a real nice bunch of normal people supplying some really nice furniture at what i investigated was at a knock down price

had my furniture delivered and remembered a chat i had with one of the rattan warehouse guys Dan who was saying it seems only the moaners tend to want to leave reviews and it was a lot harder for the customers who had been satisfied to be bothered to leave reviews,we both agreed it was a 'british thing' to just knock something. as i also run a fishing tackle website i could totally see where these guys are coming from. so easy to knuckle down and moan about something but when it all goes well and you are well pleased, well you really cant be bothered to leave a review!! and looking at their reviews it is the same old thing,very petty 1 stars that just really want to hurt the website rather than give genuine feedback!
so i thought about this and can add a genuine review of a real nice bunch of normal people supplying some really nice furniture at what i investigated was at a knock down price and getting it to me as simply and quickly as they could.
you do the research when spending £800 and i am glad i went with dan and the rattan team

the customer care provided when I was buying my table was second to none and the quality of the table and chairs is excellent.

my friend lauren bought a corner set from the website and i saw it a couple of weeks when we had some decent weather!! really liked it so ordered the 8 savannah with a 2.0mtr rectangular table
a lovely eight seater garden table and chairs which I am delighted with,the customer care provided when I was buying my table was second to none and the quality of the table and chairs is excellent.
Would strongly recommend rattan warehouse and I know I will be using them again in the future.
i really think recommendation works as i now know 2 other people who are looking to make a purchase..

Overall, we would recommend this company for both quality and efficient service.

Having bought some teak loungers before from rattans sister site teakwarehouse and being happy with them we decided to go for the large cube set
We were very pleased with the quality of the dining table and chairs and the efficiency with which it was delivered. As we couldn't get to a showroom to see the furniture you always have that worry about the furniture but photos on the site are just what arrives . drivers were very obliging. Overall, we would recommend this company for both quality and efficient service.

Just to add we have had the set now for over 2 months and have got to say how well it has stayed and looks brand new and we have had a few bar be ques on it already, really enjoying it and have to say the cube design really does work for us, we have now bought a storage box to match which is being delivered on monday

Delivery was swift and hassle free, emailed by office and driver called ahead as discussed
quality is easily comparable to sets we viewed in garden centres at literally half the price...i just kept coming back to the rattan warehouse website, and glad i did!!
The Furniture was exactly as displayed on website and loved and enjoyed by the whole family and friends!
Will recommend to friends and family now without any hesitation

Had our set delivered yesterday morning..early!! opened up everything and put table out this morning and very good quality. we ordered it 2 weeks ago and was told via email of date and dan phoned us on the day before to confirm,all very simply efficient and no nonsense.
driver helpful and again top marks for the quality, good construction, nice cushions etc and the extra bonus was that this set compared to the others we looked at was £250 less
all good!

Customer Service needs improving

Ordered 6 seated cube set with parasol. Took day off of work to await delivery and found out via email on the day of delivery that thier delivery person called in sick. This is concerning that they apparently only have one delivery person and equally did not have the decency to contact me via a phone call. When the the delivery showed up a day later it was missing the parasol which I was promised would be delivered the following Tuesday (three day time). Four weeks later and multiple phone calls / messages left via email and phone still awaiting parasol.
UPDATE: after posting this review Customer Service sprung into life. Finally received outstanding item. With promise of an additional parasol being sent due to slow delivery of aforementioned item.
Furniture might be nice but the customer service is lacking.

Dont be concerned we have 7 Vans on the road,not one, we have to with how many orders we are delivering daily.Delivered the next day as promised. Sprung into life after review? the parasol was collected 5 days before review....Got to admit Hermes couriers took 9 days from collection to deliver Parasol, that must be a courier record!! when we paid for a 2 day service!!perhaps they should get 3 stars as well!!
Anyway at least a bit on the review about the actual product, surely the most important part of the purchase?! NICE FURNITURE,cant argue against that!

I purchase a Manhattan Rectangular Table Set from these guys. It’s a Fantastic product, very fast delivery and all-round great value for money. Unlike the BBQ I am still waiting from a Major high street supplier Arh. Would highly recommend buying from them. Thank you rattanwarehouse

i am going to tell everyone i know to speak to these boys as you will not go wrong when you want a superb set of garden furniture

Very impressed, the furniture we ordered was first class, well made and much better quality than others we had seen in many top furniture stores and certainly at a very competitive price. Service was also spot on from day one to delivery.

Customer service missing!

After placing an order was informed payment can only be bank transfer or cash on delivery, due to the amount of the order I wasn't comfortable to do this having never used this company before.

Rather than advising me payment was these two options only <Personal data removed> at Rattan Warehouse decided to send a rude email instead.

All in all rather disappointing as I would prefer to work directly with a company than follow <external link removed>.

I would like to add that <Personal data removed> at Rattan Warehouse has just sent me another rude email and reported my review asking for it to be removed. Surely reviews are supposed to be honest, positive and negative. If customers only get to see the positive comments it isn't a review?

You have never been a customer nor have ever bought anything from us so know nothing of our 'customer service' for all we know you are from another company. How you are allowed to leave a review without showing any proof of purchase is beyond me, makes a complete mockery of the review system...

like most website purchases you do a lot of research into the product especially when you are spending over £1200 and after looking through i called a couple and by far the most no nonsense, common sense and knowledge of the product was from rattan warehouse, all specs straight to hand,designs explained and when rattan warehouse driver arrived he couldnt have been more helpful and most importantly the furniture was as exactly described, beautiful deep rich brown with the black fleck giving that classy touch and build as explained, light but very solid and the savannah chairs were very comfortable.
Not that you go out to look for flaws BUT RATTAN WAREHOUSE FROM START TO FINISH ARE FLAWLESS!!
The furniture was exceptional, the price was exceptional and the customer service was exceptional.many thanks !!

exactly as the web site photos showed..Top Marks!

After I ordered this product I immediately received an email from rattan warehouse with more info on the product quickly followed by an email with all my delivery dates/timings and payment options,very effiecient. .Rattan warehouse were as good as their word and the product arrived when they said it would.

The set comes really well packaged in one large box. There seems to be no chance of the pro...duct being damaged as it is packaged so well. One thing to note is the box is really large, and the driver couldnt be more obliging opening the box on your drive and taking it through to the garden piece by piece, really good service.
the Havannah cube set i ordered was exactly as the web site photos showed so top marks there also
all in all exceptional service twinned with an exceptional product, oh and £100 cheaper for the same thing everywhere else!

I purchased a Havannah 12 seater Cube set from Rattan warehouse and I certainly made the right decision. Not only were they the cheapest by far for my item, but the delivery time was amazing, and was free! The website is extremely easy to navigate around and the range of products is fantastic. I bought a set of loungers from them last year, which was one of the reasons for my deciding to buy from them again when I needed a new set for the garden.
I can't recommend them enough.
From start to finish the web experience was very simple and as last year the delivery was prompt and driver polite and took through all the furniture.
One last thing about the product, i had looked at a few cube sets around both online and in garden centres and can honestly say the one i had delivered from rattan warehouse was far superior to build quality and looks then all i had seen

We found the garden set very easy to put together, It looks beautiful on my decking I am so pleased with it. I have also purchased the XL cover for it and parasol, which fits perfect. Would definitely recommend to others.

i had looked at over 4 sites before deciding on rattan warehouse. the nice layout and excellent photos probably persued me. i then spoke to a really helpful chap on the phone there who really knew his stuff and after picking his brain! i decided on buying all three sets, sofa,lounger and dining!! the fact he knew all the technial and also the real knowledge of the furniture really helped reassure me
delivered by a really helpful driver who couldnt do enough.This really helps when you a have a pleasant helpful driver who goes that extra mile
the corner sofa set is already out and in the snow!! and the loungers and savannah oval 8 seater are in the garage...what absolute great quality the furniture and cushions is and although great photos furniture is better when you see it for real....great website great helpful staff and great quality furniture , i reckon i saved over £600....10/10 rattan warehouse!!

By far The best choice I have made in buying the rattan garden furniture

I absolutely love my new garden furniture. The cream
cushions are really as good as the guy i spoke to and done the water test and it did indeed 'bead' off of the cushion!they stand out against the lovly coloured dark browny rattan. Its so comfortable as well, good choice to go for, thanks for recomending the manhattans Mark! You have the comfort of a living room but bringing it outdoors into the garden. Always a bit of a worry when buying online but was helped by the staff and also like the photos on the site, which were nice and simple as i think was the layout of the website. Its the best choice I have made in buying the furniture. Can't wait for the summer!

excellent quality products

My wife ordered a set of garden rattan furniture online from rattan warehouse and it was exactly as shown on site,whilst she was on the site i looked at their 'sister' site teakwarehouse and we ordered a 1.5 lady emily solid teak bench it was delivered on time and when she phoned with a few questions was answered by a very helpful person. The teak bench was also as described on the site and exactly the same as the photo,nice and thick timber and heavy
all in all both sites have given us two quality products as described and photoed on the websites,just what you need from websites,good concise description,helpful staff and overall excellent quality products, will shop on both sites again

If all website companies provided this standard of excellence with product,service and customer care all of the highest standard there would be no worries about web companies. Unfortunately such an experience is rare, but full marks to Rattan warehouse, the rattan Garden Furniture - 12 out of 10. They really did come up with 'what it says on the tin'. A Brilliant Shopping Experience from Start to Finish

it is always difficult buying furniture On-line without first being able to see and touch the product, however the clear description on the website and simple returns policy gave me the confidence to go ahead with the purchase in the knowledge that if it wasn't right I could return it with ease.
I was given a date for delivery at the time the or...der was placed and this was the date the Manhattan set was received.
I had occasion to check a couple of things by email and my enquiries were dealt with promptly and to my entire satisfaction.
When it came to delivery itself, I was given a timeslot and despite the bad weather, it turned up on time. The delivery team were courteous and helpful, going that extra mile to ensure the set was placed exactly where I wanted it.
excellently priced as well, their set up as importers getting their stock directly from the far east does indeed cut the price down and as they wholesale, also going direct is always going to get you a good deal!!
Overall a brilliant experience and I will certainly look to buy from Rattan warehouse again - very happy to recommend

It was a pleasure to visit the website, very easy to navigate and some nice photos and all the staff from the sales people to the delivery men were excellent as they should be used as a template on positive shopping they were always willing to do what was easier for me and nothing was to much trouble for them I have told all my family and friends how great they were.

I ordered a pair of the rattan loungers for my holiday home, so required a specific day for delivery.
Mark was extremely helpful and they arrived on the day promised.
I had a set from another company several years ago and this set was better looking, better quality and a much better price.

Perfect in every way :-)

I placed my order earlier this week and asked if it was possible if it could be delivered by the weekend as i have a family gathering.
I was told this would be ok and my 12 seater cube was delivered earlier this morning the driver was so helpful and lovely brought the box into my back garden and made it clear it was no trouble for him.
Very happy with the quality of the furniture

Super super set delivered in time for party tomorrow!

Ordered yesterday a savannah 1.5 set and asked the question. NEED for the weekend! Well Mark said he had a van in the area and earlier this morning the set dually arrived. Absilutely super stuff. Ready and set up now and hope the sun shines tomorrow!
Got to say how impressed I was with the whole set up quality of the furniture. Done my homework and first site I visited couldn't deliver for 2 weeks so really pleased. Least I can do is leave a review of what was an excellent all round service. Thanks again.

Brilliant Service and Superb Furniture delivered within 4 Days!

Spoke to Dan in the warehouse last Saturday and asked about the furniture in the sale,did it match,were the cushions washable etc, all stuff you cant really see on the net. he answered it all very proffesionally so i went ahead with the order of a sofa set and dining set.
took delivery yesterday,4 days later! and totally blown away by the quality of the items, the corner sofa was as dan suggested totally built and put in place and the round table manhattan set was also ready to go, chairs just unwrapped and table top just had to be secured to base,even my husband can do that!!
got to say i was worried that cushions might be a bit thin but again really really nice and thick and all zipped as dan said so can wash, they are even showerproof so thats a bonus as we do tend to leave them out sometimes
ray the driver was very helpful and even took the cardboard away after i made him a coffee!!
overall from start to finish i have to say what a superb service and when spending over £1500 on a website you really need to be assured which i was by dan and ray from rattan warehouse.
I will be adding the loungers to my sets as dan has said they are also fully assembled and ready to go out
Furniture is now all out and looking very nice,just need that late summer that ray promised!!!

Beware RattanWarehouse sub-standard goods with absolutely no comeback, cash on delivery should have been sufficient warning.

I can only agree and add to the comments below about arrogance and total lack of customer commitment and support.

What a tale, goods arrived 12th June and comments were made as to the received quality and additional items were promised for later replacement by next appropriate delivery.

£680 was due to be paid and a lesser payment of £600 was suggested by the driver and accepted, with an offer of £30 discount when parts arrived, thus leaving £50 balance to pay.

I telephoned to confirm within a few days and was told by [Name] that we had already been given an £80 discount (started to ring some warning bells) and that the order was completed and that nothing would follow !!

This was not as agreed and on query I was told that the driver had suggested back to the office that we were not a suitable customer for their goods and that the goods should probably have never been left with us !!

I wish, as I kind of agree with that statement !!

[Name] said that they would arrange collection (implying but not stating anything about any reimbursement of paid monies) but that's become irrelevant as, needless to say, we have heard absolutely nothing more about this proposed collection.

I feel sure that the words used by [Name] maybe implied that I needed to confirm this in writing to RattanWarehouse which, to be fair I did not do, so they have maybe retained this as a let-out for any future query !! But I am equally sure that no action was going to be taken anyway by RattanWarehouse.

Meantime I had sent an email with a list of defects and photos of same, to which I received the following comment from [Name]:

Whilst ambiguous and unclear, this I believe has to be understood as stating that the faults were too trivial to show and report.

What happened to 'continuous improvement.'

However I can state that this is not so, although the issues would be relatively simple to correct during production and, as I spend around 1 month every year in China as a supplier, in my experience they are proud people and will quickly improve if they are treated correctly and fed the correct information, so this again, in my opinion, is a very negative sign against the Company RattanWarehouse.

There is more but I just want to highlight to all to be very careful when receiving goods from RattanWarehouse.

Brilliant product, we ordered the Savannah table and 6 chairs and are delighted with them.
A mention to Mark, very very helpful and he managed to have the furniture delivered ahead of schedule in order that we had it before visitors arrived.
I felt I could trust them, they were contactable by phone, not just an answerphone, and they delivered a fantastic product when they said they would deliver it - would recommend to anyone..

Great customer service

bought the 6-12 seat havannah cube set. We had to wait a week longer than estimated due to RW discovering damage to the original set before it was sent. Mark kept me informed of the situation via email. No waiting on the telephone in a queue or having to explain things to 5 different people. New set arrived as scheduled and looks great. Lots of retailers could learn a lot about customer service from these guys i.e. Just keep people informed! Thanks to Mark and the team. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Delays in delivery but fantastic product.

We ordered the Manhattan set in February from these guys after reading lots & lots of reviews and a very good price. Unfortunately we were 'that order' to which we had a string of issues regarding the delivery which resulted in many delays and the delivery arriving 3 weeks late (only received the table on Monday 2 April). We did get communications from them after a lot of chasing but did feel we had to chase more than we should have needed to. However the quality of the set is better than I expected and at a super price. A bit of a bumpy ride to get it but well worth it!!
