I have been very pleased with the excellent service from the SAA . During the last few months I have noticed that Delivery has taken longer sometimes leaving me to source materials elsewhere, That's my only grump with your Excellent service to date and will endeaver to keep supporting you.
I have been a regular member of the S.A.A. for the last couple of years, i cannot fault the service 5*+ not one thing missing, no returns they even phoned me up with my last order and saved me money. I cannot praise the service and staff for all the hard work they do to make my shopping experience great. Thank you all.
I was one of the first group of people to join the SAA (Society for Amateur Artists) but due to work commitments didn't continue. I must say that my wife and I rejoined The SAA (Society for All Artists) simply to take advantage of their Insurance package, after an incident at the end of one of our annual Art Group Exhibitions. After the incident the group were told that they would NOT be covered by the venue's Insurance! Hence the reason for not only ourselves, but also now The Art Group joining The SAA. Not only have we found the Insurance cover of great benefit, but we now know about the wealth of other products under the umbrella of The SAA The service and help is a phone call away, various good quality products for sale in the brochure and most of all the very competitive cost and the ordering is made easy.
A comprehensive variety of materials - fast delivery - helpful staff if you need to ring for advice. I can see that if you are in need of 'education' on art there is all you would need to help you advance.
The only thing I would say is that it would be helpful if the on-line ordering would keep anything in your 'basket' for several visits to do one order instead of having to do it all in one sitting. It would probably bring more orders in to you. If you are interrupted part way through your order and have to close your computer you have to start all over again. It would improve things greatly if all in your basket remained there until you place the order -- as happens with Amazon!!
I find the service is always excellent and the range of products is great too. I would recommend the SAA home shopping to everyone and especially encourage folk to join the SAA. I have been a member almost since it started and .
After being introduced to the website, I haven't bought art supplies anywhere else. I always find what I want and the choice is comprehensive. If you become a member, there is no postage to pay either. The only slight problem is the delivery is quite slow, so you have to think ahead a week if you are running out of anything. I have found this with every order. All in all quite a good company.
I was very happy with the service that was provided by the SAA one of the products was discontinued I was contacted by phone to be informed of this. My order was delivered quickly and everything present. I have no complaints and would recommend this company for all your art needs. There are plenty of perks when you become a member also.
The service has been poor in recent months but this seems to have improved with a change in courier. The security has also improvered having had my card compromised twice via the SAA web page. The inconvenience was unacceptable, and I nearly decided to not renew my membership. I know some others who were the same situation with their cards also being compromised that have not used the SAA again.
You can always rely on the SAA to deliver your order as quickly as possible - most of my orders have arrived the next day, and the reviews from other members are very helpful when choosing new products to try.
Good value for money and price matching is a bonus for members of the SAA especially with the free postage. The bonus points with each purchase and the free DVD for valued customers makes the purchases even more of a bargain price.
I noticed the last three orders I keep getting points, however when I odered the next time it doesnt give me the option of retrieving them, I checked on my acc. info.It says I have no points and I should have.This is dissappointing.On the other hand the service is good,the staff are very pleasant, the prices are decent if you are a member and the magazine can be inspiring.
I have recently joined and feel that SAA will be an asset to my efforts. I like the magazine and my two orders have been quick and easy - and not paying package and postage is a bonus. I have booked for the exhibition and hope to enjoy the day.
After dealing with the SAA for many I have found the company very reliable and efficient with regards to buying and posting art materials. As a PA I have used the paint magazine as a learning tool with examples of other artist work in my lessons, and it has also enables me to to encourage the learners to join the SAA because of the fringe benefits such as free postage and bonus points. In the last year I have been fortunate to have been over to Newark where the SAA is based where I did a Web Shoot. I also later on that year went over to Newark where I produced a watercolour painting in 3 stages which is going to be published into a book later on this year. I can strongly recommend the company as it is constantly trying to encourage people to learn new skills and to promote art.
The SAA has everything, and I mean everything you need to learn, improve and develop your artist skills. I honestly don't know where I would be without them. They are a 'one-stop' art supplier who's prices I have not been able to beat so far. They deliver really quickly - I can order on Sunday and receive all my goods by Tuesday. Coupled with the Painting and Drawing channel and their own SAA Facebook page, I have all the help and encouragement that any college could possibly give me, even if I could afford the time and fee expenses. I have got over 250 episodes recorded and refer to them for advise, techniques and even good company!!! I L O V E the SAA. XXXX
The web site was down at the time but the ordering over the phone was very helpful and delivery quicker than I could imagine. Unfortunately one of my glass frames was damaged upon receipt but was replaced with no argument and in record time. Most impressed all round.
