I ordered an aquael fish tank set up which was promptly sent and very well packed,however the heater supplied is not up to the job and is clearly marked as being for a smaller fish tank. I contacted rocket about this but they do not seem interested in correcting the mistake.With a bit more customer after care they could have got full marks.
Ordered a Jewel 450 Fish tank over the internet. I rang to ask a few questions in advance all were answered by a very helpful and friendly person over the phone. Some of the smaller free items arrived the next day, the rest arrived on time via Longs of Leeds who rang the day before to arrange a convenient time to deliver. The driver was polite and friendly and helped offload the tank, stones and cabinet right into my front room.
I rang up the same day with a few questions, notably did I have to wash the gravel which was not obvious again friendly and helpful service advising me to and how to wash them.
I bought the Juwel Korall 60 Goldfish Aquarium as an upgrade for my daughter. Delivery was very prompt (2 working days) and the on-line process for changing the delivery date was very simple. I received an email at 9.15am on the day of delivery notifying me of the 1 hour delivery slot I was allocated for that day. The tank was well packaged and all was intact. The tank was easy to set up, the filter seems to be very powerful, so hopefully we shouldn't need to do too much cleaning. The light is very bright and provides good viewing of the complete tank. All in all a good buy, cheaper than anywhere else I could find online. I now have a happy daughter and happy fish!
Order received in good time, but supplied plastered with "buy one, get one free" stickers. When I supplied picture of packaging with stickers (and my order despatch note) and asked about offer, I was told " it's only valid for retailers, I.e. shops". I though you guys were retailers. For the fact you are not that much cheaper and the fact you scammed me out of a free lamp, why chance upsetting a possible regular customer? All for £20? Such a shame that you think you can screw the normal person, or as we like to be called "the customer".
Were very good with keeping me up to date with where my order was and when it would be delievered. Delievery was when it said it would be. I had no problems finding what i wanted on the web size and thank goodnes they had what i needed because i couldnt find it my going on amazon or ebay like i would have normally done. While i was browsing these other sites it was recommended to try this one and i am so grateful as i had just brought some new fish for my tank and they didnt have any light and being tropical fish they really need it so i wa able to order what i needed and it came on a tuesday when i had ordered it on a sunday night.
Product was cheapest I could find online ordered one day delivered next! Was very very well packef they must go through a ton of bubble wrap however glad of that after I sern the delivery man chuck lots of boxes about to get to mine and then was quite rough handling my box. Only problem was heater supplied as part of pack was a 75w which isnt suitable for tank they say thats supplier problem and havr agreed to exchange hopefully get that soon....

I ordered a Viviarum, which I believe is faulty, however your company suggest no in fact insisted that I had assembled it incorrectly................ Very reluctant to change item overall would not recommend this company to anyone will never do any further business with you think your company is PANTS
Ordered a Rio 240 Lite Unit for my Tank and discovered after it was delivered that I have in fact got a Rio 180 tank. On contacting the company a very friendly and helpful member of staff immediately said no problem I could have a refund on the first order ( which was entirely my fault ) and they would send out the replacement as soon as they received the second order. As it was over Christmas I was expecting delivery on the 13th of January but was delighted ( As were my fish ) that the unit arrived on the 4th January. In this day and age of slap happy service it is so refreshing to find a company that obviously care about customer service. I ordered a new vivarium and the item arrived very quickly and was packaged really well, the communication beforehand re the items arrival was excellent and I will and have recommended my reptile keeping friends to visit this site.
Ordered 2 items the first to arrive was the Juwel 60 tank. Extremely well wrapped and protected by yards of bubble wrap and cardboard, no cracks or breaks in the glass. The second item which was marked on the advice note as to follow. Would of been helpful if they had said when it was to follow. I telephoned Rocket to find out if it had been dispatched only to get the answerphone telling me they had closed for Christmas. This left me wandering if I should go to the local pet shop to purchase off the shelf as it was the New Aquarium start up kit. The next day however I had the second delivery and so panic over. Very good price and all items delivered within 3 days I wiil use them again.
I purchased a Reef One Biorb intelligent led light to replace my existing one that no longer worked. Upon receipt of the light it failed to work as advertised on the website and detailed in the supplied instruction manual. I initially had good communication with Rocket Aquatics and they suggested sending it back if I was unhappy which I did. Upon receiving the return I was informed by Rocket Aquatics that they had spoken to Reef One and the specification of the product had changed, you could no longer select from an assortment of day/light options. They admitted they would have to change the description provided on their website. They agreed to provide a refund but minus the postage costs incurred by me for returning the product which was not as advertised. I have pointed out that under the distance selling regulations they have to pay for the return of goods if they fail to comply with the contract but since this email they have stopped all correspondence with myself.
Although the sum involved is not large it is the principle and although I have used Rocket Aquatics in the past, even recommending them to others, I won't be doing so again based on the outcome of my latest purchase.
I recently aquired a Curly Hair Tarantula but needed a new terrarium, I searched ebay and other sites, I came accross Rocket Aquatics & wow, exactly what I was looking for & cheaper than I could get on ebay & other visited sites for the same item, I placed my order and within a couple of days it was here, extremely well packaged. I would have no hesitation in recommending Rocket Aquatics, I have put them in my favourites as I will definately be using them again. Fantastic products at realistic prices & excellent service.
Bought F 'r F tank from Rocket 7 years ago. Lighting/electrics failed within the one year guarantee so complete top unit was replaced free of charge. 12v pump wires took 7 years to corrode away, so was pleased a replacement was still available, although a little pricy! Nice website, swift service, fish are having fun again!
A well laid out website made what I wanted easy to find, and I really like the fact that if a product is not in stock it won't be displayed. The price was slightly less than I found elsewhere, and my goods arrived within a few days. Very happy with this company, and would definitely recommend them to others.
