Arrived at LPA airport and within a few minutes on the way to resort of Maspalomas in a private car, return perfect, at the exact time the driver arrived and zoomed us back to the airport. will certainly use again
I have used this service twice, at Dubrovnik and Rome. In both cases the drivers were at the airport on time. The Dubrovnik driver, whose car was immaculate and very comfortable, spoke fluent English and was a very interesting young man. Neither Roman driver spoke much English at all. The car which took us to our Roman hotel was a clapped out people carrier (we had to stop to check tyres at one stage), although the car for the return journey was much better. In the case of Rome I had made an amendment to our booking which had not been registered by the taxi company., which did not matter too much as I was required to call the company 24 hours before our return and a car was available when we wanted it.

Our instructions were easy to follow and the taxi transfer was waiting for us when we arrived in our arrival airport for Lanzarote. The driver was very helpful assisted us with luggage and my mother was in a wheelchair and even assisted her out of the wheelchair onto the bus.
The transfer back early in the morning I may add 4.20am was 10 mins early again very helpful with assistance and informed me where to get wheelchair from in Lanzarote airport.
Arrived Alicante airport on the 6th Dec. Coach departed within 20 mins. Was the 3rd drop-off in Benidorm. Getting the return time a week later was dead easy with the android app. Coach arrived on time. Have used Resorthoppa numerous times and have always found them OK.
On pick up, we waited over an hour to leave the airport and go to our hotel, although the driver was friendly enough and kept us updated. On DEPARTURE- was using the "resorthoppa app" pick up time kept saying N/A. So called up the next day (after eventually getting through to the number) and was told our pick up time. We stood in our hotel lobby 15 minutes early as requested. Waited 1 hour. NO SHOW- called the "emergency" number, about 15-20 times within this hour, no answer! So we had to pay 40 euros for a cab (even though we already paid for our transfer with resort hoppa.) and be late to the airport. Funnily enough the "app" now works on the day I return, and says a complete different time to the one they said to me! PLEASE don't waste your time or money, it will ruin your holiday. If they don't reply to my emails (which I expect they won't due to the lack of customer service) I will be taking them to a small claims court. Hopefully they will sort themselves out! Absolutely fuming
Ordered a shuttle from Praia da rocha to airport, stated that we had a wheel chair with us. My disabled son and myself boarded, my other son put our 4 pieces of luggage in the back and my husband came out with wheelchair, when the driver saw the wheel chair he said it would not fit in, he rang the office who said they was no other bus in the area. He then proceeded to throw our luggage off the bus onto the pavement, only for the wonderful staff of the Algarve Casino Hotel who had witnessed this situation and sent for a taxi which cost €71 we could have missed our flight. After 6 weeks of emailing Resorthoppa looking for receipts and proof of advising of the wheel chair in triple and quadrupple times, we got our taxi refund, but they still would not refund €37 for bus that we never got on. We also pointed out to them that if we had 4 standard cases the bus would not have been able to take us.
Used this company for a family holiday. They are useless. Don't provide confirmation emails. When they do they will turn up at a different time and no service is provided. Contacting their 'customer care' is a waste of time as they don't answer the phone and they take weeks to reply to emails. They take your money and run (actually they don't show up) My advise is to use a local taxi service which can be booked through hotel reception. Much better value and far less likely to let you down.
What can I say? The Resort Hoppa.co aftercare service was just excellent. It made me feel better and has restored my confidence. I would book again as I realise they are the agent and the drivers they use are merely hired by them in foreign countries. The level of Service I received on arrival was far from what I expected and I was let down. But the follow up made the difference, It wasn't the refund but the time and effort and the care they took to investigate the matter. Thank you!
Return transfer in Mallorca didn't turn up but after persistent emails to resorthoppa customer services we were given a refund for the taxi fare we had to pay for to get to the airport on time. Not sure what the story would be if we had missed our flight. I think it's important people realise Resorthoppa are an agency for transfer companies so its not entirely their fault if a company is bad, they obviously do need to scrap some in Mallorca altogether if they don't sort things out though.
We followed the procedure of confirming our pickup times etc. Everything was confirmed, we had the pickup time of 12.25. Well 12.25 came and went. Got to 1.15 and we started panicking, tried to call the "emergency contact number" over 20 times and it just had an announcement in Spanish on the other end. We got a Spanish speaker to help us and we found out the so called emergency number was just a mobile phone turned off. It was like this all day. We tried every other number that funnily enough stopped working, even though it was fine the day before when we used it to confirm our pickup times. It was like the transfer supplier had decided to just take a day off and turn off all their phones.
Customer service has been good since we sent in a complaint, shame that the transfer company in Mallorca is unreliable and the actual service wasn't provided.
After a very shoddy experience (earlier in the trustpilot reviews) I can honestly say that Mollie in Customer Service has restored my faith. She was very quick in responding to me and effective with her dealings in relation to my complaint. I think trustpilot and social media can be very damaging aswell as very positive to businesses and I believe that ResortHoppa have realised this and in my experience, they are trying to put things right. Unfortunately they are in the Service Industry and are sometime paying the price for the wrong doings of their supplier and I'd imagine this is something they are working on. Its how you deal with the problem that means more to me. I only hope that ResortHoppa will invest money in their customer service people assisting you whilst you are overseas suffering the problem rather than have to deal with it on your return. Well done and thank you Mollie for your efforts.
We accidentially booked the wrong date and noticed this within 10 minutes of booking. In line with their T's & C's we contacted them and asked them to amend the booking. Despite chasing this 3 or 4 times our emails were went unanswered, we eventially phoned them for them to say there was nothing they could do other than make a formal complaint. We made the formal complaint and this too was ignored, we only got a response when I took to twitter! The company told us someone would contact us (which took over a week and me to chase again) and they eventially got a refund (as had to rebook).
We thought that was the end of it... when we were away we were unable to contact the company who were meant to be taking us back to the airport so contacted Resorthoppa asking them to assist us (we sent the email to the main admin team and the person who handled the original complaint to ensure it was picked up. Unsuprisingly, given the above, no one responded to us. We managed to get the return transfer issue resolved on our own. I had an email from the individual who dealt with the original complaint after we got, saying the email had gone into her junk inbox and nothing from the admin team. We also tried the number they have on their website for when you are away - the number was not recognised!
I have used Resorthoppa in the past and found them to be good, but I think you find the merit of a company when something goes wrong and I would not want to risk being stuck in a foreign country relying on them if it went wrong again!
I have used resorthoppa four times. And they were brilliant. They weren't late, the left on time and didn't take too long to get to my destination. I would advise that you choose the regular option as the one time i chose the speedy shuttle, it actually took longer than the regular one. Other than this, they are brilliant, reliable and comfortable :)
Use resort hoppa regularly. Just returned from Gran Canaria with my husband and 3 young children. The coach was waiting for us on arrival and it was very clear where we had to go. We had to wait awile for other people to arrive which is my only critisism of the experience. The coach was spot on time picking us up from the hotel. The drivers were very nice and helped with our luggage. Would definetly recommend.
Not happy with these people at all.On arrival we were met at the airport and all looked well but was asked departure date.When I said it needed to be changed I was told to do it at my accommodation during my stay.What a joke!!The hotel reception phoned time and time again to the number we were told to call with no luck.Finally told - too late, to call another number by which time I was told it was too late and I would not get a transfer now.Even though I was a single woman with three children the man in Alicante couldnt of cared less!Had to pay again for the hotel to arrange it.
