Treated as a Valued Customer and with Respect

I phoned Oliver to seek some advice following a recent ChargeBack Transaction . I was given a full explanation of the Fraud Scoring system and ideas how to prevent repeat occurrences .
Time was not an issue for Oliver , and I have left the conversation feeling positive , and I really appreciated his professional way in dealing with my requests.

Poor Customer Services

I am surprised at the largely positive feedback from the other reviews as my experience with Sage Pay Customer Services has been poor. No-one from the Customer Complaints Team has ever phoned me back, despite several promises to do so, yet I must assume that they have phones and the ability to use them as every time I phone their 0845 number I am told that all members of the team are too busy on other calls to speak to me. On average it takes about 15 minutes to establish this.

I have been told on three separate occasions that someone would definitely phone me back by the end of the day, so I have waited in and no-one has phoned. Twice instead of a phone call I have received an email, sent just as the person was clocking-off work for the day/weekend and I’m still waiting for the promised phone call from yesterday. This refusal to speak to me is frustrating – I am having a conversation via email with someone where there are several days between responses, rather than sorting it out in one conversation.

I have agreed to a quote to switch from a monthly tariff to a one-off fee for my card terminal. Since Monday (it is now Wednesday) I have been waiting for an answer to the following questions:

1. Can the terminal be set-up to plug into the phone socket instead of the internet hub?
2. Will I keep the same merchant ID for the new terminal?
3. Is there a transition process to switch?

This follows an issue which took over 6 weeks and several follow-up emails to resolve where Sage Pay had misinformed me that one PCI compliance questionnaire would cover my three payment methods (internet, MOTO and card terminal), when in fact a separate PCI compliance questionnaire is required for the card terminal, at an additional cost of around £130 per annum via Trustwave, on top of the around £130 per annum I’m already paying which now appears to only cover the internet and MOTO payment methods.

Its their absolute disregard for my time and the fact that I’m trying to run a business that sticks in my throat.

the member of staff was excellent and a massive help and very pleasant

I spoke to Michelle today about a transaction that was potentially fraudulent.

I received clear, plain English advice that helped me through the system with ease.

Michelle also advised us on how we may be able to add the 3D secure service to our web transactions in order to help prevent any attempted fraud wherever possible, and, of course, provide a more trusted shopping experience for our on-line audience.

Top Service From Sage Customer Support

I rang customer services this morning with a question regarding my merchant account, Lewis Dimmick, Customer Services Advisor took my call and very quickly got to grips with my problem and has put things in place to rectify the issue.

He also gave me sound advice related to my other questions regarding improving my accounting, inventory control, and payment methods offered on my website.

I have received a back up email from Lewis confirming that my issue has been addressed and information will follow regarding business support packages available from Sage.

All in all a top service and thank you.

Excellent customer service in the face of a frustrated customer

i was pretty frustrated that i had been unable to find some information that i urgently needed on a Sunday. Technical support were extremely patient and helpful in getting me what i needed with the minimum of fuss - more than made up for my initial frustration. Info might not be easy to find for some things, but their customer service is exemplary

Must be one of the best!

SagePay technical support is significantly better than many online card processing services that I have used before ( including Barclaycard, Worldpay, Ogone ( and in the distant past Streamline and Base24 ).

Their staff are very responsive to any request for help or information.

They deserve full marks for Technical Support.

I call sage on a daily basis for information regarding payments we receive. I am always greeted by a friendly voice (some whom I regularly speak to as calling so often) its nice as I am recognised when I call even though I am sure I am only a small fish calling in an extensive call centre.

Anyway cannot fault the service, helpful, friendly and obliging !

Good Customer Service vs. The Competition

Having just moved to SagePay from PayPal we have found their help and support to be very good, with one telephone number to call, you can get through to someone in the UK without spending ages with codes and long telephone menu systems.
To date would recommend sagpay and their support staff.

Good Service, Free 3rd-man Fraud Checking & Excellent Customer Service

SagePay have really sorted out their previous issues regarding downtime. We haven't had any downtime for the past 2 years now. The major plus of Sage is the ability to use 3rd-man fraud screening as part of our package.

Whenever we need further assistance with the account the customer services guys are very friendly and quick, you can always get through quickly and fraud-checking etc. is fast and easy.
