

I was slightly concerned when I did not receive a despatch email or tracking number for my order, even more so when I could not get an answer on the phone number they provide. However the AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Black Edition CPU I purchased arrived on time and in brand new condition.

In fairness their customer service did respond to a dispute I raised via Paypal in a professional and courteous manner, but I felt with a little more communication I would not have had any concerns.

This was the cheapest site I found the AMD Phenom II processor and am glad I made this purchase in the end. I have rated them 4 stars out of 5 due to the lack of communication regarding despatch.

Absolutely terrible service

I'm pretty sure this company is run by a bunch of zombies or something, I made an order for some speakers I was after when I saw the price was considerably cheaper on a google shopping search. Wow, really wish I hadn't seen it. It took a whole week's wait before I e-mailed the company to see where my order stood, and to their credit they got back relatively fast, stating that "we had technical issues bllah blah blah..." Something I've already read a few times on this page and that "your order will be shipped tomorrow." Lo and behold another week's wait and another slightly angrier e-mail got me the reply, "sorry about any inconvenience caused, your item will be shipped today." and again, I waited another week. Nearly a month after I ordered my speakers I finally decided that e-mailing them was a lost cause, I thought I'd give them a call. I just got off the phone with a very helpful lady who also told me that they had not been shipped, still, and that now they were out of stock... She was kind enough to offer me a full refund and I took it.

The moral of this story is; Don't use protechshop.

Take money, no product, terrible service.

As with many things in life, if it looks too good to be true, it is.

Ordered a fairly low range cheap scanner; order marked as "processed" with no further details. After a week I emailed and received no response.

Chasing down this order I was eventually told two weeks later that the product was not in stock, and there had been a system error and that I must wait 37 days from my initial order before the product would be sent out.

Poor customer service, no efforts made to recompense, no discount to give me a reason to shop with them. I note the excuse of "systems error" is a very common one given out acording to other reviews and I only wish I saved my business downtime by better researching this company before being suckered in by prices.
