Excellent Customer Service
My order didn't turn up due to me putting accidentally putting the wrong postcode on the shipping address so I replied to my shipping confirmation to ask what happened to my parcel but no reply (the sending address isn't one that is read by proto-pic).
I then submitted a form on their website for order problems but no reply to that either!
In fact there was a reply that ended up in my spam folder!
Then they phoned me up and sorted everything out, they are sending out a new package free of charge.
So, lessons learned are -
Don't reply to order emails because those emails aren't read.
Check spam folder in case gmail mis-labels valid email as spam.
Put the correct postcode in when I oder something!
Thanks to proto-pic for sorting it all out, impressive customer service.

Simply perfect.
Incredibly fast dispatch and delivery. I ordered the SparkFun Inventor's Kit yesterday afternoon and it arrived this morning, well packaged and in perfect condition. And with the 10% student discount I got the deal was even better. I think I have a new favourite electronic components supplier.

Excellent service and communication!
It was my first time that I bought these electronic parts for my BSc. project and they have a wide variety of products that I am interested in. Great prices, unbelievable delivery speed!
We've used this site a lot at work for buying in components. The service is always exceptional, the prices are very reasonable, and the delivery speed is outstanding. I once ordered something at 3:30pm and it arrived the next morning at 9:00am: don't think I could beat that if I drove there myself! There catalogue is always expanding, and if you want something that isn't there they'll bend over backwards to help. One of the best sites I've ever dealt with.

Rapid despatch and a great choice at the right prices
I ordered my Arduino Uno from these guys and followed up the order after that with more stuff, so far I have bought my XRF modules, a few Xbee shields and an Arduino Fio as well.... delivery each time has been in a nice sturdy plastic box which can be reused for component storage.

A good buying experience
I ordered a couple of H-Bridge motor driver ICs from Proto-Pic after searching the major suppliers (inc. Farnell, RS, etc.). Proto-Pic were by far the most convenient (no minimum quantities, UK based) and the most reasonably priced. My order was dispatched very quickly and I received by package by post in a couple of days. Everything was perfect and I will certainly be using them again for my hobby robotics/electronics supplies.

Best service and normally lowest prices
I now buy all my prototype electronics from this company, in the past I have used several companies that come back on top of google search. However I find that proto pic is usually the best on prices. Delivery is fast and everything is shipped in plastic boxes that are handy for using in projects or storing components (a great touch).
When I ordered a board that arrived with the wrong connectors, they gave me a personal call and shipped out replacement parts at there own expense. Very helpful and happy to help over the phone.
Unless something drastically changes in service if they have the item in stock I will order from them.

One of the best online stores!
I made my first order with proto-pic a few weeks ago and since then it is where I now buy all of my electronics bits from.
The delivery is always super fast, the items are packaged fantastically and their customer service is brilliant.
I have purchased from literally hundreds of online stores but I have to say in my honest opinion, this ranks very very highly as one of the best if not, the best online experience I have had.

Very good as per usual
With the last order I had there was an issue with PayPal as I was out of the country when I placed my order. Proto-PIC called me up immediately on my mobile to let me know what was going on. Very nice of them to give me a phone call to let me know!
Only a short delay and obviously not their fault (PayPal security check!) and the goods were delivered on time in great condition as they usually are - when I am in the UK I never have a problem and the service is typically excellent over the website, email or phone.Thanks!
