No problem with the products (which were supplied by PTS anyway), but the customer service is rotten. (This seems to be the consensus of opinion on here!) They gave out my email address to several third parties (including this site!) without the courtesy of asking my permission. Not only that, but they totally ignored my request that they stop passing on my details without my permission. This is not the way to establish good relationships with customers. I won't be buying again from a company which treats its customers' data with such disprespect.
Some additional info: Although they totally failed to respond to my requests for them to stop passing on my details without permission, they managed to complain to TrustPilot about this review within about half an hour!
I ordered a Myson Kickspace 800 and was quoted a delivery date two weeks ahead. The day before the delivery was due I had an email to say that the delivery was now delayed a further 3 days. It didn't arrive. Later I was informed that it had gone to a company in Cardiff and a phone number given. I rang the number and they didn't know anything about, it eventually turned out they had give me the number of a different branch. After more phone calls, eventually Radiators.co.uk gave me another delivery date and the item arrived nearly a month after the order, delivered by yet a different plumbing supplies company. In summary: Why does BHL operate under so many different company names? Why no tracking information? Why is it so unclear that the delivery chain involves more than one other company?
The item was a good price, is installed and works well, but phew....
After much research on the net i decided the Smiths Spacesaver plinth heater was the one for me. Radiators.co.uk were enthusisatic on the phone and so i placed the order on line. Delivery was quick and the product is very satisfactory. It heats our 12ft by 12ft kitchen really well and quicker than the radiator we removed. Radiators.co.uk it turns out is another site for BHL, which is another name for Bumford Heating - all convoluted and when you order from Radiators.co.uk you actually end up communicating with BHL BHL (or Bumford) have a reputation for being hard to deal with and I had endless emails to get a simple exchange of a radiator. They said I was wrong in my order, I thought they took down the wrong radiator order.
In any case if they were customer centric they would have just done the right thing and nor argued endlessly.
I ordered a larger than average radiator to cope with my living room and replace two old ones, and am very happy with it. All instructions were clear, the delivery info was accurate and the packaging was secure.
The Myson kickspace heaters really do kick out some heat ... we avoided having to lose another wall for a radiator using a couple of these and because these things have little fans on them we don't get any cold spots in what is a very big room.Highly recommended.
Can't believe they emailed me customer survey feedback form to fill out ! You see this is the first form of communication I've had from them since I ordered a towel rail way back at the start of November, rang them a few times to be given dates of delivery but it never happened , no offer of alternatives or even communication to say it's not available poor Poor poor! If I was to treat my customers the way they have handled me is be broke !
Order process was very easy and the delivery followed very quickly afterwards. The tracking system was excellent with the delivery slot was dead on and the driver even phone me half hour before to say when he was on time
