There are many things about rosehosting that I really appreciate, but one key factor that always amazes me is the customer/technical support they offer. If you're new to hosting, VPS, or anything to do with servers, don't be afraid. They have your back. They are very patient, very knowledgable, and will guide you through everything, step by step, not to mention the blazing fast response time. Tickets are almost always answered within 20 minutes, so you get the help you need as soon as possible. Aside from the amazing customer service, they freely migrate your website to your new server, they fix the problems you point out, and do their utmost best to get everything in tip-top shape. They have over 12 years of history, so they are a very serious hosting company. I highly recommend them because they really will do everything they can to help you and fix the problems you encounter.
Performance wise, I noticed that my website is a lot faster after I started to host with them. My load time used to be around 3.5 seconds, which dropped to 700ms (tested using pingdom tools). Everything is running very smoothly.
Overall, I highly recommend them to anyone. They also have a 30 day money back policy, so you can try it without worry, but there really is no reason to leave them, because so far, they have been an excellent host to me, and I am sure to everyone who joins them.
The single most important factor regarding my voluntary comments about RoseHosting is: their chat support is outstanding! It has been almost a year since I signed up for a VPS server with RoseHosting and from the beginning all the problems I encountered were quickly resolved through the chat support. They are knowledgeable, pleasant, quick to attend and extremely good at resolving the problems. I've tried several other companies over the last 10 years, none come close to the efficiency of their support. I've had some issues, probably due to my lack of familiarity with the ever changing technologies, everytime these problems were looked into and resolved in matter of minutes, on the spot over the chat. Hard to get better service than that from RoseHosting!
I've had a 'Silver Virtual Server' package with Rose Hosting for over seven years now and it's been running almost 100% of that time. Whenever I have had a problem with my hosting, it has nearly always been my own fault as you are expected to configure and update your hosting yourself with a VPS package (that's kind of the point of purchasing this type of hosting).
On the rare occassion where I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure out why my Linux distribution isn't playing ball, the technical support offered through the online chat system has always been second to none. The platform gets better and better year on year and it's now possible to reinstall your Linux server through the user control panel. I've not had any problems whatsoever as a UK client and find that the online support is available at accessible times of the day.
My only minor gripe is that you sometimes have to prod the online technical support to have your account updated to the latest specifications. For instance, my server is still 10-20GB where I see now that the Silver package should offer 30GB. However, this seems to be the norm across hosting providers, and with a polite query on the technical support chat I know my instance will easily be updated to the current product offering. I'm left only to thank Rose Hosting for being an excellent service provider for so many years.
