After much research on the net i decided the Smiths Spacesaver plinth heater was the one for me. Radiators.co.uk were enthusisatic on the phone and so i placed the order on line. Delivery was quick and the product is very satisfactory. It heats our 12ft by 12ft kitchen really well and quicker than the radiator we removed. Radiators.co.uk it turns out is another site for BHL, which is another name for Bumford Heating - all convoluted and when you order from Radiators.co.uk you actually end up communicating with BHL BHL (or Bumford) have a reputation for being hard to deal with and I had endless emails to get a simple exchange of a radiator. They said I was wrong in my order, I thought they took down the wrong radiator order.
In any case if they were customer centric they would have just done the right thing and nor argued endlessly.
I ordered a larger than average radiator to cope with my living room and replace two old ones, and am very happy with it. All instructions were clear, the delivery info was accurate and the packaging was secure.
The Myson kickspace heaters really do kick out some heat ... we avoided having to lose another wall for a radiator using a couple of these and because these things have little fans on them we don't get any cold spots in what is a very big room.Highly recommended.
Can't believe they emailed me customer survey feedback form to fill out ! You see this is the first form of communication I've had from them since I ordered a towel rail way back at the start of November, rang them a few times to be given dates of delivery but it never happened , no offer of alternatives or even communication to say it's not available poor Poor poor! If I was to treat my customers the way they have handled me is be broke !
Order process was very easy and the delivery followed very quickly afterwards. The tracking system was excellent with the delivery slot was dead on and the driver even phone me half hour before to say when he was on time
Not sure how the system works but it does - a good internet price from a company in Yorkshire for a known brand of radiator delivered by the local branch of a major plumbers merchant in Wiltshire ten days later. Sales updates and delivery date confirmed by email so all in all a very smooth transaction.
Telephoned the company to ask delivery date told in stock so wld receive within 5 days. I placed the order paid and thought no more. I telephoned to confirm delivery date and was given a date 2 weeks away which messed up the project!!!!!!!!!!!! Suddenly it was out of stock not just with them but now the suppliers. I had telephone another company who had also sed in stock but chose these purely as cheaper. cheaper not always better.
Ordered two Myson compact large sized rads, arrived spot on time as promised the following Friday. Delivered to bedrooms as requested to the delivery depot driver. Kept informed throughout by email. Very good service and decent internet price.
Ordered some radiators on a Tuesday, on the Saturday received an email from them stating they had made an error on the pricing and that they would need to charge over double the website price. Obviously told them i didnt want them as they were now not the cheapest. Then noticed they charged my card on the Tuesday. Still no refund over a week later
