It makes a very refreshing change to be phoned when someone says they will, paperwork chased with other companies when they say they will and it leaves me very reassured that at least one company knows how to treat its customers. If only the rest did too.

Life/Critical Illness Cover was one of those things I knew I had to sort out, but was always in the "too difficult pile". However one phone call short listed some suitable (and very reasonably priced) products and the second call set up the necessary questions and arranged everything. Nothing was too much trouble for the agent to check or clarify and he even made the effort to successfully challenge the provider to reduce their costs when I originally came up with a higher premium due to a very old ill health incident. Very happy to recommend their services.
I enjoyed the experience of talking to people who knew and understood what I wanted.
Talking to the consultant ,dealing with my details was very enjoyable as she had a sense of humour and made some of the" difficult" questions bearable!

From the first phone call received full and frank explainations, so efficient with paperwork and follow up letters easiest insurance with a good named company I have ever taken out. Thank you prtectline I will be coming back to see you after Christmas to discuss life insurance

I applied on a compare website for insurance quotes. Protect Line were the first company to contact us by telephone. The ladies I spoke to were very friendly and chatty. The prices quoted didn't take an eternity to work out and more importantly was speaking to a human with a personality :-) Surprisingly the representatives even txt me and called me back exactly when they said they would... WOW... Now my husband has cancelled one of his policies and is in the midst of setting up a policy with Protect Line (I think he just wants to chat to the girls again :-) ) Massive well done from us Protect Line
I found Protect Line to be a very quick, efficient, simple and straightforward service. they asked me questions about my lifestyle family history and cover i wanted. the guy that i talked to initially took me through everything in terms i understood. i felt comfortable and not pressurised which always puts me off . the whole thing ran smoothly and i can now say i have the insurance i want thanks to them

Someone elses name came up connected with my policy who i did not name or even know - i.t. glich !!
incorrect splling on my flexible trust form, told this would not make any difference . would not be around to witness that so not convinced on that.
all issues have ben resolved but not convinced with the whole procedure.
Protect Line is a name that I'd never heard before and now that I've had the pleasure of my 'shopping' for life insurance with them, would not hesitate to recommend their services to family and friends. In less than 30 minutes I had purchased life insurance and it was pain free! The advisor, Carly, was lovely. She was helpful, patient, knowledgeable and not at all pushy and I can honestly say that if all the advisors were like Carly, Protect Line should receive a plethora of calls from 'word-of-mouth' recommendations! Following much frustration from other companies , in trying to get the correct policy and a fair deal , I decided to try this company through the NFU . I was , indeed , surprised to get the deal I wanted and the processing was quick .

Several lengthy 'phonecalls to ensure I was getting exactly what I was seeking.
Took brokers advice (you cannot purchase direct) and took out a life policy. Broker pushed PruProtect as they didn't want medical reports, so quicker to implement policy althought they are the most expensive!
I had bumf from broker promptly, but only emails from PruProtect. Got trust stuff ages ago, but they are in Cardiff in UK so perhaps feel accountable and want to give service unlike PruProtect themselves.
Despite several phone calls to the PruProtect South African call centre (they give the impression of being 'sorry' for the poor service, but do not follow through and sort the problem. Actions speak louder than words - perhaps the bosses should tell them?Twice they promised to send policy documents. After 3 weeks still no policy and could not register for online services (policy not issued) with a call to technical services, who during data protection discovered incorrect number on my address and was bounced to South Africa who told me it was rectified, still no policy even despite promises and 2 weeks later I cancelled my policy. Incidentally, was called yesterday by S.A call centre, but call taken by a friend as I was driving . Despite a promise to call back when I was home at 5pm, no call received, typical of the care lavished on customers by this cut price S.A. call centre.
Years ago the Pru was a household name and known for service and integrity, now they are aloof and difficult to get issued resolved. Why are they using South African call centres? Give the work to UK workers and perhaps the service levels would come back to where they should be. The current staff do not give a fig from my experience and even making a complaint means calling an 0845 telephone number and they do not care whether policy cancelled or not. RIP the Pru and what it stood for as a once shining beacon of excellence in the world of insurance.
What I particularly liked was that after I had made an enquiry and Protect Line got in touch with me, there was no hard sell from them.
I told the person who called just what I wanted and he took my details and offered me some choices based on different scenarios. Once I settled on the plan I wanted he simply went ahead and arranged everything for me.
He informed me of various "extras" but did not try to scaremonger or influence me to take them up.
This is such a refreshing change from the treatment I received from another company who I asked about life insurance.
I can honestly say that everyone I spoke to or dealt with was friendly (but not in an over the top way) and professional.
I would certainly recommend Protect Line to anyone.
